  Frukosten kunde varit bättre. Enda pålägget på smörgås var marmelad och fanns bara ljust bröd. Ett bra val av hotell och jag skulle välja det igen.

  Very stylish hotel with very good service. Everything would, and should, have been spot on hadn't it been for: The swimming pool pump wasn't working, which happens. But we found this out by "mistake" since we thought it smelled a bit. Then a kind person in the staff tells us that it's been broken for over a week. Why doesn't the hotel tell this to their guests? Fine, they put loads of chlorine in the pool every morning, but without circulation the filtering is out, which is seriously disgusting. Also, AC in the room was very loud and the video rental outside plays the Laotian all day at high volume. To top things off they keep a large live owl chained in the garden. Sure, it keeps birds away but it is not very nice to see such an animal chained. So sadly some very large (but easily corrected) mistakes and errors make us think that there are better hotels in Luang Prabang.
