Bra läge, trevlig personal. Inget att klaga på.

Ett mycket lugnt, tyst och bra hotell på FL Beach. Mycket bra personal och en ok Mex restaurang. Det är tre delar på hotellet, man ska bo på de två närmast havet.

Ett hotell som mycket väl lämpar sig för en eller två övernattningar för den som t.ex. skall fortsätta till en kryssning då det ligger nära Port Everglades. Att stanna en lite längre tid blir rätt påfrestande då, trots nästan dagliga påpekanden om brister i städning och roomservice ofta lämnades utan åtgärd. Exempel på detta: använda handdukar avlägsnades […] ur hotellrummet, inga nya lämnades i dess ställe, the, kaffe och vatten som skulle finnas för gästens behov i hotellrummet fylldes inte på utan upprepade påpekanden. Lakan byttes inte veckovis utan påpekande. Utöver detta kan nämnas att städing ofta utfördes på sen eftermiddag trots vår uttalade önskan om att den skulle utföras mellan kl 10 - 15.00. Vår uppfattning om hotellet är att de brister vi upplevt i huvudsak består i att personalen saknar utbildning och servicekänsla för de arbetsuppgifter de är satta att sköta. Detta gäller främst rumsstädning och serveringspersonal i hotellets egna restauranger och barer. Till hotellets försvar måste jag påpeka att dess management personal är mycket tillmötesgående, kunniga och charmiga men de har det inte lätt med en stab av "sommarjobbande tonåringar" Läs mer

We were two families with small children (2.5 years old) that stayed at this hotel in March, 2011. Good location on the beach. Very close to a big playground situated on the beach. Nice and clean interior. The room was a bit small with king sized bed and no balcony, but it was located just outside the pool. Two pool areas, no child/baby pool but long […] steps into the pools where the children could sit and play. The beach side pool area is more crowded with music, bar and restaurant, while the other pool area is calm. The hotel is located at the southern end of the beach and a bit far away from central Fort Lauderdale, aprox 10 min to the restaurants next to the beach and 30 min by walk to down town FL. The breakfast menue could have been better. One big minus, especially for people with allergies, is that the hotel uses some kind of air refreshing spray in the reception/lobby. Overall it was not bad. There was mold in the shower. Overall cleanliness was poor

Love the sleep number beds, very clean, great pool.

The hotel is in good location and right on the beach. However, somethings were not as expected of a Sheraton such as dirty and moldy rooms. Some of the staff were unfriendly. I stayed at better hotels, for sure!!

The customer service was fabulous! It's an older property; but it's been updated nicely and you can't beat the location and the views.

Never again. To expensive. It's not a hotel - it's more like a motel.

When we arrived at 1:00 am after a cancelled flight on April 19th the woman at the front desk was very accommodating. It ended after that. The next morning, Id went to the front desk as soon as I woke up to book a room for Thursday because we could not get a flight until Sat. I was to.d there was a room available for Thursday but not Friday. We could […] get a late check out but that was it. I asked if I could be notified of a cancellation & was told no but if I wanted to I could check back on my own. When I returned the next day at noon, my key would not work. When security came up to let us in we were told we had no reservation for that day. He let us in but told us to take care of it T front desk. Our 10 year old jumped on the shower & we changed and there was a knock on the door. It was the security guard asking my husband if he could escort him to the front desk. Apparently our room was never booked. After explaining our situation to the new girl at the front desk , she rebooked our room. A room , by the way, which was never cleaned. On Friday we were then told we could not get a late check out. Thank goodness the weathher was beautiful & we went to the pool anyway. The 2 days we spent there were less than perfect we were waited on by a lovely server named, Marilyn.she was so friendly & attentive . The Sheraton Beach Hotel afforded us a wonderful vacation. The staff is amazing, they are helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We loved the beach, pools, surrounding area, etc. There was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach and it was only cleaned up once during our stay (wish they had done it at least every other day) The Marriott nextdoor […] cleaned it up everyday. Wish they offered Queen sized beds. We are not big people by anymeans but double beds are crowded (especially when you are used to a King Sized Bed) I'd pay extra for it!!! The rates were fair, the restaurant choices in the area are good. If you have a car they are even better! Don't miss the 15th Street Fisheries and Dockside Cafe for dinner! Yummy! Lots of Europeans stay here. They have a habit of shopping and leaving all their empty boxes and bags in the hotel hallways by the elevators. Don't get why they don't leave their garbage in their rooms!! All in all we can't say enough good stuff about the hotel. The beach tower rooms are a bit smallish, The Clipper ship (main building rooms just a tiny bit bigger) Even if you end up in the Marina Tower you are still VERY close to the beach and pools. The wait staff on the beach and at the pool (we got a cabana by the pool for a couple of days) are great. Snorkeling, Diving, and fishing charters just across the road. Jungle Queen Cruise and sightseeing trips, Lots of beach activities (para saling, jet skis, paddle boards, banana boat ride, etc) for teens (just bring lots of money lol) on the beach by the hotel. Came here in the morning after our cruise. Arrived at 10AM and was given a room right away. Great rate and upgrades too to a room closer to the beach. Very friendly staff. Great location! Try Coconuts restaurant within walking distance to the North. Walk South down the beach and watch the cruise ships go out at about 430pm The city needs to clean […] up the piles or sea weed on the beach. Two manatees swam by us within about 15 feet. Well positioned hotel on the beach although there are several buildings so not everyone is in this position. We didnt explore hotel v much but could see our hotel pool was small but I think there are others we could have used had we found them. We were given no map for the hotel which would have been useful. Room was fine could see it had been upgraded […] recently but bathroom was teeny tiny. Also we saw no leaflets on display in reception for places to go etc and had to ask but they were very helpful. We got water bus taxi and had a lovely day and night on it exploring coastal waterway which would def recommend Läs mer

Location good but was put in room directly opposite lift so could here the lift bell everytime the doors opened. Complained and got moved to a room next door plant room so more noise. Was told nothing else they could do. Room was ok but very small old looking bathroom. Was recommended to eat at bar by swimming pool. So walked to other side of hotel […] with father who was not very mobile and young son. Once reached we were told that food had stopped. Went back to reception who just shrugged shoulders. Beach in front wasn't as clean as you'd expect. You can tell this hotel is old. Elevators smelled weird and made weird noises but otherwise we loved this hotel. Very clean and luxurious. We even got an ocean view room. Lobby and restaurants are new and classyy. Also 2 warm overflowing pools to choose from. Very nice! Extremely recommended!

Really like this hotel--this is the third time we've stayed there. Great location, right on the beach. The hotel had done major renovation since our last visit, and looked great. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to restaurants, a marina, and a VERY convenient store called All About Food, which had everything you […] could want in the way of snacks, sandwiches made to order, even beer and wine, if you wanted to bring food back to your room. The hotel had many places where one could relax--a pool on the ocean with a bar/restaurant, a smaller pool in a different area--quieter, also a nice outdoor seating area, even a small zen garden. The biggest plus is the location right on the beach--complementary lounge chairs with cushions, food and bar service--and pretty reasonable prices, as well. We'll be back next year! Läs mer

Good service, heated pool, free use of computer, printer and fax machine in the loby, they upgraded us to the beach tower for free. Def will come back.

Loved the location of the hotel itself. Amenities were nice - beach staff very friendly and helpful. From the website I had assumed I would have an ocean view room but this was not the case. Also was in the "main building" instead of the beach building which would have been a better room. I am a Starwood member so I assumed I would have been upgraded. […] The bathroom had no vanity which made it less than convenient to get ready in the morning. Excellent location. Probably the only hotel in the area that's on the beach side, depending on which of their buildings you stay in. Definitely does not feel like a 4 star hotel. More like a 2.5 to 3 star at best (atleast the room we stayed in). No shuttle service to airport.

This hotel has a nice pool - and the food at the poolside cafe was good. This is next to the public beach, so there are volleyball nets etc. nearby. The beach side building is older, but well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The hotel was incredibly over-priced. The service was extremely slow. The hotel restaurant offered HORRIFICALLY poor service, VERY over-priced food (which was only okay at best). I would not recommend this hotel, and would highly advise against the hotel restaurant.

I found the Sheraton hotel accommodations to be wonderful, especially for the price. My room had a view of both the marina and the ocean. They have a pool right on the beach with great food service. Every one of the staff was courteous and the beach umbrella's and chairs were set out perfectly. The only thing I thought was odd/chintzy was that the glasses […] in the rooms are plastic. There is also a pretty nice little coffee shop. I had dinner and drinks in the Wreck bar which was also excellent. The only downer was my treatment in the dos Camino restaurant. Location awesome close to everything. The hotel has everything right there the beach, bars, restaurants , two pools it was awesome I will stay there for sure. The room was huge and very clean and nice. The staff very friendly and pleasant . They had a deli with coffee drinks and great sandwiches not bad prices. Great Location...walkable to many great restaurants and the fun areas and the beach!

This is an old hotel, rooms smelled musty, elevators, outlets, A/C system clearly outdated. Beach it is on is nice, but if looking for a nice room, go somewhere else.

The pool area of the hotel was very nice except that there wasnt enough lounge chairs. The pool being right on the beach was a nice touch especially if you have kids.

This hotel is in a great location to enjoy Fort Lauderdale Beaches. We were in one of the older buildings that had been renovated. The rooms were nice, beds comfy. There was a great pool, lounge furniture and great gym. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere.

Was disappointed on the age of the Hotel for the price we paid. Plus we had bad experience with their restaurant and had to always go out to eat.

Hotels .com Stated that this was a four star hotel. The manager said that it was not. It is a three star Hotel. I was promised a king bed and given two doubles which filled the very small room. No refridgerator, no robes, no shower caps, no promised newspapers. We were told is was 'downtown', close to major shopping..no way..we had many cab fares. Fantastic location right on the beach. Clean rooms, nice place to stay. I chose one of the more basic rooms and it was absolutely comfortable and close to where I needed to be for a reasonable rate.

Nice big beach. Pleasant staff. Close to a few local restaurants, short drive to more.

Great hotel with a great history, the hotelwas former Yankee clapper. The rooms need to be a little bit upgraded, but they were very clean.
