Hotell Hyatt Regency Miami - Miami

As mentioned in some reviews the Hyatt is in need of some refurbishment, particularly the bathrooms, but our room was very clean and very comfortable with a view to die for. Breakfast was superb, unfortunately not included in our rate, but would recommend it. Public areas are very nice. You can access the free metromover from the hotel lobby. The rear […] of the hotel overlooks the river. It is very convenient for anyone taking a cruise as the port is not far away. We LOVED Miami and ALL of the Hyatt staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, particularly the Lead Concierge Maria Elena. The beds are very comfortable at this hotel. We had two double beds. The down comforters and pillows were very nice. There were a few draw backs. There is a College that shares the hotel and its also part of the convention center. So if you are not part of those groups be ready for the morning crowds. The lobby gets very busy and the front desk has […] a hard time even answering the phones. Pleasant staff and easy check in/out. Food is pricey. $22 plus tax per person for breakfast. I suggest a short walk down the street where there are many alternatives for far less. Try Las Palmas for a good homemade cuban breakfast. Very close and convenient to the cruise ship and the Bayfront (mall) is about two long blocks. I would not recommend walking to the cruise ship if you have lots of luggage. Take a cab. This hotel offers no shuttle service. Also no in room microwaves or Frig. All in all though it was nice. Läs mer

Would you consider some literature informing guest how close to a pharmacy they are . Secondly place a recepta cle in room to hold tooth brush.

It is a good hotel, the breakfast buffet was good and good service. For me personally, all the areas, except our room, were too cold. I will not recommend this hotel or come back.

The hotel is located by Bayside. Please be aware that the hotel charges breakfast and internet service if not package. My stay included breakfast and internet.

Very close to Port, which worked great for us, and the staff was very friendly. The room decor was not 4-Star - dated and a little worn.

Not more than a 3 star room. Small, inadequate batthroom by Hyatt standards. No view even though we were on the 18th floor. Service was very good. Food was passable.

Ok, I have a lot to say about this hotel. I was EXTREMLEY DISSAPPOINTED. First off in my hotel room, while I was taking a shower the water just happened to turn off, and there was no water. So we had to change rooms. In the other room, housekeeping left a disgusting band-aid in the shower. Overall the carpets in the room were not very clean and needed […] to be vacuumed properly. The bath tub was dingy, and I almost puked when I saw that band-aid. The valet is a complete mess, and you really have no choice of self-park. They will charge you the same high rate going in and out of the self parking then if you pay the even more expensive rate for valet. Also expect to wait at least 30 minutes to get your car, Even if you call 15 minutes before, expect to wait. The only good thing about the hotel was the people at the front desk, they were very polite and apolegetic for all the unconviniences. They tried very hard and were very kind. Overall, this hotel was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The only nice thing were the employees whose customer service was excellent. The hotel provided a full breakfast buffet without any additional charge, much better than we expected.

The rooms, are very nice, but you can tell teh building was constructed several decades ago. The ceiling could stand to lose the spackling. It's still a very nice hotel with very reasonable rates for the neighborhood. The major complaint is its location next to the convention center, which on the weekends can turn getting breakfast at the hotel restauarant […] into a horror show. There was a university graduation at the convention center, and there was literally a 45 minute wait for a table because of everyone's families wanting something to eat... During the evening there was a HS dance, and parking was an impossibility (the valet was full when I came back from dinner), and the lobby was literally elbow to elbow with kids and their chaperones. I can't believe the luxury and convenience of the Hyatt Regency Miami hotel for the VERY reasonable price. Great restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms were large and soundproof. Pillows were lovely. The only problem was we didn't get to see any manatees from the huge windows near the elevators.

We were staying at the Hyatt hotel for one night before our cruise. The hotel was very close to the cruise port and other downtown venues. The staff was very professional and the hotel was immaculate. I personally would recommend this hotel to anyone as well as return to this location the next time I'm staying in miami. we really loved the hotel.

Got to spend one night here after the cruise ship, we arrived early but had to wait till 2pm to get our room. We were supposed to get two queen beds but got one king bed when we walked in the room. Well, we didn't make a fuss about it, cause we were here just for one night. Always a top choice for Miami because its downtown and away from the overpriced South Beach, but also, the rooms are cozy in a way. They are set up perfectly and you never feel stressed or like you are being ripped off. King Britt

Stayed at the Hyatt Downtown Miami the night before a cruise. They offered a reasonable "happy hour" drink option as most cocktails were expensive, which I would expect at a nice downtown hotel. I have never been to the "formal" Miami downtown, and it was alot of fun on a Saturday night. We got a spectacular rate, and since the hotel is at the convention […] center saw some of Miami's wealthier residents (and their cars) at a performance that evening. Took the free public monorail and walked home early enough that we felt safe. Right on the water - it was lovely. My only request would be a free shuttle to the port, since it is so close. my stay at the hyatt regency was awesome the staff was professional and courteous. and i was able to relax the whole entire time .

I had a good time at the Hyatt. Staff was great, buffet breakfast was excellent and the room though small was more than I needed.

I was there for business at the Miami Convention Center, which was about a 30 minute drive with the traffic. This was the only bad part. But this hotel is located downtown, nice neighborhood. Hotel was clean and friendly, although they were going through renovations. Great for its price too~ Breakfast buffet downstairs was just okay. scrambled eggs, […] bacon, sausage, fruits, cereal, yogurt. My friend left their cell phone in the roomwhere the staff found it. The hotel charge $50.00 to mail it back by Fed Ex.

Worst Hotel I could have ever been to, and I have three reasons why: 1) My Hotel Room had a balcony, but I was unable to access it (whether it was a design later added by the hotel I don't know.) 2) Hotel key card incident my hotel key card programmed for my room, but now programmed for the elevator to get me up to my room. This Hotel was nice but the decor in our room needs some upgrading. The carpets were a little stained. It was in a convenient location for our cruise.

We were very happy with the location.The service was good. However there was not an indoor pool, and it rained our whole duration of our stay. The room was old and the carpets needed to be clean. I called the hotel the day before to ensure that I was in fact getting the room that I requested and paid for. I did this for my own reassurance. My flight was late coming into town because of the rain. I called the hotel and told them that I was going to be late checking in. I was told it would not be a problem. When I got to the hotel, my two bed […] room that I paid for was not available. Wait a minute, I was not told this at check in. When I got to the room, I saw 1 bed. I called down to the front desk right away to find out what happened. I was told that even though I paid for a specific room, it was a busy weekend and it was not available for that night. Then the front desk person had the nerve to say I can give you a roll out bed. “It’s usually $25.00, but I’ll wave the fee.” You think, after you jack my reservation up. As for hotel cleanness, I was not impressed. What is on the website was totally elaborate compared to what is seen in person. There was hair in the bed when I pulled the sheets back to sleep. As for the bathroom, there was some brown substance in the tub that could not be moved. As for the carpet, I couldn’t tell if it was dirty or if the black multi-colored spots were patterns. Stayed in this hotel one night prior to cruise. Due to weather on arrival unfortantley did not get to explore the surroundings. Very close for Port, Hotel had great facilities, very clean, thoroughly enjoyed the wings and drinks in the bar which were a great price. Would stay here again before crusing.

I stayed @ this hotel while waiting for my apartment to be ready so i am familiar with the area and its conveniences. The Lobby and outside of the hotel are very nice and worthy of the Hyatt brand, However the rooms are in desperate need of an update. look like last time they were refreshed was the mid 80's. I had to change my first room due to an overwhelming […] mildew odor and my second room smelled like industrial cleaner. The staff was very friendly but overall I would say not worthy of being called a hyattt. Would not stay there again Läs mer

Beautiful hotel when you walk in, nice friendly staff, Rooms were comfortable, although the rugs could probably use an upgrade. Our iron was missing but in 15 minutes they got us one right away. Only thing was there was only one garbage can by the desk, none by sink or inside the bathroom. Beds and pillows very very comfortable, nice tv, for a one night […] stay it was wonderful.
