Helt ok hotell om man vill ha bad för små och en lekplats. Men rummen är slina. Det första luktade mögel (ordentligt) så vi bytte. Städningen dålig - hittade nötter under sängen (livsfarliga för små barn + ur allergisynvinkel) och vassa glasbitar. Vi såg inte mycket av pirat tema alls. Great hotel for the price. The pools and slides are so much fun for the little one ! A big hotel for some, but the surroundings are beautiful. Better than port orleans because of the kiddie pool.

Didnt have a fridge in the room when we first got there, had to call front desk. Refused to pay $3 for a cup of hot water. Room was clean. Service pretty fast when we called.

This resort was excellent overall. Helpful, cheerful staff and a lot to do. The main pool area is like a mini-waterpark on its own! But make sure to check a map of the resort and book a room according to how close you want/need to be from Centertown (where all the food and activities are). Also give yourself plenty of extra time for the Disney shuttles... […] this resort is huge so there are always tons of people waiting to get back (at night) so you may need to sit through a bus rotation or two. It took too long to get to the places I needed to be for the family wedding I was attending. Since I didn't have park tickets, it was very inconvenient. I had to take a bus and a boat for a total of approximately 45 mins to go from resort to back entrance of Epcot. This was very frustrating.

we stayedat Caribbean Beach Resort May 16th thru th 19th, 2013 for our daughters birthday. Request pool/lake view, our room was outstanding. We had a corner room and had two windows, one was lookin at the main pool and the other was the lake in the North Trinadad building. Staff was very friendly and helpful when questions were asked. The resort has […] a lot of activities going on during the day and evening, that if your not visiting the Parks, you will have a full day at the resort. Movie under the stars are awesome, but get a seat early, the staff wouldn't put the umbrellas down for the people in the back to see. Resort is very close to Downtown Disney and Disney Boardwalk. We are annual passholders and Florida residents so we have stayed at many area hotels. The room was fine, nothing spectacular. While clean, it seemed dated and nothing about it suggested Disney. Depending on what your are looking for (extra magic hours, Disney transportation) you could do better for your money staying off-property. The Downtown Disney […] area hotels are a good alternative. We waited up to 30 minutes for the right bus, then the bus made multiple stops picking up passengers at the other villages of the resort. So expect that it might take you up to an hour to arrive at the park. The grounds are nice, and it's a pleasant walk around the lake to the main pool area/food court. My 3 year old LOVED the pirate themed kid's pool! It was definitely a highlight for her, and she hasn't stopped talking about it. Läs mer

Going with a Disney Resort makes vacationing at the Disney theme parks pretty pain free. The room was great (loved the Nemo and Dori wallpaper), pools were awesome and the included transportation means you never have to get in your car again once you check in. So no parking fees and no long wait for transportation to and from the "way out" parking spaces […] at the theme parks. The concierge was very helpful getting our admission tickets. Plus the whole "Magic Hour" deal for Disney properties can't be beat. Bottom line, you can stay at cheaper hotels in the area, but the extra $$ to stay at a Disney place was well worth it to us. even though there was construction on premises the room was good. bus stops help alot for this big resort. when traveling to disneyworld, riding the shuttles were great!

We stayed at the Caribbean for 9 nights with our 4 and 7yrs old. The hotel is very well located to reach any of the Disneyworld attractions, and thankfulky apart from the disney shop in the main eating area has no disney features whatsoever. We welcomed this as a very pleasant change of scenery. The rooms are well proportioned (you dont spend anytime […] in the hotelroom apart from sleeping anyway!), the pool areas (yes several of them!) and playground are great. We actually went on a bass fishing trip on our last day, and it was the best activity of the whole week! Both children cought plenty of fish, our captain was amazingly friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We had the best time of our lives! The rooms could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly, there is plenty of sand that gets in from the beach. We liked the foodcourt and also the hotel restaurant. I went jogging along the waterfront every morning, which was a nice luxury to have. Bus travel to attractions wihout any problem, although coming back from downtown disney at night can take long due to wait time for the bus. We stayed in one of the water view pirate rooms. It was very nice. I think next time I would just get a regular room. The pirate rooms are very far from the food court and the pool. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

The exterior grounds were attractive. The room was sub par, cramped and did not have adequate furniture. There was not enough dresser space for more than one or two guests. There wasn't a microwave and the refridgerator was old and broken. We requested a rollaway bed and the bed they sent was ripped and torn and sagging. This is the first time I used hotels.com and was very satisfied with the value of the room and resort. We were taken care of as if we were the only ones there. I would definitely recommend this and will book again for my next trip! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Kids had a blast at the pools. Rooms were ok but you don't spend much time in the room. Beds were small. Food was fair. Tip: if kids are not big eaters they can split $8 chicken tenders. Was a nice size portion. Grounds were well maintained. Internet wifi worked well. Mini fridge worked well but no freezer. Shuttle service was great.

Reluctant after reading some reviews, but really enjoyed our stay. Some people may expect more from the facilities with "Resort" being in the name. This is not an all inclusive, pampering destination. Rooms were simple and clean, but large for the Disney moderate price range. Housekeeping arranged the kids stuffed animals differently every day. Dining […] facilities were perfect for a vacation with young children, and stayed open late. Walks to dining facilities were fairly long from our building, but easy going and relaxing after the park bustle (book closer rooms if walking is an issue). Never waited long on a bus, not more than 15-20 minutes max. Very close to Epcot and Hollywood, longer drive to Magic and Animal Kingdoms. Several activities for the kids at night, pool side, and on the beach (from roasting marsh mellows, outdoor movies to hula hoops). Spectacular pool and hottubs with handicap lifts, 0 slope entry, water slides and a kiddie splash pool. Staff was helpful, cheerful and accommodating. This hotel feels like a fancy Days Inn. There are no elevators, the satellite TV reception is iffy, and the rooms are average. Spend the extra money and stay in one of the Disney Deluxe properties instead.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort. It did not disappoint, as the convenience from included transportation and nearby food was very relaxing. I only wish the rooms had micowaves, otherwise everything you need for a relaxing family vacation.

The staff went out of their way to help--can't commend them enough, and Disney is certainly one of the most disability-friendly places on earth. That being said, I don't anticipate ever staying at a Disney resort again. Extremely overpriced for the quality of the accomodations and amenities offered. Hate to think that if this was a "moderate" resort, […] what could the budget resorts possibly be like. With only one sit-down restaurant (and it only served dinner) and a food court; there was no breakfast room service, so if you wanted something to eat before setting out, you had to make a long hike to the food court for even a cup of coffee and a pastry. Loved the bus service and the food court was fabulous. Rooms are well used but clean and comfortable. We would definitely go back. As my 5 year old said "we had the most funnest time ever".

The first room at check in had an awful musty smell and extremely dim. We were moved to a new room that appeared better. After a few minutes in the room it was discovered that the trash from the previous guests was still in the trash can, there were only two bath towels, no wash clothes. Overall, good value. What we expected from a Disney value hotel. Our 3 year old loved it...especially the splash pool and slides (great for little ones), the campfire on the beach, and the outdoor Disney movies at night. Service was good. Rooms were small which was expected from reading reviews. Did not have meal plan and glad we didn't. Food was average […] at best. Coffee was excellent! The meal plan seems like a game for those that want to play it trying to eat the most expensive things to get a value. It also really promotes overeating. We bought snacks and sodas on way from airport and more than sufficient to last the week...and not at all inconvenient. Hotel location was good.
