Mycket fint hotell med lite New York känsla i designen. Dock extremt hårda sängar och rummet något varmt.

Ett hotell som kändes ganska affärsgästorienterat men som verkligen fick oss (2 vuxna med bebis) att känna oss välkomna med bra service och hjälp med småsaker. Helt okej standard på rummen och bra läge, inte jättecentralt men trevligt område. Jag kan helt klart rekommendera detta hotell!

Ett utmärkt hotell för dig som inte räds att åka tunnelbana eller taxi. Lobbyn var sval och väldoftande och spelade skön musik, så man gärna dröjde sig kvar. Rummet var rymligt, snyggt och hade betydligt mer bekvämligheter än vad vi förväntade oss för det priset. Även en stor balkong, som tyvärr saknade stol/bord och utanför var det rätt livlig trafik. […] Med balkongdörren stängd är det tyst och behagligt, om än inte ljudlöst. Den inbyggda AC:n var också tyst och effektiv. Att promenera in till gamla stan tog nästan en timme(!) men med tunnelbana är det bara ett fåtal stationer. Would definitely recommend!

Bodde på hotellet i 4 nätter. Det är nyrenoverat, allt är fräscht och fungerar bra. Sängen bra. Rummet var litet, och med fönster mot en mörk gård. Låg mysfaktor, men för att bara bo på så fungerar det utmärkt. Ligger i lugna kvarter.

The hotel couldn't have been better. High quality interior and very very clean. We went for a standard room and it was perfectly adequate for our 4 night stay. Our room was very quiet located at the back of the hotel. The hotel location was ideal - just two Metro stops from Sagrada Familia and a very short journey (one change) to Plaça de Catalunya. […] It's also a short walk to one of the city tour bus stops. Our first trip to Barcelona and this hotel is away from the noise of all the tourist attractions, but just a short trip away via the Metro. The hotel was quiet, which is something we really wanted. The Metro stop is a short two blocks away. We had a little bit of an issue with shower staying hot, but we managed. There are a couple of restaurants nearby […] that are nice including Maitea for tapas. Staff were pleasant and the decor was modern. We would easily stay here again. Läs mer

Nice hotel. Very quiet. Located about 40 minute walk from La Sagrada.

Adorable hotel, GREAT for the money we spent. Highly recommended. Will stay again.

Bathroom wasn't clean, bad rush clean work! and shower had problem, can't mixed cold and hot water, almost get burn!

After a long day of action packed sight seeing and happy crowds, it was very nice to retire to our U232 hotel for a long shower in the perfect bathroom and great sleep in soundproof room! Great beds, very clean, right on metro and in a nice local neighborhood where café was 50% cheaper than any more touristic area!!

We had a fabulous experience at the hotel. The rooms are very nice and new. The staff was helpful in giving us directions. It's about a 30+ minute walk from many key tourist sites such as La Ramblas, Casa Batllo, La Pedrera, but we enjoyed the exercise. The subway is also right outside the hotel.

This was a very clean and modern hotel...the desk staff friendly and helpful...breakfast was good, but a bit pricey....highly recommend this hotel...good value.

This hotel is well appointed and in a good location- close to the metro- which can get you to any site that you might want to see in Barcelona. The metro is so simple and easy to use, we did not take a taxi the whole entire time we were in Barcelona! Our room had a settee at the end of the bed, and a bench against the wall, allowing for additional […] room which was welcome at times during our 5 day stay. The front desk staff was largely wonderful- all spoke great English- one evening staffer on the front desk was not particularly warm or open, he did not even acknowledge our presence as we entered the lobby, but his actions were the exception- not the rule. The hotel offers 2 computers for patrons use, helpful for web-check in, etc--such offerings at no charge were very thoughtful since we had decided to forgo bringing and technology with us on our 3+ weeks abroad. One small, but somewhat important privacy detail- the bathrooms are not completely private, rather they are separated by a sort of 'blind system' between the bathroom and the main room- which do not close.. so if you are trying to allow a spouse to sleep in and keep the light out of the main room- cannot do so. Or if you are traveling with a friend, and might want some privacy in the bath while showering or in the bathroom, etc- there is little privacy--- just making a notation so people will know. Also- there is a Mailboxes Etc business right around the corner from the hotel - useful for sending things home if you do not want to schlep them along them remainder of your trip. This was a great place to stay - the staff were really helpful and had our room ready when we arrived after a long haul from Australia. Would stay there again and recommend it as a really convenient location to all the city - close to buses and metro. Very quiet and well presented.

Would not recommend this hotel. Found a bug crawling on me, under the sheets, while taking a nap in the afternoon. Saw a lot of fruit flies in the room (at least 4). Worst of all, I caught a beg bug in the morning! I took it down to the front desk and they said, "thank you for bringing it to their attention" and looked at me. I asked them to do something […] about it and they said there is nothing they could do - as I did not book with them directly. Unfortunately, my taxi to the airport was waiting outside and it was early in the morning so no manager to speak with. I had to leave and could not wait around. Needless to say, will never stay there again! After coming back to the US, I saw a review with trip advisor and read about bed bugs back in 2010. What a shame as the hotel was really nice! Läs mer

I would recommend this hotel. It's a bit of a walk from sights, but worth it. People were very helpful and friendly.

and metro entrance right across the street. We had a great view with a big terrace that even had an electronic retractable sun shade. Clean, spacious room and bathroom and the water pressure in the shower was amazing -- almost decadent! Hotel staff were great. We will recommend this hotel to friends.

Very impressed. The staff was more than eager to assisit with questions, directions and very good with English. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location for me. I received great value for the cost. The outdoor rooftop terrace was wonderful but I would have enjoyed a pool or hottub within the hotel. They did, however, offer pool access […] accross the street at another property. The front desk staff was that of a 5 diamond hotel, I was very impressed. Very modern hotel with wonderful amenities (like rooftop terrace overlooking city, great breakfast area, business lounge and lobby/bar area. The rooms were well laid out and spacious with very comfortable beds. Reception staff were always available and eager to please (and they recommended a wonderful Basque restaurant that we loved!). We were a bit worried about the distance of this hotel from the main tourist areas, but this turned out to be a blessing as we really enjoyed the neighborhood and the hotel itself was top-notch. Our room was on the 2nd floor and faced the back so we didn't have a vie - but we did get an extra big balcony. Curiously, there was no patio furniture, so […] there was no way to really enjoy it other than lean out. This is a very design-y hotel with really nice furniture by Zanotta, Artemide, etc. There's a bar downstairs and a breakfast restaurant (though we opted for neighborhood cafe's instead). If you are taking the metro from the airport, the light blue line actually takes you to the nearest stop (Hospital Clinic). This same line takes you directly to the Sagrada Familia. All other sites are 2-3 transfers away. Friendly staff and great amenities as well (love the heated towel rack and box of personal grooming kit you get upon check-in.) Läs mer

When we checked into U232 we had already spent two weeks in Spain. The hotel looked clean and well maintained but the rooms looked very small. The toilet seat and commode in one bathroom were dirty and we had to call the housekeeper. We were given two rooms on the first floor. The rooms did not have balconies. From the web we had downloaded details […] about the hotel which said 'all guestrooms have balconies'. When we showed this to the receptionist she expressed her helplessness and said such rooms needed to be requested at the time of booking. The towels were not changed daily. The safes were a great convenience. The food was expensive and the portions not satisfactory. We went out to eat most of the time and that was good. The hotel is located away from the shopping areas and sights but is never too far even if you use the underground (TMB). Overall not a bad option, but don't think of it as a great place to relax. Don't choose this hotel if you uare looking for a real 4 star hotel. Rooms are very small and there are no double beds but 2 twins. Breakfast is below average. The only above average amenity is the wifi. In terms of location, near the underground but long for walking to central areas.

We stayed at the U232 in Barcelona June 1-3, 2011 and had a great experience. We arrived very early in the morning, hours before check in, but the friendly and helpful staff stored our luggage for us, gave us the wireless code, and a comfortable place to sit and relax. By the time we'd had a cup of coffee and checked our email, our (spacious) room was […] ready. If I was forced to find one fault, it would be that something they used in the hotel (an air freshener or cleaner?) was a bit overpowering. I would gladly recommend this hotel. Läs mer

For the price and the amenities it is a wonderful hotel. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood that is close to many eating establishments. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable. Train station is close and it is a good platform to begin eXploring the city. My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to Barcelona. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel lobby had a great ambiance- jazz music playing and couches to sit in. The location was nice, too. It wasn't in the middle of all the touristy things, like Las Ramblas, which meant we were able to find food […] and go shopping for decent prices. However, the hotel was a short walk to the Metro station, which made it quick and easy to get anywhere in the city. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Barcelona! Läs mer

Good hotel choice for our pre-cruise party of 6; 3 couples. From our perspective, free internet access was a bonus. Rooms, though small, were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. Limitations: Restaurant options within walking distance were limited. There is one across the street, but only pastry type items served there. We really enjoyed our stay in the U232 hotel Barcelona. The design of the rooms, the privacy of the spaces and the great service really liked us a lot. A great place to stay for a very reasonable price.

This was our first visit to Barcelona and this hotel really made it a perfect mini-break. Very clean, modern, spacious and well located hotel. Close to some very good restaurants and the brilliant metro system. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we will be back to both Barcelona and hopefully the U232 hotel. Thankyou to all.
