Mycket bra läge vid Fisherman's Wharf. Alla kommunikationer runt hörnet. Bra livsmedelsbutik på andra sidan gatan. Hotellets WiFi nät var väldigt långsamt.

hotellet ligger två "tvärgator" upp från Fischermans Wharf och 2 gator från den klassiska Spårvagnen - läget är bra men kvällstid lite skumma människor som alltid vid turiststråken - men kändes inte obehagligt att gå där. 10 min att gå till Pir33 där båtarna går till Alcatraz -Tips BOKA biljetter via nätet om ni kan bestämma dag. blir fullbokat snabbt […] (vi kom en torsdag och fick biljetter till lördag) Läs mer

Holiday Inn låg ett par minuters promenad från turistiga Fishermans Wharf och Pier 39. Som förstagångsbesökare och turist i SF ligger hotellet perfekt. Nära till bussar och kommunikation. Hotellets skick är OK, det har varit med ett tag men är rent. Deras WiFi är helt OK, men om du behöver printa ut någon bokning eller bekräftelse så är det under all […] kritik, deras "business center" datorer klarar inte av att printa PDF så ha allt sådant klart när ni åker. Vanligt amerikanskt stadshotell nära city...dyrt, inte superfräscht, lyhört och halvdana sängar. Antingen hostar man upp 500 spänn extra per natt eller så bor man i Tiburon på andra sidan San Francisco bay och åker båt in (20 min). Jättestort men välfungerande. Mitt i FW, som i vårt tycke blev alldeles för hysteriskt, men det är ju inte hotellets fel. Bodde tre nätter med två barn, funkade utmärkt.

Bra och relativt enkelt hotell mitt i tursitiga Fishermens wharf. Prisvärd vistelse!

Fast kanske vad man får räkna medmi fishermans warf. Vi hamnade i byggnad 2 vilken saknar lobby mm. Borde finnas bättre hotel för det priset

Bra läge, några minuters gång ner till hamnen bara. Och lika nära till att gå till Cabelcar stationen för att ta "downtown".

If your Staying in SF, This is a good place to be. Its near the warf and if you wanna go downtown its easy with the old cars just a few blocks away. We didnt have any troubles at all with our staying, we were very satisfied. We stayed in the beachhouse and when you enter it there is a Dennys restaurant. It was great except for the buffet.....WAY TO EXPENSIVE BREAKFAST!! It would be much better to have a free continental breakfast then be given the option to order hot food if wanted. Everyone was so friendly though and we would stay here again when coming to the area!

The reception people were very nice and helpful. My friend needed to open a bottle of wine and the Bar gave her an opener, didnt charge a corking fee. Really was within walking distance of the Warf and Cable Car stop was right up the streed. Trolley's also. We stayed in the Holiday Inn complex adjacent to the main building. It was clean and comfortable and the price was very reasonable for the location. We would definitely stay here again.

I had to bring my kids on a business trip, so I chose a hotel with a pool and in a neighborhood where the kids would have a lot to see. The Fisherman's Wharf was a perfect location for the kids. The hotel was so-so. Desk personnel were very friendly. The rooms were clean. The hallways had old, dirty carpet and a dingy feel, but we weren't sleeping in […] the hallways, so that was not a big deal. The pool was small, a bit cold, and not perfectly clean, but the kids swam happily. What was most frustrating was daily parking, which cost more than expected, and the parking lot is a block away from the building where we stayed (the hotel has two separate buildings, the main one, and a "newer" one). This hotel is spread across 2 separate buildings. We checked in at the hotel's main Columbus building but our room was in the Beach St building. There is very limited parking at the Beach St building so we had to park on the main site and walk down the street with all our bags. Most of the hotels facilities are on the Columbus building site, (swimming […] pool etc) so it is worth trying to find out which building you will be in if you have mobility issues or have children that want to spend the day in the pool. There is a separate parking charge which is typical of all the hotels and carparks in the area. The Beach St building has a Dennys restaurant attached but for some reason it is more expensive than other Dennys we have visited. The room was a good size and was clean and comfortable. It had tea/coffee making facilities. Fishermans Wharf is full of shops/stalls catering purely for tourists and is definately not one of the better San Francisco neighbourhoods. If you do want to stay close to the touristy bits of San Francisco, Alcatraz, Bay Cruises etc then this hotel is very well placed with good transport links to the rest of the city. Läs mer

This hotel provides a great location relative to Fisherman's Whart. The only down side is the separate building from the main hotel AND the cost of the parking. Hotel staff was very helpful.

At 3pm, we checked in and were sent to a dirty/ unprepared room. At 45 minutes after midnight the fire alarm sounded... we were aroused from our sleep and headed for the front driveway. These things happen, but we were never given any instruction or explanation. The fire trucks came... the manager on duty remained behind the desk (checking in late arrivals […] I think). A day later we were given a letter regarding upcoming delays to the phone service... but still no mention of the alarm event. The hotel was clean and convenient and the staff was courteous. Läs mer

The hotel is functional and in a good location, but it is dated and tired on the inside. The beds were clean and comfortable enough, but the overall decor was dark and worn. I can't complain about the cleanliness, I think they do a fine job there, it's just not a remotely inviting space to spend time in. There was a whining/moaning sound coming from […] the bathroom that required me to close the door just to mute it a bit. The explanation was "it's an old building." The bathroom was clean, though. Bottom line, the pictures that (along with decent reviews) led me to choose this hotel do not match up with the feeling you get when inside. The room was tired & worn and there was a 'screeching noise' blasting from the bathroom (apparently it was caused by the wind being sucked into vents accessed from the roof). Closing the door didn't help to muffle the noise - it was super annoying. For a S.F. hotel, I suppose Holiday Inn was as good as could be. But we heard lots of street noise at night and neighbors coming and going. The pillows were not comfortable (lumpy).

like others, we were sent to their "annex", b ut this was one block from the wharf itself. I "upgraded" to an executive room, but it was still very small. I never did figure out what the upgrade was about. the location was great, no doubt about that! Just a very small room for an executive category.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as it was walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. Would recommend this place to friends and would definitely stay here again.

There are three parts to this hotel: the one at the given address which has a very nice lobby, a Holiday Inn Express with a nice lobby, which also has a reasonably nice lobby, and the Beach Building where I stayed. Lovely hotel within comfortable walking distance to fisherman's wharf. Must take a bike ride around the are a and over the bridge. Several bike rental companies nearby along the wharf. Clean hotel, Decent room size compared to other hotels I've stayed at (especially compared to New York).

The internet was crawlingly slow - less than 100k. So much for the "Free high speed internet" promised. Strong and cold draught via the 0.5" gap under the room entrance door. Fan heater dried the air out totally. If you do end up here, skip the Denny's on the ground floor and walk the block or so to Trader Joe's.

Rooms in need of serious update!!

Hotel had a great location but parking is expensive. When we walked into our room it had a terrible smell so we had to leave the window open for a little while but no real complaints. Hotel staff friendly and courteous

Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Disappointed with the price of parking. Overall we had a great time.

This was a very convenient hotel, and close to everything, the Parking was a bit pricey at $40 a night for guests. When we arrived they put is in a building across the street which was kind of weird and we had to walk in the freezing cold to get there. I was waken up in the morning to the sounds of springs boucing up and down, guess the person in the […] room next to us was having a great time, but The sounds could be heard clearly through the walls. They should either get new beds with better springs or put some insulation in the walls so you can hear from the next room over. Läs mer

I use Holiday Inns all the time for business travel and I rarely disappointed. This hotel came in at a great price in a great location.

My wife and I stayed here for several nights. Our room was clean, hotel staff was friendly, great location. I will stay here again next time I am in San Fran

Beds are the best!

We made reservations a week ahead of time but when we checked in they sent us across the street which I awesome was the original holiday inn but had only maybe 12 parking spots so we had to park in main building and walk to our building and believe me there is no short cut and it cost 40.00 a day. This hotel had the most comfortable bed and pillows that I have ever slept on! The room was very clean and the view from our room was great. The only complaint that I have, is that the noise from the early morning garbage trucks is loud. This by no means is the fault of the hotel, but it is something to think about if you are a light sleeper. Public […] transportation is right outside the door and the location is perfect for walking to any destination in the city. Lots of good restaurants are tucked into the local neighborhoods, and they are much better than the large, over-priced, noisy, and crowded eateries on the wharf. Good hotel , great location, close to tourist attractions

The hotel was in very good condition. Staff was not the friendliest but were courteous and efficient. We loved the location. The parking fee was unreasonable and way too high for paying hotel guests.

This was our first trip to San Francisco and we had booked another hotel on line. It was a disaster!! We never even got to our room and lost our money. We booked a room at the Holiday Inn from my phone sitting in a restraunt. We took a cab from the slums as fast as possible. The cab driver told us we were leaving hell and going to heaven. haha.. He […] was right. The hotel was so nice, everyone there was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. We would stay there again anytime. Thanks for turning our nightmare into a dream vacation.
