"Horrible Customer Service!"
We had a terrible experience. My six year old wanted a swimming party for his birthday. We rented a room that opened up to the pool area. We asked the front desk if we could borrow a table set up outside our room. We were told yes by the front desk. We set the presents on the borrowed table. In the middle of the party a worker walked through the back […] door of our room and confronted me regarding the use of the table. We had to take the presents off the table in the middle of the party and in front of our guests. My first issue of this is obvious; a violation of my rights-there is an expectation to privacy with a room when you rent it and the employee violated it by walking into the room uninvited and unannounced. Second I went down and talked with the Manager regarding the incident; no apology for the actions of their employee at that time. Later another manager approached me with the original manager while I was swimming with my kids and friends. After they asked to speak to me, I exited the pool and stood there in nothing but my swimsuit. They did apologize for the actions of their employee at this time. According to their own admission, the apology was stemmed by the knowledge of the violation of my rights and their fear of any recourse I could take. No wireless Internet in the outer building. No breakfast provided. Small old TV and noisy air heater.

The hotel has a great indoor swimming pool area. Rooms are moderate. Weak internet signal. 3 small pillows per bed. No elevator but lots of rooms on lower level. Close to everything. Nice restaurant. Staff Friendly.

We were looking forward to a kid friendly hotel, but the pool was too cold and our little ones (7 and 18mos.) got cold too fast and had to just move to the hot tub. There were supposed to be movies showing on the wall in the pool area on the weekend, but there were none. Also, the deal on hotels.com claimed breakfast was included in our package, but […] when we got there it was not. We would NOT have booked this hotel if we knew there was no breakfast included. "The Boise hotel and convention center - great"
My stay at the boise hotel was impressive. For a father it's hard to travel to hotels with enough entertainment but this one comes equipped with a saltwater pool and chlorinated spa as well as an overhead projector that plays movies on the wall above the pool. Guest service was amazing and the restaurant was top notch
we enjoyed the quiet environment here. the breakfast special was a nice surprise. the food and service was great. definitely will stay here again.

"Great place for price"
Bedrooms have been nicely updated and bed was very comfortable. Because price keep in mind if you are booking on the weekend lots of high school and college kids staying there. We heard talking all night in the room next to us. Great indoor pool and hot tub.

Spent a very enjoyable weekend in Boise and this hotel made the trip that much better. Clean rooms, very comfortable bed, friendly staff, and the kids loved the pool. We caught the rooms on sale, so the affordability was icing on the cake. Since returning home, I've already told friends about the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

The on site steak house is excellent. The sports bar has a great happy hour, $2 hot dogs, $3 bacon cheeseburgers and well drinks. The wifi signal in my room was terrible. The building is definitely showing its age.

Pros: HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Pros: The cheapest rate I could find Two mins away from the airport Nice and clean inside Plenty of parking spaces Wired Internet in the room (wi-fi only in the lobby area, however) Quick check-in Cons: The toilet was flushing by itself every fifteen mins so I just shut off the water.

This hotel was a nice place to stay and the price was very reasonable. I was impressed with the rate we paid even at short notice.
The hotel is not what was represented online, it is an old hotel that isn't even remodeled and is very dim. It needs updating.

Great rates! !! Never have a problem getting a room. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Right off interstate and very close to airport (within 2 miles) but not noisy at all. Has a wonderful Restaurant and great happy hour pricing at the lounge. Big indoor pool. Small but adequate workout room with a great tv, Only complaint would […] be that some of the outer buildings do not have an elevator to get to your room on the second floor. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and courteous. The sign out front wasn't very bright, and made the hotel a little hard to spot. There were lots of noisy teens in the halls in the afternoon. I was worried because the sound insulation was not great, but everything quieted down by bed time. No complimentary breakfast.

The only problem I had was that you could smell the chlorine from the pool as soon as you walked in the door. Other than that, the room was comfortable, clean, and a good value. They have a pool table near the pool, and they play movies on the weekends at the pool. Great place for families.

Great pool! Large, kid friendly, and they played a children's movie for us as we swam. I think it was salt-water, which I prefer to chlorine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but will maintained. You can tell the place is old, but has been taken care of, reminds me of staying at grandma's house. The beds were comfortable […] and linens were very clean. Pillows were high quality, not too thin. Breakfast was good. Better than a cheap continental, but we paid room service prices ($$$). "Our new getaway!"
A wonderful experience. The pool was awesome, the rooms clean and upscale for the price. The beds were super comfy, beautiful linens, wonderful amenities. We live in Idaho, but will be coming to Boise more often now that we have an affordable, fun place to stay. P.S. the restaurant is top notch, and most of all, the staff are friendly and fun.

I booked this hotel from the reviews I had seen. Yes, the building does show some age do to the fact it has been around for years. The rooms were very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable. I have stayed at some very ritzy & expensive places that had the same things to offer. The price was great. I would stay at this hotel again. Anytime.

Even though this is an older hotel, it is kept very clean and well maintained. We used to stay here when it was Holiday Inn and it is just as nice now as it was then.

"The Boise Hotel and Conference Center...Great stay"
The room was very comfortable and clean. Easy freeway access. Close to great restaurants, and shops. The few employees we seen were courteous and helpful. We were there on the night of the Boise State Broncos 1st home game of 2011. They had a great tailgate party out front but our room was still quiet.
WE stayed two nights at the Boise hotel and conference center and it was the best experience. The room was great; Bed was super;pool was huge and showed a movie while you swam; hotel staff were terrific and very helpful; restaurant food and staff were great! Not much else to say. This hotel is nice for the money but overall is't that great of a hotel. Positives: Pool has a projector screen for movies.
