I enjoyed my stay but I paid $10 for the free breakfast. When I checked into the hotel I was given a coupon for $20 off breakfast. My room reservations was for 5 people. So free breakfast still cost us $40. I would not consider that "Free Breakfast".

We had a weekend getaway with my son and granddaughter. The hotel was great. The room was clean and the staff was awesome. The pool was great. My granddaughter, son and I had a blast in the pool. Hubby enjoyed kicking back and relaxing. Will definitely stay there again.

I had booked two rooms for two nights and our first two rooms were filthy there were toothpicks and wrappers everywhere almost as if housekeeping didn't exist and the shower was horrifying but when we called they gladly changed our rooms to an executive suite which was clean but was literaly no different from the room we were originally in which was […] a queen with sofa bed honestly I don't know why they wpuld even charge more for those rooms in the firat place but the people there were very friendly and didn't give us problems about our room change I would not go back though Läs mer

I will absolutely stay in this hotel again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities at par. The only things I would mark the hotel down on are: There is a lot of wind noise around the balcony door (which isn't really a door anymore, but is bolted shut) A maintenance worker was shampooing the carpets outside our unit door for quite a long […] time -- this seems like an odd, and exceptionally noisy operation for 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday. Great location, close to everything. Large hotel, lots of amenities.....great frontdesk service. Only complaint, we were put on a floor surrounded by families with kids who were at sporting events for the weekend...VERY noisy! Very nice and clean. Loved the bigger spa as most hotels we have stayed at were smaller. Close to the mall and other shopping stores.

The hotel was great, the other guest however were not. We awoke to a fire alarm at 2am. Adult guests were in the hall until 2am talking so it was not a very restful night. I wouldn't recommend staying the night before a football game!

I always stay here when flying out of MKE. The rooms are clean and quiet. The shuttle to the airport is free with the park and fly package (it is extra at some hotels), and within 5 minutes of calling upon arrival the shuttle is at the airport to pick you up. Continental breakfast doesn't start until 6 and I always leave before that so the hotel offers […] cereal bars, yogurt, and coffee to go. There is a hotel restaurant and lounge that I have only ordered room service from but they were kind enough to bring it up when I ordered at exactly closing time. Try the peanut butter pie, it's worth the $2.50 delivery charge. Läs mer

I will tell you one thing about our stay. As it turns out, the digital clock in our room (the one between the beds) apparently was not "TURNED BACK" for DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME last weekend and we ended up getting up on HOUR EARLIER than we needed to...not a huge issue but dang! Stayed here to attend a Packer game. Great hotel, 24 hour pool, shuttle service to the Packer game! Very nice place to stay with lots to do in Appleton.

I booked this during my 10 min I was in another hotel (which was a horrible hotel). The hotel was spacious, welcoming, and the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. The room was clean, big, and the bed was so nice. We just stayed for 1 night, but it was worth the drive from the oshkosh hotel we had originally booked.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn while in Wisconsin for a Packers game. We checked in to our hotel and I immediately thought it looked run down. We had recently stayed at an extremely nice Sheraton Hotel and in comparison the Holiday Inn cost MORE and looked much shabbier, in some places DIRTY. We figured we would see how the stay went and […] go from there. Upon our return to our room I noticed that our door looked odd. It didn't shut correctly, there was about an inch of space around the door between it and the door frame and we could hear every single footstep outside. It was made worse by the fact that our room was in the middle of the hall. We got NO sleep as there were people up all night long and we could hear every word they said. The next morning we had a terrible and EXPENSIVE breakfast, the buffet had awful choices and was OVERPRICED. Not to mention that every single staff member we came across had an attitude and was rude! Our waitress at the breakfast buffet acted like she hated her job and talked to us like we were teenagers, the woman cleaning the elevator snapped at us like we just insulted her, when we hadn't said a word! Not a single staff member smiled or was even remotely pleasant except for the front desk. Upon checking out I told the concierge that we had a terrible experience and she said there was nothing she could do. I will never, ever stay at this hotel. I feel like they robbed me! Room had a bad smoke odor when we arrived and it got worse. Called the front desk and they said nothing could be done cause they were full. Mentioned it again during check out and all that was said was "We are sorry".

The room was very nice and a lot of room for the four of us. The beds were standard full-size not queen like what I expected. Other than that, we will be back next year!

Windows looked like they had not been washed in years. TV had no volume unless I reset it each time by pulling out plug in back and re-plugging it (I watched a hotel staffer do it once and I had to repeat it each time). Noise level was consistent with an older […] property--I had to wear ear-plugs to not hear doors closing at night on the floor. No free breakfast and pool/hot tub (one of the reasons we chose the hotel) heater broke the second night and we never got to use either. Some rooms smelled like smoke (one of my colleagues changed rooms) even though it is a non-smoking property. Well i went to Appleton for my job interview basically from Chicago, i found this Hotel on Hotel.com, thought its long drive why not to take family, went there found hotel on the spot of Highway, Good Place, my over all Experience with family about this hotel is good, the only thing Breakfast, if you want to do the Breakfast in hotel besure to be at […] spot before 8 AM. If you don't want the stress of surprises choose this hotel. It delivered what it said it would and delivered it while showing respect to the customer. The small amount of mold in the creases at the bathroom was the only drawback.

The room smelled musty/moldy. Had to turn air on to get rid of smell, then it was cold. Wedding reception going on downstairs. Music was heard for a lot of the night and we were on the 5th floor. A lot of people were in the front lobby watching the game. We felt very out of place walking through the lobby. Felt uncomfortable walking to the pool which […] we had a very hard time finding. I stayed on the executive floor, nothing all that special but pretty much everything was as expected, very average. There were some random hairs on my bed, and overall the cleanliness was less than other holiday inns I've stayed at.
