"Very pleasant experience"
We love this hotel because it was recently renovated. Everything is new and clean. The staff is the best I have ever come across. They go out of their way to say a pleasant hello when they see you. The breakfast is outstanding. This is the second time in a couple months that we have stayed here and the only negative thing I can say is that we had a […] problem with our room key working and they just cheerfully scanned us a new one. "super clean but old"
The hotel was very old but maintained well. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Even was able to walk around in white socks without getting them all dirty. Bathroom was clean and the bed was comfy. Crisp clean sheets and good towels in the bathroom. Hotel staff went over and beyond to help us with directions, restaurants and any need that […] came up. We did have to change rooms because the rooms are being painted one at a time, the fumes were extreme. They had no problem with us moving. One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff was outstanding. The free breakfast was fantastic. We plan on staying here every time we visit the Finger Lakes. "Happiness in Horseheads"
The hotel was quiet, despite it being a busy weekend with guests in town for sports car races at nearby Watkins Glen. "Had a wonderful stay"
I can't say anything bad ! Everything was great, the breakfast was awesome ! Friendly staff, clean rooms, cute pool. And the traffic on the highway next to the hotel didn't bother us a bit, just shut your window :) If it was closer to Seneca lake and the wineries, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat, but it takes 30 min just to get to Watkins Glen, […] that was the only thing that bothered me, it took a long time to get to top of lake. "Not Worth the Money! Way Overpriced!"
For a 160 a night stay, you would think this would be a nice hotel. This HIE is an OLD Holiday Inn they tried to renovate. The only thing nice in the room was the fridge and desk chair.
