Overall, not bad because it was so close to everything in downtown east lansing. It is walking distance to a variety of restaurants and bars. But it does not have a hot tub, even though the website says it does and you have to pay for wi-fi. You would think that after the amount you have to pay for the hotel, (it is one of the more expensive in the […] city) and having to pay to park, the hotel would stop trying to nickel and dime it's customers and provide free wi-fi. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. They treated me more like family, than just another customer. It was definitely appreciated after such a horrible flight.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The location is across from the MSU campus. I had fun walking around the nearby shops in the evenings and there are several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The service staff were great, but I felt the hotel is a little outdated with it's decor and needs to be remodeled for the price […] they charge. The room could have been cleaner and I know this sounds petty, but most hotel rooms have a bottle opener mounted somewhere in the bathroom. I had to call down to the front desk for one. Offering free internet, at least in the lobby area, would have been nice and dealing with a parking garage is a pain. The weight/exercise room is great and well equipped. Läs mer

The hotel was great. The location was great, plenty of great local restaurants within walking distance. The fitness center was well equipped.

Usually I have a room with windows that can open. Unfortunately, this was not the case here, as the air/heat system was extremely noisy, and turning it off made the room too stuffy. In the morning, I was told that none of the windows opened! I will avoid this hotel in the future, if I have another option.

We were in the midst of a crazy busy weekend, moving 2 daughters out of college accommodations, cleaning their digs and needing to store their stuff while also attending graduation. The manager Eric, arranged for us to store our daughters' massive amount of stuff in a very convenient area other than our rooms. The doorman and front desk staff helped […] us pack it all up at the end of the weekend. This hotel went way beyond the call of duty and we couldn't be more grateful. The employees were extremely helpful answering questions relating to parking, getting around the MSU campus, and doing whatever they could to make my experience positive. They even called my room to let me know my breakfast was waiting (whoops!). Only downside that I was surprised by was that my room was not cleaned, and I had let a housekeeper know […] when I would be leaving so the room would be available. However, that was inconsequential and I would recommend this hotel to others. Läs mer

We would definitely go back to this hotel! Very nice and very convenient. We were in East Lansing for our daughters graduation from Michigan State University and enjoyed the campus setting very much.

We had an all around good experience at this hotel. Beautiful fitness center, friendly staff, very comfy beds, and Bath & Body Works products in the bathroom!!! This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the MSU campus. The hotel was lovely, our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff went out of their way to make my 10 year old feel welcome. We all really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Marriott has a great reputation nationwide and its East Lansing location is no exception. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. Great location and rooms. Biggest drawback is that you have to pay for internet access... when you can get it free at local coffee joints it seems that a successful hotel chain could offer the same instead of nickle and diming the customer.
