"Opps"
It was one of my worst stays in Columbus hot tub wasn't working and the heater for the pool wasn't working. Two of the main reasons I booked there. Had a hard time connecting to the WiFi what a pain. Snow storm hit and wiped out the TV but the Russian TV channel was working. Also got screwed on the room rate for the conference there. "Hyenas?"
The hotel has had some updates on the interior and looks better on the inside than the outside. Main problem was the extremely thin walls (or the pack of hyenas staying in the room next door). The room was a average room. Pillows were comfortable and provided choice of softness. When we got in room a light was burned out and when we called to have it repaired they seemed to already know it was out. Did come and fix it. The bed was not comfortable..too soft . The layout of the room was not attractive all furniture to one side of the room. […] . and personally did not like color choices. Towels were great. Room did appear clean and maintained. "Not up to Doubletree standards"

"Nice hotel with a great location"
The hotel is somewhat dated and certain areas are looking a bit worn. But overall we were very pleased with our stay. The room and other areas we saw were very clean. What little interaction we had with the staff was great. Super friendly people. Only real complaint centers around the complimentary coffee that was supposed to be available in the mornings. […] There was a large contingent of travel soccer kids and parents staying there. "Wi-Fi Is Not Free & Unexpected Charges..."
They advertise that they have free Wi-Fi when in fact they do not. It is a $7.95 charge a day for access. Not to mention I have a $50.00 pre-hold on my credit card that I used when I paid for the room in full at the time of my booking and besides paying for the Wi-Fi access I spent nothing else at the hotel property. If they are going to put pre-hold […] charges on a credit card then the staff should let you know and why. But the room was clean and the property was nice. "Very good facility-uninformed desk help"
I was very pleased with the hotel but dissapointed with the knowledge of locations of well known landmarks i.e Ohio State Stadium, Costco, Sams Club, Bob Evans Resturant. Overall, I would stay there again. The two thin bath towels were a minor issue.Verifierad gästrecension
"Front desk very helpful"
I liked the hotel until my husband pointed out how noisy it was. It wasn't until the 2nd day that we realized our room was right next to the elevator shaft, room 621 and what we were hearing was the elevator going up and down. We weren't in the room much and after the OSU Purdue game we were too tired to ask to be moved. "Smelly towels!"
One thing that was very hard to tolerate in the room was the towels. The had a terrible odor - possibly from cheap detergent, being left in the drier too long, or being damp too long. "Big, Big Disappointment for Supposed 'Good' Hilton"
We were not allowed to check in early - but the next morning people were allowed to check in 4 hours earlier than we were. Booked a non-smoking room - the room REEKED of old stale cigarette smoke. They would not give us a different room, the only thing they would do was to spray a spray that made me sneeze for hours and then the smoke smell returned. […] I was a mess when I woke up the next morning. We asked for late check-out - they wanted us out one hour earlier than stated check-out time posted on the hotel room door. We had to fight for regular check out time. The location is convenient, the beds were super comfortable - but that was the only enjoyment from this hotel. "Always a good nights rest!"
Hilton has the absolutely best linens. Their beds are extremely comfortable and I have always been able to get a good nights rest. Nothing beats the warm cookies upon arrival. "Perfect location for our travels"
We loved the location and hotel. However, we had problems getting into the hotel and the desk clerk had to correct our cards. Check-in was PAINLESS - quick and as efficient as I've ever had during a check-in. Loved the cookies too! Room was in superb condition and actually quite roomy. External noise was minimal despite facing I270. Courtyard was cute, even though it was too chilly to sit out for too long. Check-out was a breeze too. I enjoyed staying at the Double Tree. It was close to OSU and very nice restaurants. Across the street from Winking Lizard. My only complaint is the noise. "Double dipped at Doubletree"
I made the reservation late one evening. This place was the closest with the best rate. Parking lot was spread out and very dark. Check-in and the cookie were fine. Room was ok, but not up to what I think are Doubletree standards. First dip was having to pay for internet service $7.95. Second dip is not even a continental breakfast. Wanted to sleep […] in a bit, but was awakened by housekeeping cleaning a room near mine a little before 8am. Got up, started the shower faucet, and was immediately greeted by a clump of red hair from the previous guest that was not previously cleaned from the drain by housekeeping. Very disappointing. When I booked the room I had to specify myself and 3 kids. 1st night we were only provided 3 towels. 2nd night we were only provided 2 towels. No refrigerator or microwave. Very nice place to stay. We generally stay in this area as it is very convenient. I had forgotten how nice this hotel is. Our room ended up being as far from the desk as possible, but close to parking.
