Bra läge intill Ku'damm samt nära till kommunikationer! Bra frukostbuffé! Ett mycket prisvärt hotell som vi rekommenderar! Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Det var bra. KAnske inte kan kräva mer från ett tre stjärningt hotell men det var bra! Nära till de dyra affärerna. Helt ok!

Läget var bra. Vi hade bokat två rökfria rum med separata sängar, men när vi checkade in så sa de i receptionen att det var ett specialönskemål som var omöjligt att boka. De ville att vi skulle betala extra för att få två sängar i stället för en säng á 140 cm för två personer. Vi fick stå på oss ordentligt, men till slut fick vi rätt sorts rum utan […] att behöva betala extra. Om man bokade första kvällen kostade frukosten betydligt mindre än annars per person och dag. Grand City Hotel Berlin Ku'Damm har ett mycket bra läge, bara en kort promenad från S-Bahnstationen vid Savignyplatz. Mycket prisvärt för en kortsemester. Den stora trädgården måste vara underbar sommartid. Trevlig personal i lobby och restaurang. Negativt: dålig belysning i rummet (en sänglampa och en skrivbordsdito, ingen allmänbelysning). Spenderade 3 nätter under Maraton helgen. Hade bokat ett dubbel med två separata sängar då jag skulle bo med en kompis. När vi kommer upp på rummet var det ganska stort men sängen var 140 cm vilket knappast rymmer två fullvuxna personer. När vi påpekade detta så blev vi erbjudna att uppgradera rummet till ett comfort rum för 10euro per natt. Detta comfort […] rum hade två 90 sängar men var mindre än vårt dubbelrum så det var rena rama bedrägeriet. Det var nästan stopp i avloppet till duschen och comfort rummet hade ingen garderob eller soffa vilket det ursprungliga hade. När vi påpekade att detta inte var någon uppgradering och att vi inte ville betala 30 euro extra för ett mindre rum så gick det inte att diskutera med personalen. När vi skulle parkera bilen i garaget var platserna så små att det lämpade sig för en liten trabant. Kunde parkera utan skador efter milimeters precision. Hade det inte varit för att vi betalat i förskott så hade vi gått någon annanstans. Återvänder aldrig mer hit. Läs mer

Specialerbjudande när vi bokade gjorde att det blev mycket billigt. Närheten till U-bahn och Kudamm ett plus. Rymliga rum likaså. I övrigt slitna och nedgångna rum, smal och ostabil säng, stopp i duschavloppet och ostädat rum. Det låg kvar godispapper och en gammal strumpa på rummet. Kommer inte att bo där igen.

They didn't honor their offer of a 20% discount on their breakfast price, on formalistic grounds. They had told me in a telephone conversation that we would get the discount but then we weeren't entitled since no record thereof had been made at the time of the check-in. This was a cheap hotel, and was well worth it. The location is a short walk away from the Terminal of the U1 Underground line, which links easily with the city, and also a bus stop. Maybe 300m walk to the bus stop/station, so not too far. There was a good supermarket very near, great for bottled water, bread etc for people holidaying on a budget. My only small gripe is the internet was VERY poor at the hotels terminal- I don't know about wi-fi, but the terminal was very slow, possibly faulty. The hotel has a sauna, but as that required 30mins advanced notice, and appeared to be locked when not in use, I didn't use that. Likewise I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Handily situated on Lietzenburger Str which runs parallel to The Ku'Damm. The hotel is much the same as a Travelodge or Premier Inn, no frills but clean, friendly and warm! We stayed for the first week in December and the temperatures were well below freezing yet our room was always warm enough to be sat in a t-shirt. The only downside is not having […] coffee making facilities. Easily remedied by taking your own travel kettle. There are plenty of super markets - Kaisers is just around the corner where you can buy tea, coffee and fresh milk - and lots of lovely chocolate. The Ka De We (Europe's largest department store) is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. The room had a small ante room which was used as a sitting room. We didn't use the restaurant for breakfast but when we investigated it looked lovely. For a cheap week in Berlin I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Läs mer

We never ate or drank at the hotel (12 euros for breakfast? I think not!) as there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The S Bahn is a 5 minute stroll, the U Bahn likewise. Main hotel areas were really nicely decorated, helpful staff and good atmosphere. Good position near to busy shopping street and restaurants and walking distance (quite a long walk) to all main attractions in Berlin. I would recommend that you walk down the road to get breakfast in one of the many cafes as they offer much wider range and better value […] than hotel breakfast. Rooms, although clean could have had better decoration and did not offer usual hotel things such as coffee/ complimentary toiletries. This hotel is in a superb location for sightseeing in this fabulous city. My room was fine - not luxurious - it is a 3 star hotel but the room served my purposes well and was kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. Similarly, the bathroom was absolutely fine too. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby and it is a three minute walk to the […] Ku'damm - one of the main shopping streets in Berlin. There is an underground station nearby and the hotel is only a fifteen minutes walk from Zoo Station - one of the main railway stations in Berlin. I will certainly return to this hotel as it is excellent value for money. It is located one block off the main shopping street of Berlin so you get a reasonably priced hotel in close proximity to much more expensive places. The rooms was dated and the bed small. Staff very helpful and multi-lingual and certainly made up for some of the more slightly disappointing aspects. Arrived a lot earlier than the 3pm check in, but the hotel do have a lock up luggage store so we didn't have to carry suitcases around for a few hours! I had traveled to Berlin with my 17 year old son so had requested a twin room which turned […] out to be a double bed in one small room and a bed settee in the other which wasn't particularly comfortable. No air conditioning meant having windows open whenever in the hotel. Fortunately we were overlooking the courtyard so it wasn't as bad as it might have been. I certainly wouldn't class the hotel as a 3 star property - nowhere near Premier Inn standard really but it was I suppose a budget hotel and as such I shouldn't be too uncomplimentary. We stayed at this hotel for one week near christmas time. Our room was great, in the 7th floor, nice view over the roofs and to two churches. Staff very helpfull, spoke good english too. Location about 100m from Uhlandstrasse U-bahn station. We really enjoy our trip!

A comfortable bed, plenty of space, clean ensuite with hairdryer, flat screen TV make this a real bargain so near the city centre. Just across the road and down a short street to Ku Damm. The hotel has great location, very quiet, in 5 minutes walking you can reach u-bahn station. Very comfortable room, people on desk very friendly. Tourist Note: if you want to visit de parlament, you have to registrer online few days in advance, we didn´t know this and couldn´t enter.

My usual Berlin hotel was not available so I booked this one for 3 nights, based exclusively on the location, availability and price at the time of booking. The location itself is close to the Kudamm (but not on it) within an area with a preponderence of kebab shops and other downmarket eateries. Staff were courteous and friendly but the breakfast was well overpriced for what was on offer, and with no bar area, this is not one I would recommend to other travellers. This hotel is a two minute walk from the nearest underground station, and a five minute walk from Ku'Damm. Excellent area with plenty of restaurants and bars in the location. Hotel is clean and the rooms are fine for the price.

The hotel was not on the main road of Ku'Damm but one road down on Lietzenburger Str There was a bottle of fizzy water left in the room on the first night but not replaced on subsequent nights. Neither was there tea/coffer making facilities. Great Hotel in very good location, we have stayed at better hotels, but for price and location its very hard to beat. We have stayed several times at this hotel with the previous owners, it is now getting a revamp and going from strength to strength. Every member of staff was pleasant and helpfull. We will be back for sure.

The hotel is conveniently located but rather tired and a bit run down. In temperatures of 35 degrees C air conditioning was essential. The only cool air came from the lfit shaft as the lift appraoches. Not somewhere you would relax in lounge areas . No coffee, tea or fridge in the rooms. Central west Berlin location. Rooms beginning to look like they need a touch-up of the decoration. With outside temperatures of +31 Deg C, air conditionong in rooms would have been appreciated. In summary, an excellent city centre location offering very good value for money.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Das Einzelzimmer ansich war sehr klein. Da ich es allerdings wirklich nur zum schlafen genutzt habe, war es für mich ausreichend. Das Fenster konnte zur Straße hin allerdings nachts durch den Verkehrslärm nicht offen bleiben. Insgesamt war ich Preis Leistungsverhältnis angenehm überrascht.

Dejligt ophold. Hotellet ligger centralt. God service. God morgenbuffet. Lille seng og meget meget blød. Hvis man selv er kørende i bil er der parkering i kælderen, men meget små pladser, det kan være lidt svært at parkere. Ikke sidste gang vi har været der.

Pænt, men en lille smule "slidt" hotel - godt til prisen :) Morgenmaden var rigtig fin, og den morgen vi skulle afsted, pakkede personalet en fin madpakke til vores tur hjem, da vi skulle meget tidligt afsted. Vi havde et af de mindste værrelser, men størrelsen kunne sagtens gå an til 4 dage. Sengen var lille, men det står jo i hotellets "profil". Jeg har kun pæne ting at sige: Rolig, men central beliggenhed, idet værelserne vender ud mod rolig gård. Rigtig fin morgenbuffet med venlig betjening, fine værelser (stor seng i enkeltmandsværelse), god rengøring, venlig reception, kvarter med mange spisemuligheder o.a.

Hvis man vil bo billigt og tæt på det hele er det et fint hotel. Dog skal man ikke købe deres internet, da det ikke virker på værelserne og så er det € 5,00 spildt, for de bliver ikke refunderet, da det koste en halv time, selvom man kun lige nåede at logge på inden nettet forsvandt igen.
