This was my 3rd time staying here to visit family at BU. The proximity is great. Shuttle is handy to have as an option. Fridge in room if you want to bring snacks and drinks. Employees have always been helpful. I've never had a problem. Only complaint is the crazy expensive parking but this is the case at most Boston hotels.

For his birthday, I took my boyfriend to a Redsox game and a night in Boston. We live in rural Vermont and can easily become overwhelmed by city traffic and one-way streets. Great view of the Charles River. Nice, clean room. The coffee in the lobby service was convenient and well kept. The staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet while we were there.

Great location. The room was very clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and very spacious work area. The staff was courteous and efficient.....very quick check-in and they also took care of calling a cab for us. Would definitely return to this hotel again!

My teenage daughter and I stayed here because it was midway between MIT and Harvard (college visits) and I have had nice stays at Courtyards on business trips. This one was below expectations. They also charged $32 a day for parking which was ridiculous even by Boston standards. We were over a mile to the nearest destination or subway. Complete rip […] off. The room was clean and very nice. 1 elevator was under maintenance but the other still wasn't too busy. Would have been better if breakfast had been included.

This hotel is currently undergoing renovations and while we were there one of their two elevators was out of order.....not convenient for a large hotel. Also, we were very surprised that the continental breakfast was an additional charge. Also, would advise guests to decline the shuttle service which is not complimentary but $5.00 per person and only […] takes you to places in the Cambridge area. We took a cab to the subway station at central square for under $5.00 for the two of us. Considering the renovations some form of compensation for the inconvenience would have been a very nice gesture. I often stay at Marriott hotels but was disappointed with this location. Läs mer

Staff was very nice...had a problem with cable in room on a couple channels so they comped my parking...Across the street from Charles River enjoyed walking path by Charles River...Trader Joes on same block and dunkin doughnuts within 4 blocks...I would stay there again currently remondeling and only one elevator in use!

Neat hotel located between Harverd and MIT. The facility was good, except the elevator ( one is broken, the other was VERY slow.) The service of Japanese restaurant was slow, too. Except them, it was a nice stay.

It would be very helpful if in the Hotels.com information it mentioned the quite expensive parking charge at this hotel. I probably would have made a different selection had I known.

I was first very disappointed that Hotels offered smoking rooms which I chose, even though I found out after arriving to Boston from NY that this was a non smoking hotel. Being on the 9th floor and there only being 1 working elevator it was a huge inconvenience going outside. Hotels.cOm should NOT have the option of smoking if the hotel does not have […] it. I would have at least searched hotels with balconys. The price was great, but I would of gladly paid extra for a smoking hotel and/or balcony. Läs mer

Elevator broke down - had to deal with eight flights of stairs. Front desk incredibly courteous about this and forgave parking fee. This kind of on the spot courtesy will make me stay at this hotel and at this chain again.

My stay was satisfactory but the elevators made the stay less than enjoyable at times. One elevator was completely out of service for the duration of my stay. The other elevator was unreliable and broke down twice with people trapped inside. We were staying on the 7th floor so walking up the stairs to our room was not pleasant after a long day.

The elevator was under renovation so there were countless times we had to use the stairs. This condition was never mentioned to us nor hotel staff was considerate enough to put us in lower floors. We stayed in 6th floor so we take 5 flights to reach our room.

I thought the hotel's quality was good overall. The people were friendly and helpful. I was only there for one night. My only complaint is that I was cold overnight, without a thermostat or comforter/blanket. The only covering on my bed besides the sheets was a "comforter" that consisted of two pieces of material with no contents. It was great. I use this hotel repeatedly when visiting my family in Boston (twice a month). 10 min walk into Boston and super close to Harvard Square. Front desk staff is always friendly.

This hotel was good, but really nothing to write home about. When booking the hotel I read so many reviews about how it was close (within walking distance) to a t-stop. Yes, this is true, but the walking distance is about a mile and I couldn't carry my luggage that far so we had to take a cab. Luckily they do have a convenient service offered where […] a van will take you or pick you up from certain locations for $5 a day. Their location is not incredibly ideal, as we had to walk long distances or take the van service to get where we needed to go (we didn't have a car). Lastly, we arrived to our room smelling overwhelmingly like someone had just smoked a whole pack of cigarettes. Only one elevator was working not problem for me I used the stairs instead waiting for a very slow one got some exercise at the same time up and down to 7th floor. What a terrible room and experience. Oh where do I start. First off they are under construction so for all 16 floors and two big parties being held there they only had one elevator running which meant as much as a 15 min wait. Secondly the room was so small you couldn't open the closet or the bathroom or the front door together. You literally had to […] close any one to open to open any other. Thirdly the ice maker on our floor was out of order so you had to go to the next floor for ice. But th stairways lock and only open into the stairway.
