Overall, it wasn't bad, wasn't great. The worst thing was the rollaway cot - the mattress was very poor quality. The pool was nice.

I stayed in a smoking room ( I am a smoker) . The room had a slight smell but not too bad . I read about a smell in the reviews and brought some Fabrize. Friendly staff ,indoor pool , and close to all of the things to do in the area. Close to the highway. I would go here again for sure.

When walking in the the inn you get hit with a musty smell and then going into the room even though the room is clean it has a sweaty smell when going to bed. I don't think I'll be staying at this inn again

This was my first time staying at Quality Inn. It was definitely worth the money. I didn't hear any noise in the other rooms. The room was pretty clean and I was pleasantly surprised. The other issue I had was that the room did have an odor to it. It wasn't overbearing though.

We were with our teenage kids who went to see a concert at Mohegan Sun, so wanted something cheap but close to the casino. This was perfect. We were able to get two rooms, both of which were clean and for what we paid, quite nice. There is an indoor pool that the kids like. The beds were comfortable. The shower was fabulous. My family and I stayed one night at the hotel as we were seeing a concert at Mohegan Sun and didn't want to have a 3-hour drive home afterwards. The hotel was conveniently located off the highway. It was about a 15 minute drive to/from Mohegan Sun. The hotel had a pleasant appearance. Nothing fancy, but clean! The woman who checked us in was very helpful […] and recommended the 99 Restaurant right down the road for dinner. (Good place! Applebees style restaurant. Good food and service). Our room was very clean and smelled fresh. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom functioned properly. Plenty of hot water! In the morning, the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast which was very nice. Clean eating area. My boys enjoyed the fresh waffle maker! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and a great affordable alternative to Mohegan Sun's room prices. We will definitely be back! Läs mer

I was hesitant about booking a smoking room, but it was cleaner than expected. Bed was comfortable enough, plenty of towels. No complaints. Would stay again. The receptionist was quite pleasant and had a great sense of humor.

the hotel was almost perfect. the room was almost perfectly clean accept for the dust kiddies under the dresser. some of the walls in the common area could use a touch up paint job.

Overall good. The only disapointment was the staleness odor of the room when I first stepped into the room. I though about going back to the front desk and request a different room, but I thought I'll get used to it eventually. Maybe the use of a room freshner would do a lot of good?

Great value, very good breakfast. We stayed here for a trip to Mohegan Sun and it was quick and very easy to get there. We will definitely be staying here again.

We were only there one night and to sleep. We saw a show @ Foxwoods and like the price of Quality Inn. The location from Foxwoods isn't the most convenient but not a big deal...Checking in was painless. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and efficient. The room itself was clean enough. It did have a slightly weird odor though. The bed was comfortable […] enough. The room was extremely dry though and we both woke in the middle of the night for water and chapstick. Paid $79.99 for my hotel stay forgone night and I got what I paid for. Pool was 5 feet deep and the service was okay but could have been better. If your just going to the area for one night then I would say that this is the hotel for you. Hotel is nicely priced for a quick 2-3 day stay. Slightly dated but comfortable bed and fairly large room. Breakfast was adequate for any individual needs. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Fitness room was very small with limited equipment.

We stayed one night to go to mohegan sun and it was perfect. Rooms are out dated but that was expected. No issues with surrounding area. No evidence of any bed bugs. Perfect for a quick stay at the right price.

Mohegan Sun wanted $660 for a Saturday night. Comfort Inn was $80. Enough Said! Clean comfortable and about 20 minutes from casino.

My biggest concern was that we had to walk outside to get to the pool. None of the other reviews mentioned this. It would have been nice to know since we went in January. We specifically wanted a hotel with an indoor pool. But the price was right for our needs.

Good, basic room. Room generally clean and well-kept, except for hairs on pillowcases. Mattress comfortable and free wi-fi helpful for business. If you're looking for a no-frills place to rest up and clean up while in Groton, this place is acceptable.

The hotel was a standard older style 2 story motel but it was convenient to where we needed to be and at least had power! The room was standard - did like the down comforter - and the pool was warm and clean. Had decent hotel style breakfast with make your own waffles, etc. We were able to get warm, have our grandkids joins us for some fun in the pool […] . 99 - a restaurant was within walking distance so ate dinner there both nights. Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good and had large variety of food. Hotel was very close to Submarine Base which was perfect for us to see our son. The outside of hotel could use a little sprucing up. It was a good value for the price of the room

This hotel had very pleasant people working that were very pleasant and eager to help. Bed was clean and very comforable. I suggest that they strongly need a new carpet. The room had a urine smell when we walked in. Spraying air freshener does not get rid of urine smell it just adds a flowery smell to urine.

Rooms were of decent size, bed a little small for liking...not in the best area ...check in was slow stood at counter for almost 15 minutes. but friendly staff tried to bring light to the old omputer system used
