Vi tog Floridays två nätter direkt efter flygningen från Europa. Hotellet ligger långt ifrån I-drives utbud o bil är att rekommendera. Frukosten på hotellet var dyr, vi fick vänta på den och serverades i engångsartiklar. Har man bil o fixar maten på annat håll så är det perfekt. De roliga vattensprutarna vid poolen ger en hög ljud nivå. För familjer ett bra ställe annars inte.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.Resort Airline Check-In Service allows guests to check luggage and receive boarding passes at the hotel. This service accepts one bag per passenger on JetBlue. "Saratoga resort in January 2013"
Saratoga is a very large resort spread out over many acres. This can be inconvenient as you always need a car or rely on the Disney Transport system. It is close to Disney downtown and in the warmer months would be a pleasant stroll but in January 2013 winter it was too cold. Heated pool near our room in the Congress Park part of the resort was excellent. […] Disney Transport worked well and we tried it versus taking our rental car to the parks. For example going to Magic Kingdom Disney drop you right at the entrance whereas driving yourself means you go to the carpark, have to then hop on the shuttle which then takes you to the monorail and you get to the entrance on the monorail. "Good Disney hotel for seeing all the parks"
Overall we had a great time at the Saratoga hotel, here is more detail: We (me, wife & 21month toddler) stayed at the Saratoga for one week, having stayed at the Sheraton Vistana the week before. THe Disney hotel was twice the price of the sheraton so we had high expectations. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and well kitted […] out. We drove to the parks most days but you can get a free bus, we tried it once and it worked well but we preferred taking all our baby stuff in the car! When we checked in the room we were given had a soaking wet carpet, we phoned down to get moved to a new room, they seemed a bit reluctant at first but soon sorted it out. My main complaint is that the pools are not heated, or if they are not very warm, our toddler found the pools too cold to use (the Sheraton ones were heated to 28C). The resort information says there are two playgrounds on site but we couldnt find them, although we were out most days so not a big issue. The flexibility of using your room card to pay for anything in the parks is good. Overall very enjoyable, but worth twice the price of the sheraton? Not sure. Läs merVerifierad gästrecension

I don't know what to say further, other then every part of our Disney Saratoga Springs experience was faultless. The room was fabulous and completely comfortable for a family of 6, transportation to the parks was easy, and everyone one of the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. Saratoga Springs is beautiful, with everything maintained immaculately. […] Perhaps the one negative is the limited choice of eating options in the hotel itself, and whilst it is only a short trip to Downtown Disney this is not always the best option when you have a bunch of hungry kids needing food after a long day at the parks. We encountered wait times of over 1hr when trying to get a table, and this was apparently in a quiet period! We quickly learned to get in early so as not to endure lengthy waits. "Saratoga Springs not worth the money!!!"
PLEASE READ. I was misled by all the good reviews on hotels.com so booked here for yearly family vacation from July 4th to 9th. The resort was like a large apartment complex, our unit had 2bdrm, 2bth, a small living area and a small kitchen area. Very small living area, feels cramped when all 8people are there. TVs had such poor reception that only […] 2 channels worked. 4 pools on property but we had to drive to them because our room was on the periphery. Housekeeping was great. THE MAIN REASON I booked at a Disney is the convience of Disney's shuttle bus, which ended up being the BIGGEST dissappointment of all. Everyday we had to wait around 45minutes to get on a bus to go to the Parks. Then on the way back it would be another 45minute wait. The last night there we had to wait 75min to return from Magic Kindom. Got back at 2am, called the front desk and requested late checkout. Was told that Saratoga is one of the Disney Vacation Club property, so there is no late checkout. Curbside check-in at the resort for our flight was helpful. So to sum it up, the rooms are serviceable but expensive. Bus transportation was horrible. Resort property was nice and clean. Maid service was spectacular. Front desk not helpful. Curbside airline check-in available. Didn't use airport shuttle or ate at the resort, so can't comment. I would not stay at Saratoga again. "Nice room but not much else to recommend"
Room itself was actually a mini suite and very spacious with all amenities. Main issue was that it was truly in the "back 40" of the campus and remote from the main lodge. Also, the pools were extremely crowded and not accessible, tons of people. All in all we preferred the Port Orleans Riverside where we stayed last time, or possibly Animal Kingdom […] main lodge. "Enjoyed our stay"
The atmosphere was great and staff very helpful and friendly. The main building, pool areas and the grounds were imaculate. The room was very nice, but if you walked in your socks on the rug they were totally black on the bottom. Also, I don't know how or what they used to clean the ceramic floor, but the floor was always sticky from cleaning residue. […] We were in a one bedroom villa. The bed was great, but the pull-out couch was very, very uncomfortalbe to sleep on (and also to sit on). "SLIGHTLY disappointing"
This was our second stay at Saratoga Springs with an interval of 4/5 years between visits. We were slightly disappointed this time as many features seem to have disappeared from our previous visit. Our apartments (a 1 bedroom villa with an interconnecting studio) was a little bit tired. We kept receiving conflicting information from staff.......we […] were told there was NO laundry service and it took three goes to ascertain the correct facts. Previously laundry was delivered back to your room and purchases made anywhere in Disney World would be found delivered back to your room. Not this time...... you have to make a trip to guest services to pick these things up yourselves......little things that all add up to make your visit less enjoyable. Also, we also stayed at a lovely Marriott apartment and there was a folder containing all the information about services at the complex......at the Saratoga Springs one had to phone the front desk which led to lots of confusing information as not all staff knew about the services provided. "nice hotel & nice location"
Great hotel. Conveniently located to Downtown Disney. I liked that you get more outside time in this resort compared to the other mega-hotels. You walk the same distance as you would with other Disney hotels but with Saratoga, you walk out in the fresh air, not through big conference halls and ballrooms. "Suites with lots of room!"
Large family suites with room for everyone! The kitchen was an awesome asset to help keep down some of the food costs. Full-size fridge and on-site market allow guests to keep snacks and drinks on hand. Housekeeping cleaned the dishes I had left for later - excellent unexpected surprise!! Overall enjoyed staying at Saratoga Springs! Only negative was […] that we are not Disney Vacation Club members so some of the kids' activities cost money. "Saratoga Springs Resort (January 2012)"
The property is gorgeous! My friends and I stayed in a 1 bedroom villa for a week. The place was spacious and had numerous amenities (washer/dryer, balcony, kitchenette, jacuzzi hot tub). The only thing I can possibly complain about was the likelihood of dust in the curtains. I have allergies and I would open the curtains every morning and start sneezing. […] The resort staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I arrived before 8am on the Magical Express Bus and the front desk was very quick in getting me my room. It was apparent I had come in on a red eye and was in need of a nap. The resort is the closest to WDW, within walking distance or ferry distance. The resort is family friendly, but for those, like myself, who don't want to ride in a packed bus with lots of kids (value resort hotels), then the Saratoga Springs Resort is for you. Minimal kids, sitting room on the bus, relaxing and quiet atmosphere, and romantic if need be. I wish I had more time to explore the entire property and make use of their spa. My family of five just returned from Disney's Saratoga Springs. We have 3 children. The property is sprawling and reminded me of an apartment community. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa in Congress Park. Great location to Downtown Disney (walking distance) and very easy to walk to bus pick up location. Our room was perfect for the size of our family and […] offered my husband privacy having our own bedroom. Just from our bus rides, I noticed that Congress Park, the Paddock, Carosaul, and the Springs were the most convenient locations. Great pools, especially the pool at the Paddock. It offered a great water slide, activities for children and families, as well as a separate area for those children under 46 inches. The kitchen was great. We had purchased snacks, drinks, and cereal which was great in terms of saving some money on breakfast. Also had a stove, microwave and dishwasher. We did utilize the washer and dryer as well. "Wonderful facility"
This was our first trip back to the Magic Kingdom in 20 years so when we were planning our trip it was difficult so really get a feel for each of the resorts from just the pictures and descriptions. I must say that we were very satisfied with our choice. We stayed in a Saratoga Springs two bedroom Villa and ended up in the Paddock building. This areas […] had its own pool and small food area which was very beautiful and a nice offering so we did not have to go all the way back to the main area to swim and eat if we did not wish to. The entire property was beautiful and well maintained. The transportation areas were well placed with ample shuttles. The food was good all though typical Disney over pricing was in place. The room it self offered a main living area with full kitchen and double sleeper sofa also two chairs and a bar seating area. The master with a King bed, full tub and separate shower. the second bedroom had two queens (yes actually queens) with its own tub/shower and a separate double sink area. We stayed here with a party of 5 adults and 3 kids and we all had our own space and were very comfortable. If your looking for over the top Disney this is not the place for you. While it was a Disney property there were only suttle hints of Disney charm rather than characters and logos everywhere. "Quiet and Comfy"
The hotel itself was very quiet and comfy. Conveniently located next to Downtown Disney with regular shuttle service. The food was ok at the Artist's Palette, nothing great, but good enough for quick service. My only complaint would be the assistance of the front desk staff. I had a large budget to spend on as many trips and tours I could get my hands […] on. They simply told me the website or phone number and sent me on my way instead of helping me book any of it. Would have been nice for a little service in that regard. One night, exhausted, we decided to stay in. They had movies and board games to rent, ordered in pizza from another resort and just relaxed. "Good hotel but very spread out"
We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa and the room was a great size with a full kitchen and we had everything we could need. The hotel staff was very friendly and room was clean and very comfortable. The pools are fabulous and set up for young children which was perfect since we have a 3 year old and a 22 month old. The food at Artists Palet isn't the greatest. […] Last year we staed at the Animal Kingdom lodge which has excellent restaurants and fabulous breakfast buffet something similar at Sartoga would be nice, especially given how big the resort is. Downtown Disney is a very short bus ride away so we chose to make our own breakfasts and eat our other meals at downtown Disney which has some amazing restaurants. Our only only issue was that the resort is soo big and spreadout that nothing is really close to you. As such you need to walk a fair ways to the pool or the gift shop etc... There is nothing they could do to change this, you eitehr are ok with it or not. Overall it was not a big issue for us but it would be for people with less mobility. Despite these 2 small issues, our overall review of this resort is that it is a great place and with the deal we got on expedia the price was more than half of similar suites in other resorts such as the Animal Kingdom lodge. The Saratoga was a great place to stay. We stayed in a two bedroom villa - tons of room for a family of 5. The only drawback was the distance our building was away from both pools and the Main Front Desk Building. Disney's Saratoga Springs is a beautiful facility. Through Expedia, I lucked into it as I planned the trip of a lifetime for my kids. The room was well furnished--all four of us slept quite comfortably. The kitchenette made it possible for me to cut expenses by preparing several meals right there in the room. The hotel offers a guest laundry, a very […] good cafeteria, and excellent recreational facilities. Disney's staff takes customer service to another level. We were taken care of. And, if you are spending your time at the Disney theme parks, your transportation is completely taken care of by a more than adequate--and FREE--bus service. We also visited Universal Studios while we were there. We discovered that it was both more convenient and cheaper to take a cab rather than the independent/ for profit shuttle bus. "cool hotel"

Check in was fast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Used the Disney transportation system to access all parks. Never waited more than 5-10 minutes for a bus.
