we booked 2 rooms at this hotel during Easter weekend time 2012. I was completely satisfied with the customer service I received from the doorman to the receptionist. Everything was clean and acceptable from the lobby perspective. however, once I walked into our single full size bedroom I realized how small the room was. i guess for the price i paid […] i should have expected it. Even with a discounted price, it was too much for an old walk-in closet size room. Could not recommend to a friend.

Rooms in New York are never a value for the price but this very samll room was far below the three and half star rating as advertised. I was given a room on the forth floor beside a hugh A/C blower which came on loadly every half hour. Since I was tired from only four hours sleep the night before and an early morning flight I went straight to bed. I […] was awaked repeatedly by the blower. This was the third time I stayed in this hotel in the last two months. It is reasonably priced for my business trips. The last two times I visited, the hotel staff "upgraded" my room. I would have liked more desk space for my laptop and printer but, the accomodations were sufficient. I chose this hotel because it was a 5 minute walk to the office where […] I met clients. This hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance to 5th Avenue and Grand Central Station. Expect to pay an additional charge if you want access to the int Ernest.

This is a great hotel. The service was very considerate and upgraded my room based on their excess availability and because my room wasn't ready when I arrived to check-in, even though I arrived hours before scheduled check-in time. The quality of the room was very clean and modern. The only drawback is that the wifi is relatively expensive.

This hotel was in a neighborhood of hotels in Midtown. It is within one block of 5 other hotels, so this is a very busy tourist area in midtown. Liked: Great location; 3 blocks from 6 train, 4 blocks from Grand Central and 4,5,6 S, 7 and Metro North trains. Staff was great, room was 140 sq feet, but comfortable and you get to control the temperature […] through the thermostat, a huge plus for me. Disliked: Not much. Pretty good experience. My colleagues and I were very satisfied with our stay for the most part but the internet hindered our ability to get some work done. A very important presentation took hours to upload. It was problematic. Otherwise, we were happy with the convenience for our meetings, cleanliness, service, sushi, and more. On our last day we were accosted in the hallway outside our room by two maids yelling at us saying "You are nasty people, nasty nasty. You have no respect" because there was trash on the floor in our room. It was nothing that was a big deal and our room wasn't cleaned for 4 days prior. A representative at the hotel told us that the maids could not […] be disciplined in any way because they are union workers. So I guess that means the maids can do ANYTHING. They can steal my things or be rude because since they are union workers there are no consequences. I am not comfortable in a hotel that allows employees to have no consequence for their actions. I am on the road about 90 days per year and have NEVER been treated this way in a hotel. I spoke with the general manager of the hotel and he was nice and apologized, but there is still no excuse for any hotel employee to act the way they did. Läs mer

We got this room very last minute (the day of) and got a spectacular deal. We signed up for a "petite double" room (my husband and I are pretty small people...so we don't mind the close space), but when he went to check in he requested an upgrade. We got one free of charge. The room was on the 28th floor (you have to take 2 elevators) and was still […] very small, but everything you could need. It had a lovely bathroom, and a small pop-out window that we kept open all night. Minimal noise because we were so high up. I'm used to European hotels, and this room really had that feel (with a bigger bathroom). We loved every second we were there. Lexington Ave. is a great spot to be in. Small bed for 2 people. Old hotel. Rude people in reception at night - some have problems with english accent. TV was broken and took 10 minutes each time to turn on - they did not repair or change it. Low quality for the price

I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very comfortable and in a very good location. I personally chose the petite room and it was way more than I was expecting.It was clean and with everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and I will be back as soon as possible.

we were on the 6th floor. unfortunately noise from other guests at 3 AM and outside noise at the same time was very disturbing

I found the hotel a good value for mid-town. Rooms were functional and clean. The hotel could use a make-over to raise the rating. Location is excellent.

It is close to most sights. Good location, but the room is tiny for the price. Staff not helpful, infact when I check out, I left my luggage at the concierge where they charge me USD10 per luggage for storage for a few hours while waiting for the taxi pick-up to the airport.

Room was very small. Did not get towels. Smelled cigarette smoke in the vents. I have asthma. When I asked, the security said it was non smoking. Went to get ice on fifth and smelled smoke. Asked again and was told fifth floor was smoking. Smoke in pillows cases etc. Stayed on sixth floor. Not enough room to have a suitcase out to get stuff. The Hotel was very good for my one night stay. I selected one of the smaller rooms and it was perfect for one to two people. Everything was clean and the location was good. It was a little loud with the window open, but it is Manhattan and i'm sure each room may be different.

Great front office staff

The Radisson Hotel in NYC is centrally located and I stayed there several times. The staff is friendly and tries to accomodate all ones requests. For my purposes, staying in the Radisson is always the place I look for first. I reccomend the hotel but one has to specify what kind of bed you want and that requires a phone call. Very comfortable hotel, I spent one week there. So comfortable and close to all atractions. Friendly people at front desk. Very recommended.

The oner person mini rooms are very good value, but do not bring much luggage as there is no where to put it.

Very central location with good service all around, the junior suite i stayed in was quite well equipped and furnished.

I chose the Radisson Lexington for a quick weekend in Manhattan, as I got a good last minute deal and the location was ideal, just a short walk away from Grand Central Station. As I was staying alone, the small room did not bother me, it contained all I needed. The bathroom had some wallpaper that was starting to peel and a loose towel rack. The bedroom […] was nicely decorated, but also started to show signs of wear. The thing that bothered me was the noise, in two places. I was on the fourth floor, at level with some kind of ventilation system just outside the window. This ventilation was making a dull but constant noise every few minutes. The second source (and most surprising) was that a night club was located nearby. As I visited the lobby for free wi-fi, friday and saturday night, it litteraly shook from the noise. And still at the fourth floor, I heard the base thump until a long time into the night. So, if you simply need a room and are not a light sleeper, this hotel is fine. If you are looking for a more comfortable stay, I would go for a more expensive room in the hotel, or a different hotel. Läs mer

The my second time staying at the Redisson on lexington ave. I happy with this hotel & that is why my friend and I came back for the second time. Our room 333 was way too small for 2 ladies. The location is just perfect for us. Having the eating restaurants, club downstairs made our travel more enjoyable. However, the front desk staff might need more […] training when it comes to service. The phone rang too many times & I had to call twice to get somebody. I had no real complaints about my 2-night stay - had a comfy clean small room - EXCEPT for the roar of the water going through pipes behing thin walls! This probably wouldn't bother a sound sleeper, and maybe not all rooms are adjacent to the rushing water... but it was startling. We stayed on the 5th floor and the bass from the nightclub at the base of the hotel was VERY loud at 1am. There were other hotel guests complaining about the noise at the front desk. Finally they moved us to a higher floor where the noise was not noticeable. As long as "Club New York" is on the premises, I will not be staying there again. I actually changed hotels because the accomodations where not what I had asked for but they said they would refund. However, Hotels.com has not refunded me yet even though the hotel assures me the money has been returned. The hotel was very nice about it and I did recommend it for my sister who ended up having a great room. This hotel is quite convenient to Grand Central station (but in a nicer area) and is also close to many good restaurants. The rooms are small, but well appointed- my tiny room had a large screen tv, a desk, and a marble bathroom. It was perfect for me because I wanted a nice, clean space to rest in while in NY. The downside? The ice machine area was […] a mess, with broken ceiling tiles leaning against the wall, and dirt and dust on the floor. My ice cubes had small black flecks in them, and one large black chunk of I'm not sure what. Ick! I tossed the cubes and let the front desk know about the situation.
