Jätte mysigt hotellområde med pool, bubbelpool och solstolar precis bredvid vattnet. Hotellrummen är inte de modernaste men cubanskt charmiga! Bra service av de anställda och rena rum. Vi blev positivt överraskade av hotellets atmosfär och återvänder gärna!

SE UPP!!! Jag bokade ett standardrum och när jag skulle checka in hade jag bokats in i sovsal. Efter 2 timmars argumenterande kontaktade hotellets chef hotels dot com och de korrigerade misstaget. "Ok Value for money"
The hotel had a nice location. Only a block away from the beach. You had easy access to buses going to miamibeach/downtown. Only thing i didnt like was the breakfast. We choosed this place before another cause breakfast was included. Easier that way when you travel with a 2 year old kid.They only offered muffins, croissants, fruitmix, coffee and juice. Rummet ar över förväntan. eftersom det är ett hostell så tycker jag att rummet överträffade mina förväntningar. Frukosten som ingick bestod av mini muffisar jucie, kaffe, te, fruktcoctail och 2 av 3 morgon crossanter. kändes lite tunnt. No kitchen, no restaurant, small breakfast and really bad breakfast service - runs out of everything 30 min before closing! Rooms are fresh and good cleaning service. "Very friendly clean hostel"
Very clean hostel with great, friendly staff who organize events from bbqs to yoga on the beach everyday. Very safe , lockers are big enough to take entire hiking rucksacks, and right on the beach ! "Great little hip place"
I absolutely fell in live with this place. It's super cute and hip. Love the patio and the rooms. Liked the fact that they had ping pong tables out on the patio along with many boardgames. The hostel was surprisingly very nice and even luxury with very nice pool and bar. At night turns to be great party there. Everything is enough clean. It is more oriented for the young people and fun. At night could be noisy because of the bar. I had stayed in another hostel, further south, in miami beach, and heard about freehand from a guest there and decided to check it out my last day and a half there. first off, the staff were quite rude and disrespectful toward me as I was checking in, and much of the time I stayed. I stayed in an eight bed mixed dorm room with two full bathrooms, both […] poorly cleaned, and one having a very stopped up shower. the area of the beach is nice, but there isn't much else close by. you have to go far for groceries, laundry, nightlife, etc.. and to make matters worse the staff aren't very helpful when you need help finding something. stay somewhere else. "Very nice for a hostel"
Overall the place was nice, the guests were all very cool, the breakfast was good. I stayed 3 nights as I was in town for work and not partying I did have a few issues: The reception didn't inform me that the patio below my window was rented out for a party - would have been fine but they didn't stop music and yelling until 4:30am and I had to work […] the next day. The reception wasn't to sensitive to the matter - "there's nothing we can do about it" was the response. I had been in a 4 female share for 2 nights, when I changed rooms for the last night (do to full bookings) to the street side ( quieter away from the bar) by the time I got in it was too late when I realized they put me in a 4 share male - surprise. Excellent place to stay for a weekend trip. Relaxed, fun atmosphere. Convenient location, near bus stops and close to South beach but not all up in the crazy mix, quiet neighborhood. This place was awesome. Very friendly staff, about a 15 minute walk down the beach to Southbeach and the best bar I found around is the one right downstaris from your room. It is a Hostel so expect to share a room with strangers unless you bring a group of 5 or more. Nice pool area as well. The Freehand Miami Hostel is a fantastic place to stay. In the immediate vicinity, you're close to a convenience store, a few tasty restaurants, and most of all the beach. The beds are surprisingly comfortable and they have room cleaning service whom will clean up, sweep and restock your toiletries. The staff at the front desk are great and always helpful […] when you have any issues or questions. The hotel offers a pool, ping pong tables, plenty of lounging room and a Bar. In addition, they offer coffee,OJ and delicious muffins in the morning, as well food services on certain days. The hotel is conveniently located within a few minutes walk to the beach, but may require a taxi if you're planning to frequent the Night clubs or any major outlet mall. "Walking Distance to Ocean Drive"
The hotel (hostal) is not cater to families. We did not know that until we got there. It was full of young european crowds coming to America back packing. Nothing wrong with that, it was kind of cool for a young and "cool" parents like us, lol. But if you dislike a crowded little lobby, you won't like it. It is like a trendy place at night and the pool […] area was crowded with party animals until 3:00 am. My family was so tired that we slep throug the noise. But honestly it was a little anoying. The music & party sounded like it was inside our room. The room is a quadruple room, meaning 2 bunkbeds. My kids loved it!! But for me and my wife was a little awkward. Anyways, for the price and one night rest it was great. Close to everything, and very clean. My wife is sick & phsyco with cleaningless, and this place passed the proof. "Nicest hostel I've ever stayed in"
The Freehand is a relatively new hostel with a gorgeous outdoor pool, a courtyard restaurant and bar, and very reasonable rates for 4-bunk and 8-bunk rooms. I was there the week before Christmas and only had one other person in my room the entire time. Each room has a bathroom with shower in it and lockers (bring your own lock or buy one at the desk). […] It's a bit of a walk (3/4-1 mile) to the south beach stuff but I didn't mind it and if you stay in hostels you probably wont either (it's a safe walk even at night). "great low budget for friends, family, solo travel."
My first in a setting where i had to share the room with other people. I had to upgrade from an 8-dorm to a quad for more privacy and only had 3 other guys in the room. On last day a girl moved in and i found out the room was a mixed. Even tho the difference i found price on Expedia was only $3 i ended up paying $28 for the upgrade but didn't mind. […] The other guys were nice and we immediately be are friends, went out to clubs and made plans for the remainder of our stay. Nice area at the pool, many visitors were coming as the place seems to be one of the coolest in Miami. I also appreciate the complimentary breakfast and the lockers in the rooms even tho the lock was an extra $5. Overall i liked the place and will stay there again. Very accessible to many buses and the beach is only a few yards away from the hotel. This place is a nice low budget perfect for students, friends, families or solo travelers looking for a nice spot to crush in Miami. Lowest fare in town. I liked it. "Great experience and will return"
Loved the experience, first time in a Hostel, rooms were cleaned, bedding was new, sheets were white and crisp, bathroom was clean and had toiletries provided by Hostel. Don't forget your washcloths as I only found that I was provided a bath towel. Lockers provided in the room plenty of space to hold valuables but not a suitcase, don't forget your lock. […] Each room as a card key and is only provided to those that are staying in the room. Breakfast was a little scare, so if your hungry get downstairs early as breakfast is 8-10 and it was gone when I arrived. The Hostel is very loud at night, it is very difficult to sleep with the windows open you hear the people outside, inside the Hostel sounds like a party going on all the time, so bring earplugs or join the party. In the rear of the property is a private pool, ping pong tables, seating area surrounded by trees and tropical plantings as well as a bar. Very comfortable and perfect for lounging. The inside lobby area provides a Bohemia themed room with candles burning and pillows everywhere with furnishings from cost plus, pier one import look.
