Snyggt hotell med fin service. Fantastisk frukost. Har en del renoverade rum och en del icke renoverade rum. Ingen parkering i direkt anslutning till hotellet, men vid vistelse får man bättre pris på ett näraliggande parkeringshus.

Frukosten var bättre än på många andra hotell.

Mkt bra hotel som ligger centralt. Fantastisk frukost- mer som en brunch!! Rummen något trånga och smala sängar men OK! Rent och fräscht! Men bytte handdukar fast vi inte lagt dem på golvet! Inte bra för miljön! Bor nog där igen vid nästa besök i Bergen! Bokningen med Hotels.com fungerade mkt smidigt!

Fint läge. Vacker stad. Bästa hotellfrukostbuffé jag kan minnas att jag ätit. Tevlig tillmötesgående personal. Att 1:a majvädret var perfekt och staden badade i solljus gjorde helgen till en succé. Rekommenderar både hotell och stad.

(-) Very small single rooms. Ask for refurbished room or you may get an old, dark & depressive one ( as it happened to me 1st). A big problem if you don't carry a laptop is that you must pay to use their only ONE stationary computer (alot Euros/hr ... can't specify the price, according to rules of this site)!!! Unblieveable but that's how Norway is; […] Everything is expensive & comes at very smal quantity. One hope that they realize, free internet is part of a guest service & using IT today costs almost nothing in a modern Hi-Tech country! (+) Very good Breakfast, no doubt. Helpful Staffs. The hotel is at the heart of everything, the train station, the old town and most of the attractions. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with huge selections of Scandinavian dishes, cold cuts and wonderful egg station.

Very good hotel in a very convenient location for both the railway/bus stations and the city centre/Fish Market. Breakfast is exceptional.

Everything about this place was great. One surprise was the the single rooms were very very small. That said they were totally fine, comfortable and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were worth their weight in gold. Outstanding way to start the day and a great place to stay in Bergen

Location- walking to train or ferry. Not on the cute water front area, but close enough Breakfast- excellent, but you will smell like fried eggs when you leave :) Room-Large and comfortable, but a bit old

I was originally given a very small and dark single even though I had booked a superior room. The staff were got about changing to a nicer room but still two singles and not a double even though I had booked single occupancy. Room didn't seem clean tv reception bad and I woke up with bites all up my arms. I was given room 325 which ovelooked the backyard and a very noisy generator that went off and on all night, i hardly sleep at all.

This hotel was very conveniently located. The breakfast was great! The room we got was minature, which was fine for us because we didn't spend a lot of time in it. Unfortunately, the bathroom was also very small and the shower was connected to the rest of the bathroom so that water flowing out of the shower into the rest of the bathroom was inevitable. […] All of these minor problems could have been overlooked, HOWEVER, the noise at night was unbearable. We stayed in Bergen on night on a Sunday, no less, and at approximately 1:00am music began to blare out so loudly that there was no way to sleep through it. I called the front desk because I wasn't sure if it was coming from another guest's room or where and the guy who answered the phone said that it was coming from the bar next door and that they would close at approximately 2:30am (turned out not to close until after 3am) and that there was nothing he could do about it because it wasn't part of the hotel. I asked if there was a quieter room somewhere else and he said "no". I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel since no quiet rooms exist and it was impossible to sleep through the music/noise from the bar. Trusted TripAdvisor in choice of a place to stay in Bergen and was happy I did! The hotel provided excellent service. We arrived very late and but the lobby was busy. Fast check in and we were in the our room, which, as the whole hotel, recently renovated. The breakfast was great! Try smoothies, "morning dews" and fruit mix which are truly special (though […] not to everybody's taste). The staff at the reception was helpful and answered all our questions. The airport bus stops in 20 meters of the hotels and all Bergen attractions are in easy reach as the hotel is located right in the town centre. Booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor, and were very satisfied. Great location, close to central parks, ferries and train station, although a little far to haul big suitcases. Great European breakfast. Only downside, very small rooms, but clean and adequate.

Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast superb, room was small with double bed against the wall and noise from street at 3 am when local bar emptied out.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was located conveniently near the railway station and to the centre of town. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, richly deserving of its award. Would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to others.

The room was very compact, but nicely designed, and the bathroom was great - wonderful shower. The breakfast was absolutely lavish - a smorgasbord with the most variety of any of the hotels we stayed in in Norway. We really enjoyed our stay at the Scandic. It is attached to the train station which was perfect for taking the airport express from the airport, and for our early train to Bergen. By the way, if you are going to Norway, you should be taking a train to Flam or Bergen because the countryside is too spectacular to be missed (google 'Norway in a Nutshell'). […] Upon returning from our 2 days in the breath taking fjords of Norway, we stayed again at the Scandic. We had a nice, pleasant stroll around Oslo and to the waterfront. We took the very convenient tram back up to the hotel, which worked out perfectly again as the tram stops right at the hotel. There were some people 'hanging around' outside the train station in the evening, but it wasn't anything that caused us to feel unsafe, and it didn't generate noise or any issues with our getting into/out of the hotel. About what we expected but dining room too small and only 1 lift. Hotel is not really capable of providing full service to all if it is fully booked.

Convenient to Univ. of Begin and the downtown area. Clean and quiet. A short walk to the airport express shuttle.

This hotel is in a prime location in downtown Bergen - less than a block away from a stop on the Airport bus and only a few minutes walking to the train station. It is also very convenient to tons of shopping and restaurants/bars. The room was small by American standards (but definitely larger than many European hotels I've stayed in), very clean and […] beautifully furnished. The hotel room is pretty small and nothing really amazing. But the breakfast was really good! There was a wide selection of choices and the fish was very fresh and delicious! Yummy! This is a poor hotel which serves a good breakfast. It is situated on a busy road junction with a constantly beeping pedestrian crossing system. The room does not have it's own air conditioning so you are faced with the choice of sweltering or putting up with a lot of noise with the windows open. My request for a fan was ignored. The hotel is staffed […] with a wide variety of young ladies who are certainly more concerned with their appearance than they are with providing any degree of service. The room was clean. The beds comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good. The only drawback was the location of our room, with windows opening on a very busy street and at night could hear music from a corner night club and in Norway the clubs apparently don't close until 3 a.m. Could have closed the windows, but it was warm and hotels don't seem to […] have air conditioning in Norway. We stayed at 7 hotels on our Scandinavian vacation, and this hotel was our favorite. The sheets were incredibly comfortable. Just a short walk from the center of Bergen, hotel Rica is a nice, basic hotel. Its not exceptionally fancy but the service was good the room was a good size, and was nice and very clean.

Small single room for the high price but good and functional.

Bra beliggenhet og hyggelig betjening, men rommet var lite og trangt med behov for oppussing. Vanskelig å få plassert to kofferter uten å snuble over disse hele tiden. Veldig god frokost.

Var på dette hotellet med min datter (5 år) for en helg. Fikk et rom med to separate senger, litt lite rom men helt greit for to netter. Beliggenheten er topp, kort vei til torgalmenningen og Lille Lungegårdsvannet, Brygga og andre sentrale ting. Også gangavstand til Akvariet. Hadde rom mot bakgården, fint for å slippe trafikkstøy. Kommer til å benytte hotellet ved senere anledninger. Til tross for svært små rom, var servicen for øvrig bra, og en hotellfrokost utenom det vanlige, aboslutt perferkt.

Litt smal dobbelseng, men flott og koseleg rom ellers. Ein del støy frå gata. Men for ein fantastisk god frukost! Den beste vi nokon gong har fått på hotell! Smilande servitørar gjekk rundt og fyllte på kaffi, og det var ein nytelse å smake all den gode og sunne maten!

Veldig små rom! Kø i frokostsalen 2 dager på rad. Men god mat og grei standard på rommet. Stille strøk med kort vei til det meste.

Perfekt plassering til mine behov. Kort vei fra flybuss og Grieghallen. Overdådig frokost. Litt mye skrik og skrål fra gata utenfor i helgen.

Jeg synes at dette var er bra hotell. Rommet var litt trangt men for en natt eller to så går det bra. Frokosten var veldig innbydende og sengene var gode.
