Hotell Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront - Indialantic

Kanonläge på underbarstrand och härlig pool. Mer affärsinriktiat typ av hotell men fungerade utmärkt med barn. Frukosten var riklig och spännande men passade mer vuxna så vi åt amerikansk frukost på restaurang ett kvarter bort. Inga spännande kvarter runt omkring.

Målet med vår vistelse var att spendera ett par dagar vid poolen och på stranden. Det blev ett par riktigt sköna dagar. Det negativa var att det var lite väl kallt vatten i poolen. I övrigt tycker jag hotellet motsvarar vad man kan förvänta sig.

Nice hotel. Good location. Right on the beach. Hardly any restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Only negative experience was that the cleaning of the room was around 7pm, right when you are busy to get ready for going out to eat. We ended up not having our room cleaned for the complete stay due to this (3 nights)

Beautiful rooms overlooking pool and beach. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Wonderful, reasonable priced breakfast buffet offered in hotel restaurant. Stunning beachfront location.

Very clean and convienent to local stores and resturants if needed. I had an ocean front with no sitting balcony. Only standing balcony on the third floor.

II was very familiar with Indialantic as my daughter is a Grad Student at Florida Tech and is in her last year. The Hilton was Beautiful, Comfortalble, and very Clean! Their staff was Extremely Friendly and helpful. I love the area and hope to still visit after she graduates!

We paid for ocean front king room and arrived and was told that we were booked in an ocean view room. They gave us an ocean view handicap king (after showing the printed out Hotels.com voucher)but it was not direct oceanfront but more side view. The room was so small that the sofa was jammed against the slider to the miniscule patio that barely had […] standing room and no room for a chair. The bathroom had dingy tile and carpet in room was worn.We have stayed in the Doubletree and Radisson down the street which are direct oceanfront and suites more modern at less than the price we paid for this Hilton. Pro: All the rooms are ocean front Cons: No safety box in the room No cafateria in the hotel

The room was large and comfortable. The service was excellent. The food was great. The outside bar by the pool and hot tub served all the menu from the restaurant. All employees that we encountered were pleasant and willing to give 110% to make our stay an enjoyable one! Would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

I choose this hotel because I was doing the 5k tooth trot on Saturday morning. I checked in Fri night, The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, duth the couch needed to be clean. some spots on it. The bed however, was very comfortable. This hotel was a great place to stay!!!! Great service over the past weekend.

I booked my room through hotels.com for a non-smoking oceanfront room, but at check-in the front desk told me there was only smoking rooms available. It might have been a glitch between hotels.com and what Hilton actually had, but the Hilton's front desk rep told me "Well, you already paid for the room....all we have in oceanfront is a smoking room, […] and I don't know how hotels.com messed up oceanfront non- smoking versus Oceanside." I feel I received poor customer service considering this was a Hilton. I will never stay at this Hilton again. Läs mer

Beautiful view of ocean. Great staff.

Traveled to this location for business and glad I picked the oceanfront room because my business partner chose the oceanview room and did not have the great view I did.

our family stay was enjoyable. my only dissapointment was that we had ocean front room but, it didn't seem any different to me than the ocean view both buildings were at same angle. if i would have known that then i would have asked for ocean view since the big difference was the balcony. i would have enjoyed having an actual balcony in our room. otherwise […] the stay and the staff were very nice. thank you. One complaint: they advertised for an oceanfront room, but I was put on the second floor and there was a huge concrete barrier blocking the view. I definitely would make sure you request a higher floor if you want the actual view included in your bill. I only stayed one night, but the staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and room service was good.

Information at check-in was lacking. I had to ask repeated questions at different points to find out hours for breakfast, info about their business center etc. Other than this, the room was very clean, bed very comfortable and the pillows were marvelous!!

We stayed this last week, and it was just one issue after another. First, their air conditioning was out for every floor in the building (think mid-summer in Florida). According to the Serviceman, it was out for two weeks prior, and they were waiting on a part. I sure wish they would've told us this, prior to our trip. The strange part is that some […] rooms had working A/C in them. As we check into our room and do the standard cleanliness check, we find a used band-aid on the nightstand, a peanut on the floor, dirt/sand in the doorway, a used candy wrapper in the open, and large nasty stains on three of our pillows. We make the best of it and call the front desk. The send a serviceman up to the room (who is drenched in sweat) with our "clean pillows" in his arms. They were actually wet from his sweat. The bathroom linens were stained as well. We make do and stay in the room for the night. Next day, our A/C goes out in the room while we were at the beach and when we come back to the room, it was 86 degrees. Again we call, and again a serviceman comes up to the room. With us trying to get ready, said serviceman begins taking apart the A/C unit in our room. I have two children with allergies, and I am watching him lay disgustingly dirty A/C parts all over the back of the room. At this point, I demand a new room, and of course all they have open is a room with one bed for our family of four. We take it and move. The next morning the cleaning lady knocks on our door at 8am. We are all getting ready and I asked her to come back in five minutes. Needles to say, when we returned to our room that night, our room still hadn't been serviced, and all of our towels were not taken. We call again, and up comes the serviceman (drenched in sweat) with our "clean" towels in tow. My husband travels all the time for work, and we vacation frequently. The hall on the floor I was staying had no A/C. The girl at the desk said they were turning off the A/C in the halls because the temp outside was so hot, to make the rooms cooler. What she did not know was that we checked out the other floors and the A/C was working! The place was a bit dirty too. I think they could do a better job cleaning. In terms of spaciousness, I'm a Doubletree fan myself, but I chose the Hilton due to its free wireless in rooms -- something I needed for my work. The location is terrific. It's beachside so the beach itself is only steps away from the hotel. There wasn't, however, an evident rinse-off place for those coming back from the beach, no sorts of outdoor […] showers for use. Granted, the accessway to the beach is just past the pool, but it's a bit icky to assume people should use the pool and hottub to rinse away the grit. I didn't choose the place for the view, but I had a King oceanfront room that did give me a decent partial, balcony view of the ocean. I also had a great view of the neighboring rental condos and A1A. My bed was comfy. The room was spacious and clean enough, certainly for a solo traveler. I didn't care if the TV was a giant flatscreen or some relic from the 1990's, really. However, for those who like TV and must have the best quality TV for a (somewhat) pricey hotel room, the Hilton provides a nice one. My issue with the room was, actually, its bathroom. Funny, it probably shouldn't be called a "bathroom" since it had no bathtub, just a very poorly designed shower stall. There wasn't much room to place one's toiletries, only the soap dish. Most importantly though...Ladies, fair warning: the shower makes for a horribly inconvient place to shave your legs. There's no place to give yourself a leg up like a tub would have. As for the service, I was there at the wrong time, so I can't blame anything on the service. There was some sort of convention happening so employees were constantly distracted. Everyone seemed nice. I didn't order any food from the restaurant nor did I have a drink at the tiki bar (the atrium bar,incidentally, was closed at the time). Overall, it's a decent hotel. We live in Florida and wanted to get away for the weekend. We were on a budget and still managed to find a room at the Hilton. Nice pool and beach access. We were able to rent a kayak while the kids were at the pool and found some alone time checking out the dolphins and sea turtles in the ocean. Great trip. Nice place.

Lacks a little in decor, but has a great beach! It's close to the Brevar Zoo which is wonderful.

Although we only spent one night at the Melbourne Hilton to celebrate our anniversary, we would definetely return if we have the chance. The room was beautiful as well as clean and comfortable. The beach, clean and well-maintained, was not crowded at all. We especially enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant. The food was artfully presented, professionally […] served and delicious! The hotel was okay. They have several rooms that face the parking lot. If you want a roon that sort of faces the beach you lose the refigerator and the large balcony. The breakfast in bed room service was great. But other than that the experience was just a plain.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was pretty good. The location is great...right on the ocean. A nice beach and not overly crowded. We only had a couple small problems. For one our room was not ready at check-in. We got in it over an hour late and then we were right on top of a lower roof of the building. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean (kind of) and could never […] have our doors open because of the exhaust blowing in our room from the fans on the roof. This room should be a reduced rate room as should any room that is close to this roof. I just don't see how we should have to pay the same as for the same type of room on the other side of the building that has no roof just an awesome ocean view. We spent very little time in our room so it wasn't a huge deal but I would have loved to watch the sunrise from our balcony with a cup of coffee and that just wasn't possible. Everything was great, hotel was clean, staff was really nice, but there were couple of things that was disappointing; this hotel is located right by the water and the fact that it has its private beach is all over the advertisement, but WHY NOBODY CLEANS IT? It was disgusting and the chairs only are available for money, Hilton doesn't provide any beach […] seating, you have to rent it, or bring your own. Also, I think part of the cost is because its "HILTON", we had to extend our stay and rented a room at the different hotel for 1/2 the price and the room was just as nice, hotel was clean, staff was wonderful. Quality rooms. Great staff. Beautiful location. Excellent food. What else is there? Oh... reasonably priced.

Great hotel to enjoy the beach and pool. Room was typical to many other hotels. Food is a little pricey, but within walking distance to a great seafood restaurant.

The service/staff was awesome! The pool was good! However, for the price I would think they would not put stained sheets on the bed. Also, we had mold in the shower, which was bad enough that my 6 year old even pointed it out. The beach is great for adults. However, are kids 9 and 6 were not able to enjoy it because where they would be spending most […] of their time in the water was littered with sea shells. Didn't receive that great of service, our room was okay but we didn't receive all the choices we asked for when we booked the room. The pool was very small, the Tiki bar was decent. Overall i wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. We were in town for some beach and Spring Training baseball, and this hotel really fit the bill - comfortable, clean, quiet, adequate pool, and great beach access. The food and drinks are the bar were reasonably priced - much different than previous hotel experiences elsewhere in the area where the food can […] be outrageously priced - and the food was delicious. I have stayed at this hotel before and when I found out i needed to take a class out in the surrounding area I was all to happy to go and visit the Hilton. Everyone was super friendly and was so quick to attend to every need. I love this hotel and look forward to returning.

Overall room size is a little cramped and the bathroom is a closet. Discription mentions flat screen tv's, a lie. This hotel is out of the way and at the end of the melbourne strip. Parking is also an issue. If for some reason you decide to waste your money and stay at this hotel, request a room in the new tower. The rooms there are a little nicer.
