Good central location. Fresh, newly renovated and modern interiors. Service was polite but i hardly needed any help with anything so hard to judge. The continental breakfast was simple but high quality and the breakfastbroom has a pleasant atmosphere that feels more like a cafe than a hotel dining room. Wifi worked well but limited to 1 device. A nice touch that it was included in the rate (as was breakfast). I asked for a room on a higher floor and was put on 15, the top floor. Small windows, maybe because of the nature of the old building. Good modern tv, etc, with lots of channels. Spacious bathroom and decent shower (took a minute or 2 forbhotbwater to arrive). Comfortable bed and a practical desk with lots of power sockets. Have stayed in nine zero previously. I would rank them similarly with Ames posibly edging it though not everyone will like the minimalist style and approach.

There's really nothing to complain about; a very nice hotel. I've stayed here a couple of times and it has been consistently good, from the friendly front desk staff to the bed quality. Oh, the soap smells to much, but that's about it.

Hotellets exteriör ingav inga höga förhoppningar, men när jag klev in på rummet blev jag angenämt överraskad. "Warm welcome, nice staff, small clean room noisy"
The staff was nice and helpful. The room was small but clean. The beds were confortable. The location was convenienT: walking distance to a lot of attractions. "Above and beyond..."
I lived in Boston for 12 years and found the location of the Chandler Inn wonderfully situated. I was close to a Bikram yoga studio, GREAT restaurants, awesome shopping and some pretty great gay haunts. I will look to stay here again on future visits.Verifierad gästrecension

Our stay was great. The location close to the station was perfect. The rooms are small, but nicely appointed. The biggest problem was the timing...we were there for the bombing lockdown. I stayed here while running the marathon. The location was perfect! It was a few blocks from the finish and the busses on Tremont. When I came back to the hotel after finishing the marathon the front desk knew who I was and congratulated me because they were following all of the guests online. Was really impressed with the Chandler in terms of service, the room and location. While small, the room was extremely clean, modern and functional with a European charm and feel. "Close to the Center of Everything"
We were very satisfied with the stay at the Chandler Inn Hotel. The staff were nice and although the rooms were a bit small, they were very clean and beautifully maintained. The location of the hotel was a short 5-10 minute walk from the main area of Boston -- where the Freedom Trail begins -- but you're in Boston so walk around and explore! "Enjoyed my stay"
I stayed at yhe Chandler Inn for an event being held at the Hynes Convention Center. It may not have been the most immediate and convenient location, but the walk was very do-able and gave me a chance to unwind in the evenings. The Chandler Inn exceeded my expectations. I travel often and I found the rooms in this hotel to be high value for the price. My room was the perfect size -- i.e., I had just enough space. Every square inch of my room was well considered and had very nice fixtures. I was barely in my room and I didn't want to spend money on unused space. "Chandler is great and close to Back Bay and Copley"
I have stayed at the Chandler before and will return again someday. I like the location as it is close the Back Bay and Copley Square. I don't spend much time in a hotel apart from sleeping and getting ready to go somewhere else, so this place was just fine. My usual concern with cheaper options in big cities is the shower, and as expected, it didn't get quite hot enough and the water pressure was low. The hotel was just fine, but we got a room on the second floor, which is directly above a bar. When we got back to our room in the evening, there was a line of people outside of the bar waiting for admission by the bouncer - suggesting it was perhaps more of a night club than simply a bar. I was pregnant and attending a conference, so a good night's sleep was rather important to me, but when we went downstairs to ask for a room change, the guy at the front desk said the hotel was fully booked that night -- I don't know if that was true or not. As a single woman traveling, I can't tell you how secure I felt there. The front desk was friendly and helpful. I would say the downfall was the hard, caved in matress and the noise level, for example doors slamming in the hallway, the roof top mechanical on the building across the way and the party goers at the bar on the first floor. I stayed here for a few nights, as the house I was moving into wasn't available immediately after I arrived in Boston. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to Boylston and Newbury Street, and to Back Bay station. The staff were very polite and friendly, such as helping me with my luggage when they saw I was struggling. The room […] and bathroom were a little small, and the colour scheme was slightly odd (some browns and greens), but my room was warm, the bathroom was clean, and there was a large TV with cable. The bed was comfortable and they provided four good pillows. Light-sleepers should be warned that there is some noise from the street, but I didn't notice any of it coming from the bar next door (it was more traffic, etc.). Lovely helpful staff.The shower could hold 3-4 people but the sink is so small,and the tap so completely out of proportion to the size of the sink that is practically impossible to wash your face comfortably. In all my years of travel, never have I experienced a finer management team. My flight was extremely late landing in Boston, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me.
