Hotell Hilton Anchorage - Anchorage

I would normally try to stay at a boutique hotel but I couldn't find one in Anchorage so I stayed here. The staff was very nice but the hotel was boring. It was fairly expensive for Alaska but the design was uninspiring and the neighborhood didn't offer much.

I loved this hotel! The only complaints I have are the price of parking and not having access to free Wi-Fi. Due to those 2 things I will not be able to stay at this hotel during my business travels in the future.

I had NO wash cloths, had to call desk because remote didn't work on TV. Then later as I was about to retire for the evening, a call came from the front desk saying there was a conflict with my confirmation number and I had someone else's room. After waiting for sometime for the clerk to call back, I finally called the desk and talked to someone else. […] I asked if it was cleared up and was put on hold, and then was told it was all cleared. I still don't know what the problem was, and I was not comfortable thinking I was in someone else's room. Not a good experience for me. Läs mer

Easy way up stairs to hotel from RR station. Cab fare about $4.00.

For a hotel that charges So much, you expect luxury. Instead, you get a bathroom door that doesn't work, an old TV, and an overall feel of staying in a motel 6. The only good positives were the friendly staff and the location

Great downtown location! Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants... local weekend farmers market right across the street at the waterfront (weather permitting). The only reason for 4 stars is NO airport shuttle offered by Hilton :( Luckily, I found a really friendly cab driver (mahalo nui, Wally!!) who gave me a great deal, but the usual is $15+ […] one way, to/from airport. This hotel is in a great location downtown. It was walking distance to the convention center drop off from our cruise, close to nice restaurants and shopping, close to the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to check our extra suitcases for three days while we visited Denali. Good restaurant and bar. Room to small for king bed, did not have any walking room. From train station no transportation to hotel unless use cab, two block walk up the hill, not happy lugging suit cases.

Very well located near the 4th street shops & diagonal across the street from the Alaskan Art Fair & Show(seasonal). Walking distance to the Train Station for day trips, Ship Creek for a nice nature walk, and many restaurants & pubs are nearby. The hotel has a spacious entry area with a Starbucks and Cafe. While this hotel was in a great location and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is showing its age. The room itself was enormous, however the airconditioning was so noisy that it was very difficult to sleep with it going. Turning it off and opening the window just let in all the outside noise. A lose/lose situation.

In my family's 10 day trip to Alaska, we stayed at this hotel 3 different times - 1st night, 4th night and the last 3. We initially only had the first and 4th nights booked, but changed our reservations for the last 3 nights to this hotel after staying the first 2 times. Hotel graciously accomodated a change in room (to get a harbor view). Only issue […] was that apparently housekeeping was not informed of our room change and our room did not get cleaned when we were out one day - however they did come at 7pm after we called the front desk and cleaned our room - just a mix-up, they certainly made up for the mistake. Excellent pool and work-out facilities. Would highly recommend this hotel. Läs mer

If you want to stay at the heart of downtown Anchorage, don't hesitate to get this hotel. I intended to stay for only one night, but I extended my stay for another night because everything -- from restaurants to museums to tour pick-up sites -- is within a walking distance. The hotel does not have an airport shuttle, but a cab is only for $25 -- and […] you are helping the local economy. The hotel has a nice indoor pool and gym, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Ask for the higher floor and corner rooms, facing the mountain and the creek, and you are all set for a wonderful Anchorage experience! Läs mer

even though the staff was very nice, it was an overall unpleasant experience. i truly feel that it was not worth anywhere near the amount we paid for the room. below are only some of our main complaints. 01 - wireless internet was not working. 02 - it took 5 calls to the front desk to get a technician to come and replace the router. still didn't work. […] other guests complained that it had been out all week. 03 - pool had no clean towels. 04 - when towels did arrive they stank of fish. yes, fish. 05 - unable to turn off AC in room. technician had to come in, open up the ceiling and disconnect the unit. 06 - sinks were clogged 07 - very suspicious transaction at the cafe. チェックインのとき、２ベッドの部屋で６ヶ月前から予約していたが、団体を優先して到着時にはなかった。いろいろと交渉したが、汚い部屋なら案内できるとのことでした。担当の女性は交渉中デスクに片足を挙げっぱなしでした。あまりの無礼ぶりに日本語でどなりつけ、主任に代わって貰いました。 何とか、補助ベットが入る部屋になりましたが、シャワーだけの部屋でした。 このごろのヒルトンは質が落ちてます。ヒルトンの娘と同じように従業員の教育ができていないと思います。
