Vackert hotell med trevlig personal och god frukostbuffet. Stiligt renoverat med en bra mix gammal charm och modern bekvamlighet. Återvänder gärna både till Florens och detta hotell.

Läste inför resan de tidigare recencionerna och hade inte förväntningarna på topp. Men blev positivt överraskad. Det enda minus var att det fanns ingen AC i de allmänna utrymmena åtminstone högre upp i huset. Rummet var fint med bra AC. Jag valde hotellet pga dess närhet till kongresspalatset. Det var väldigt varmt i Florence i mitten av juli.

Excellent front desk. Elegant hotel, nice sitting area alongside lobby with free internet. Really good breakfast with attentive staff. Very convenient location to train/bus station (one block away). We received a room with a small balcony which made this hotel memorable. Easy walk to Duomo and nice restaurants. Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a very convenient location - only a few minutes' walk from the train station and the bus depot. The front desk staff were not very friendly but everything else was fine. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is located just off a main road within a block of the SMN train station. Very convenient if you are traveling by train. The hotel is quiet and the rooms were very clean and a reasonable size. In one room there was no closet but a rod for hanging clothes in the large bathroom. Unfortunately , the generally high humidity during our stay, caused […] the clothes to develop a musty smell. This seems to be a peculiarity of only one room, however. The overall room looked worn out, especially the carpet, TV was small and old, the bathtub with the plastic protection leaked water. There was no tea making facility nor was there any bottled water for consumption. The room for three adults was very tight. On 2nd September I left my mobile in my room but late at night when I returned, I could not […] find it at all. I phoned your reception reporting any :Loss & Found" mobile phone. Your male receptionist said he would check. I phoned again very late in the night, and he said "No". As I had to leave early the next morning to catch the 8.30 am train to Venice, I casually asked your reception lady whether she had found any mobile. She said "No". I left it at that. The hotel staff were really helpful, organising restaurant reservations and opera tickets. Great breakfast that was available until 10.30. The hotel is in a really good location for all of the sights. This was by far our favorite hotel on our trip to Italy. It was very close to the train terminal, and within walking distance to local landmarks and attractions. The rooms were large and clean, with cheerful high ceilings and large windows. They were much more luxurious than the typical European hotel. The hotel was nice and conveniently located close to the train station and tourist attractions. There was a problem with the electricity in the hotel room. A flip of a certain switch would turn off everything! Also, there was a shortage of outlets! We had to unplug either the lamp or the TV if we wanted to charge our cell phone or computer. It seems to be all new, sort of art deco. Friendly staff and fine breakfast buffet included. I was warned that it might be noisy one block removed from train station but I didn't hear a thing on Fiume, a quiet street.

While close to the station and the sites, the room on 3rd floor was disappointing. 1) small and dark - can't open the shutters because it overlooks another hotel a few meters away. 2) bathroom had a constant smell of urine - even after complaining about it. 3) constant hum of machinery is annoying and disturbed our sleep.

The staff was very helpful. At first we were given a small room with only an attic roof window. When we asked to change rooms we were graciously given a room with a lovely balcony with a view over the city. The breakfast buffet is excellent! Stayed here for 3 nights and overall had a very enjoyable experience. Staff at front desk and in breakfast room were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was bigger than expected with modern bathroom but the aircon was not working. There were english tv stations but the best feature was its close proximity to the train station.

The hotel itself is pretty good. The rooms are big for a european hotel, there's free wifi in the rooms, it's next to the main train station and it's close to the main sites. I wish the front desk staff had been more helpful with dining recommendations instead of always recommending restaurants that were tourist traps. Hotel Albani Firenzi is a wonderful property. It is one of those quintessential Florentine properties that has lurked in the hearts of all Americans since the release of the movie "A Room With A View" (although please understand that the hotel does not overlook the Arno). Beautifully appointed and a fantastic location, this is a great place to stay […] in Florence. You will feel positively Continental staying at this lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The bathrooms are very well kept and convenient. I don't know if all the rooms feature balconies, but our suite had two balconies which overlooked a typical Italian courtyard. Although we had always heard that having a car in Florence is a nightmare, the hotel made parking a pleasure. And the staff was all very nice and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the Mercado Centrale and a short walk to the Duomo. There are lots of nearby shops and restaurants to enjoy. The location is very convenient from the train station. If you have heavy luggage the streets going to the hotel are not paved smoothly. The bed was very comfortable. Similar to all Italian hotels we have stayed in, the air conditioner does not get cooler than 24C. Watch out for mosquitos if you leave the window open. Location is close to the train station, but it is located on the street where all of the buses park. So, there is loud traffic noise day and evening.

Outstanding service and rooms. We were upgraded to a junior suite which allowed us to have 3 big beds! Gorgeous room, quiet hotel, easy walking distance. Staff extremely helpful. Arrived at 2 and asked about seeing the "David" and they made reservations, obtained vouchers and we slipped past the line of tourists at 6:15 with our reservations. This hotel is an old classic that has been completely modernized without losing its historic ambiance. We got a fantastic rate in late September, when the weather and crowds were more favorable, as well. The breakfasts were more than we were expecting, with eggs, pancetta, cold cuts, and cheeses, as well as the usual breads and cereals. There were also […] desserts, if you cared to indulge at that hour. There is no parking at the hotel, but a valet will take your car and park it in a location several blocks away. That service is pricey, but it relieves you from dealing with parking in a city with few parking spaces. The front desk staff was helpful, and our room on the street side of the building was quiet. This was the best hotel we experienced during our 2 week trip in Italy. First, the bathroom was larger than many of our hotel rooms in other cities. Absolutely elegant! The quality of this hotel was exceptional. The staff was courteous and friendly (they even booked us a stay at thier sister hotel in Rome) and worked with us when my husband showed up a day after i did. Room service was good and reasonably priced as was the laundry service. It is located within walking distance of the Santa Maria Novella Train station […] but is very quiet. The hotel did not live up to the other review I had read and I was very disappointed. First the staff were not very friendly and were certainy not helpful on anything we asked about. The room had orange walls and some crazy loud carpet that all looked outdated and made for a dark room, one small window did open if you could dig it out from behind the […] dark heavy drapes and two sets of shutters. The hotel computer for internet access did not work the entire stay and they just kept saying maybe tomorrow. Also, they had confirmed dinner for our last night at a local restaurant but when we arrived the restaurant had us down for the night before at a different time and acted irritated at us. When asked the hotel just said it was closed on the night you wanted, which was Saturday and since we showed up and they were open they clearly got something confused. My biggest problem with that was not even any sort of spology. Pretty good location, everything walkable from the hotel, we ended up getting a good rate especially relative to the other hotels we stayed at this trip in Italy. Hotel very good. Staff friendly and obliging. We booked a superior room through Hotels.com and found it to be clean, comfortable with air conditioning that worked well. We had a small internal balcony. The bathroom was lovely. The housekeeping staff attended to any needs we had and provided clean linen on a daily basis. The hotel was in Via Fume close […] to the Santa Maria Novella station ideal for arriving and departing from Florence and within a short walk of all the major attractions, bus station and tour bus stops. The street was also quiet so sleeping at night was not a problem - friends had commented that in their hotels it was noisy at night. We may have been lucky with our room but I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there again. We didn't expect such an elegant hotel. Very nice surprise. Could use more staff on the desk.

The hotel did not have a/c in the hallways, and not very much a/c in the lobby. Discovered plumbing problems in our first room. The staff moved us to another room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Albani. The rooms are nice size with comfortable beds and very high ceilings. The hotel common areas are very nice. The location is good, but not quite in the center of things. We were new to Florence, and after walking around a while, realized that we were within a scenic 10 - 20 minute walk of the nicest sites. There are […] good restaurants proximate to the hotel. The only real drawback is if, like us, you need to stay in touch with the office. Wireless internet access only works in the common areas (not rooms). The problem may be the old world construction, but the solution may be to run some wired connections to at least some of the rooms where the guests really need that amenity. Elegant hotel- not cheapest but good value for high end. Good location, quiet street. We stayed 3 nights in 2 rooms with two teenage daughters. Recommend you book museums ahead of time on internet. I would definitely stay again. They parked our car but cost about $30 per night.

Very close to the train station but Italian trains are quiet so noise was not an issue what so ever. We did not eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Room was very comfortable. Staff had excellent English skills.

The only thing we were disappointed about was the restaurants around the hotel. We recommend that you go closer to the river from restaurants. The hotel staff could have been a little nicer especially at breakfast.

駅に近く便利でした。お部屋にフルーツの盛り合わせとボトルの水がサービスで置いてありビックリしました。朝食も美味しかったです。お部屋は天井が高く大きな鏡の効果もあって広く感じました。また行く機会があったら泊まりたいと思います。

Gammelt men velholdt hotel. Store og pent dekorerte rom til en ok pris.Rent og pent. Vil du bo sentralt i Firenze med gaavstand til alt, er dette hotellet et bra valg.Det er mindre enn 10 minutter a gaa til alt du maa se i Firenze.Frokosten er bra og det er en hyggelig hage og slappe av i. Veldig vanskelig aa finne frem med bil! Mange gater er enveiskjort […] og det er ikke alltid godt skiltet. Vi fikk en drosje til aa vise oss veien til slutt. Das Hotel befindet sich ca. 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt, was für uns sehr wichtig war. Die Hotelausstattung ist einfach aber sehr gepflegt. Das Personal war überaus freudnlich und zuvorkommend.

Hotel situado muy convenientemente cerca de la estación del tren. Buena habitación, muy limpia y cómoda. Buen desayuno. Sin embargo, no había servicio de Internet y al preguntarle a la persona de la recepción, respondió en forma bastante descortés que no era su culpa ni la del hotel, pues era problema de la compañía proveedora del servicio.

mooi hotel, goede ligging heel dicht bij station en congrescentrum, en ook dichtbij het centrum, prijs/kwaliteitverhouding prima, service prima.
