"Close to the DUCKS!"
The best thing about the hotel is the close proximity to the University of Oregon campus. It is not the hotel closest to the campus, but it is very close. The hotel room was clean, however it is OLD and the smell in the hallways is strong! The carpet in the room, although clean and vacuumed, seemed dirty. "Close to Eugene station, but its ok."
We stayed for a night. The hotel location is really great, and lot of eateries closer to the location. Our kids want to play in the pool, but its very small. The hot tub located outside of the building, and its very cold outside to sit. I dont have any big issues with the service, so if you want to stay near the train station, its easily walkable.

The hotel is okay and has reasonable rates but it needs a lot of updating. Hotel has a gym and a covered pool with outside Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi was not hot enough even for my kids. There no free internet access in the room (only in the lobby area). The internet access in the business room was too slow. Another user has some major issues with print server. […] He finally had to go to kinkos. The lobby had a smell to it. We stayed two nights first night they didn't have the HBO service. The second day the TV service was out for the entire day. Great experience. Came to Eugene to check out the U of O with my daughter. My only negative comment is that she and her friend said the pool was too cold and the hot tub was way too HOT! thanks for asking.

This was a perfect location for our visit to the Hult Center, however I expected a little more from a Hilton. The service was perfect, the valet was convenient, (even at $20) however once you were in the room you could have been at any other motel/hotel just with a higher price.

The room was spacious and well-appointed - just what I'd hoped for on a 1-night business stay. Staff members (airport shuttle, front desk, bell desk) were friendly, courteous and helpful.

"Nice hotel. Employees need training"
The website says "free parking". It was $15 even though we pointed this out. The website says "turn down service upon request". Not one of 3 people at the desk knew what this was. I told them it was fine, that I did not need it but, having been in the hotel business for 20 years, i explained what it was. They didn't believe me! Walked into the bar at […] 11:15PM. It was busy. They were serving drinks, food was coming out. They refused to serve us as last call was already made even though there were tables that had drinks "lined up". We asked if we could just purchase 2 glasses of wine, pay for them on the spot and take them to our rooms. We were told no(as we watched people being served more drinks and food). The Hilton would see what time they put the order in and they would get in trouble! For customer service!! The right thing to do would be to pour us a glass on the house. They sent us to a bar down the road that was dirty, drifty and full of very young college age rough looking characters. "Eugene Hilton"
Staff is exceptional. Bed seemed like a full rather than queen. Poor mattress quality. Hotel charges an additional $15.00 per night to park in their garage. $20.00 for valet parking. The indoor pool was a draw for our son. Cheapest breakfast was $11.00

We wanted to go out for New Years Eve, & this was in such a great location to do that. We were close enough to walk to where we wanted to go. The staff at the Hilton are very wonderful!!!!! It is my 2nd stay here, & I'm sure it will be followed by many more!!!

the seafood buffet was less than good, the service was worse. New Years Eve, bad Idea! We had a couple fighting next door until 5:00am, I called the front desk, they stopped to fight, then ask me if I would like to move to a different room! Me move!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! How about booting the couple! Never again!

well, this hotel was ok. not great, but ok. coffee in lobby disappeared around 11 AM ish, weird? coffee in rooms mediocre at best. Room was okay but lamps did not all work. Front desk was moderately helpful. Charged $10 a night for WiFi in room (ridiculous!!)
Our trip to the Hilton was lovely, myself at 8 monthes pregnant and my Grandma at 74 years old were treated kindly and made very comfortable. We left via train and although the train station is only 2 blocks away no one made us feel silly for asking for a shuttle ride there. We were well taken care of and enjoyed our stay very much.

Parking is an additional $15 and internet is an additional $10. It's a nice hotel, but I would have stayed at a hotel where these services were free if I had known this.
Great spot for during the day. Didn't feel safe walking by myself at night. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Very nice, friendly, helpful people. Couldn't ask for anything better. Maybe all the rains makes people friendly. The location is excellent with excellent restaurants in walking distance.

Me and my two girls stayed there on Friday night. It was perfectly located right in the center of the city. Saturday market right ther. Night life all around. The satff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The only recomendation is that they should have a complimentary breakfast...
Overall the hotel service was OK but my problem was the sound proofing of the hotel. The slamming doors kept my up most of the night and the train woke me up in the morning. Use the ear plugs in this hotel.
This hotel is very nice in all respects except: Paying $10 for one night's use of WiFi is grossly too much, especially when Sheraton and other top notch hotels is FREE. Paying $10 for one overnight parking when the hotel charge is already too high is a gross overcharge.

Overall quality was nice. Overpriced for the condition of the room. Balcony overlooked a cement wall. The beds were a bit warn but as far as the parking I was surprised to be charged an additonal fee. Great location if you are attending events at the Hult Center... it's right next door! Within walking distance to a great array of restaraunts. The rooms were dated, but clean. "sad service"
having stayed with the Hilton many times before in other cities, my expectations were higher than what could be met apparently, when we checked in, we were not even greeted and we weren't given any information about the hotel until we asked the manager that happened to be wandering the halls. the coffee pot in our room still had the last clients coffee […] grounds in it, the toilet paper was empty and much to our suprise there was no fridge or microwave. It was very frustrating to pay for parking and then not be able to find a spot to park in because the general public is allowed to park there also. The buffet was so overpriced that it was cheeper for us to walk down the block and eat at a far nicer restaurant for half the cost. I won't book here again and if you are smart, you will not either! "Nice Hotel, but they nickel and dime you"
10-15 dollars to park the car, 10 dollars for internet, 2 dollars for the bottle of watter in the bathroom. Nice hotel, not worth the money.
