Conon Bridge Hotel is your standard hotel/pub type accomodation, clean, neat and roomly. Hearty breakfast. What makes it stand out is the service. We had car problems, and the whole hotel, from manager to chef where engaged in helping us out and getting us back on the road the next morning. After a terrible night on side of the road they fixed us dinner way after closing time, gave us a friendly welcome, started making phone calls and got everything sorted out. This is what Scotland is all about, and what makes places like these stand out against the run-of-the-mill impersonal big chains of the world!

During the week 27 in 2011 we visited the Carrmoor Guest House in Carrbridge south of Inverness in Scotland. The atmosphere and the family who runs the guest house are very friendly and service minded. The house is newly renovated and situated in a calm area of the little village Carrmore. Our double rooms were very comfortable and clean with nice furniture and tastefully interiors. In the lounge we met guests from different countries who returned to the guest house every year. A perfect place if you want to explore whiskey distilleries, walk and climb in the mountains or go to the famous lake Loch Ness. Furthermore, the dinner that we enjoyed in the evening was very good. Litet familjehotell med bra atmosfär. God mat lagad av mannen i huset. Frukosten utmärkt!Härliga rum. Lätt att hitta till, trots läget. Rekommenderar ett besök på lilla destilleriet Benromach.

"All Round Good Hotel"
Good hotel and very central. Good facilities. Only moan was the restraunt was expensive.

The external of the hotel is in need of renovation but the interior is good. The hotel is well positioned and has parking available. Good breakfasts and a decent cup of coffee for a change, the staff are well mannered and helpful.

We came here for one night, just for a wee break away from Aberdeen. We got a last minute deal on hotels.com, and what can I say, we were impressed. From the moment we walked in we were all smiles, the receptionist was very polite and pleasant, then we got to our room and I was delighted with the large bed!! and it was very clean. I was also further […] delighted to find that we had complimentary use of the health club, so after lunch we went for a swim, spa and sauna - it was lovely. The hotel is bang on the centre and next to everything we required! The breakfast was DELICIOUS. "The Same Hotel I know, just a Name change!"
I've used this Hotel on and off for years, it is still as good now as it was when called the Ramada Jarvis. Friendly Staff and Management, Good Service, Comfortable and Conveniently Located.
"city centre location"
the Mercure hotel was a great central location for our recent stay in Inverness fora family wedding. the only complaint i would say is that we booked a room that could accommodate a child and two adults and arrived to find a compact twin room allocated. Staff were friendly and helpful and put up a folding bed but space was extemely tight. Luckily it […] was only for the one night so not a big problem.
