I gave this hotel an overall rating of 3 because of the following: the breakfast had a good variety of foods, and I especially like the waffles. The breakfast area was ample in size. "Perfect place"
Had an enjoyable time at La Qunta, everything was wonderful. Personnel were very curtious
"Non Smoking Room"
Although this was suppose to be a non smoking room, the smoke smell was pretty heavy. The staff was very nice and friendly.
THe hotel is too old. toilet wouldn't flush. needed painting. overall wear and tear was very obvious. would not stay there again.

"Worst La Quinta Stay"
I've stayed at over 10 La Quinta hotels and this is by far my worst stay there. It all started by checking in at 2:00 P.M. and no room was ready for me to check into. It took them 30 minutes to call a housekeeper and find out that she had about 5 rooms ready. After checkin, I called the front desk to ask a simple question on the wifi and they never […] answered the phone. "So-So"
Wall not properly repaired from previous leak, carpet very dirty. Curtains not attached on velcrow sides. Average accomodations but breakfast was good. Front desk didn't try to extend welcome or do any customer service (disappointing).
looked like a prison compound. tv didnt work employees were very friendly parking too far away from room should take more consideration with people with issues with climbing stairs no elevator. no refridgator for drinks no microwave will be returning to eagle pass in spring but will not stay at this hotel again.

The pics. show that the rooms are inside, but when I got there the rooms are on the outside.

Location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is very clean and comfortable.

This hotel was everything that I needed. It was reasonably priced, the beds where comfortable, the room was very clean, and the area was very quiet so I was able to get good sleep. The shower had hot running water with good water pressure. The hotel does offer a free continental breakfast but it was located right next to this diner where I opted to […] eat that was very good. Also, this hotel was not too terribly far from the Casino, which was the main reason for my trip. Overall, I was very pleased and this will be my hotel of choice when I visit Eagle Pass. "Great Room"
The only less than acceptable thing about this hotel was the lobby. They had 5 people in line trying to check in with more coming in and only one clerk working. The clerk tried to contact housekeeping to see what rooms were ready and couldn't get hold of her. There was also a homeless male inside who was eating from a bag and drinking coffee. "Lacks Maintenance"
Bathtub would not drain - requested maintenance but none was provided. Also, there was constantly trash in the parking lot, walkways, and landscaping. Very dirty looking.
"Great Location"
This hotel is in a great location close to both the Casino and Border. For a place to shower and sleep it's fine, but if you like to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee, you need to bring your own chair. There are no places to sit outside except for around the pool which is only open during certain hours.
"Night Shift Great but Day staff is very poor"
The person greeting me was great but the day manager was a complete opposite. The rooms bathroom was terrible. There were bugs that had been there for days. The tub had several rings.
