This is an old hotel that needs total renovation! Also, the street leading to the hotel has many potholes and is located next to a night club. Not a safe part of town. This hotel used price gouging due to a convention in Charlotte and the availability of rooms elsewhere. Never again will I stay here.

Good prices, owner/staff are really helpful, room is pretty clean, air heat and hot water work, didnt see any bugs thats a plus........ill go back and plan to probably next week.

If you don't mind waiting for the staff, a strip club right outside, semi dirty rooms, Wi-Fi that does not work, a broken TV, and not much of a breakfast than this place is perfect. I should have spent the extra $15 and stayed at the usual place (comfort inn) where they deliver what they advertise and live up to their name.

located behind a strip club, the motel was inhabited by men hanging over the balcony, seemingly with intensions to hurt my mother and I. We sprinted to our to room, and locked the door immediately, only to find that none of the lights were working. We shuffled over to find the only worling light in the bathroom. Throughout the experience we also discovered […] a clogged toilet, useless refidgerator, no conditioner, broken tv, and only the options of third degree burn or antartica for our showers. The room was smelly and nasty , shower didn't hardly work .the hotel manager charged my card twice . Burn holes in sheets on the bed ...over all waste if money ..bad place to stay

Place was a dump! If I hadn't prepaid & it wasn't so late when I got to the hotel. I would have gone somewhere else. Burns on blanks. Bathrooms were nasty!!!

If passing through nd need some shut eyes, it's fine. If visiting the area? Definitely no! It was behind an abandoned building, and after plugging the address into the GPS I ended up behind the hotel with a huge gate prevnting me from driving in.

The a/c didn't work, the shower barely worked, and the service was despicable. Find another place to stay.

The TV was not working, and I had to get the manager to fix it. He put in a new cable cord. The sheets were not changed from the prior guest. There was blood and dirt stains on the lower half of the bed sheets.

It was ok,it was just alittle complications.It was'nt what my reservations was suppose to be.I'm in a wheelchair,but when I got there it was'nt what I signed up for.And they also made me pay extra fees.

This is a poor example of a hotel. I recommend you not even use them in the future. I felt unsafe because the room door would not lock while I was not in there. the electirc outlets did not work. I had to be given an extension cord in order to get power. I would not recommend an animal stay there. This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in Charlotte NC. 1938 Moore rd. there was moled in the bath room ,the toilet was running all night ,the beds were not confortable AT ALL. The room was very damp for some reason. Ive stayed at a lot of econolodge's and they were very nice. This one was a joke .....i didnt even want my money back. OMG! I will never stay at that place or any other econolodge ever. First of all, we had a very hard time trying to get into the room and thats everytime we tried to enter. There was a small rusted dirty looking thing, which was supposed to be a refrigerator. We had to sit on our bottoms just to be on its level. The TV wasn't very clear. And worst of […] all. The lights and TV went on us. Come to find out, there were cords and wires taped up in the room behind the bed. Very uncool and unsafe. We ask for clean towels and rags, they treated us like we were trying to take the rags and towels with us. And at checkout time they knock once and open up the door, they didnt give us time to answer the door. And when we are trying to put on our clothes, they want to keep the door wide open, no privacy at all. My over all experience was bad. I did not like this place the first moment i walked into it. The hotel had the a chain link fence all around it. The room was worn and tired looking, the cockroach that crawled on my pillow lacked the grace to die on first impact was a bit gross. And the drunk in the parking lot at 2:30 am was an unexpected surprise. I have to admit that I have been to several Econolodges and by far this one was the best I have ever seen. Yes - the road going into the motel needs some work but other than that I enjoyed my stay there.

Unfriendly staff Terrible breakfast (no adult cereal, no coffee for first 10 minutes, one tiny pre-packaged sticky bun per customer, no napkins.......) No coffee in room for coffee pot

This is one hotel I will NEVER go back to. Although it is within only a few miles of where I have stayed at before this is obviously the wrong side of the tracks. Not only were the rooms not clean ....... including the bathrooms, sheets, comforter, etc ... but the walls and door frame were in poor condition and when I asked for clean towels I was informed […] that none would be available until the next morning. My wife actually slept in her clothes at this hotel. There also seemed to be cars in and out of the parking lot all night long ...... I can only assume for illegal activites.
