Hotellet är mitt i smeten, trevligt och vackert intrett. Vi lyckades samläggas med ett bröllop, vilket ledde till spännande möten.

Hotellet består egentligen av ett antal intilliggande villor, så varje hus och rum är unikt. Vi bodde i James Bowie sviten som består av ett vardagsrum led ett fönster som utgång till en stor balkong, och ett sovrum med en gigantisk säng. Rummen är inredda i gammal stil, så det känns som om man bor i ett historiskt rum. Frukosten är ordentligt stor och anländer i en korg! Högst 5 minuters gångavstånd till Riverwalken.

"Conveniant location to downtown with a good price."
The motel is basic for what you pay for, but the carpet was disgusting! I had to go buy some flip flops just to walk on the floor. It left my white socks black and their tub black when you showered. It needs some remodeling done like yesterday. The room I had must have had a leak in the cealing in the bathroom and it was drywalled on the ceiling but […] never finished. close to Lula's. Carpet was dirty. Toilet seat broken. Light between beds didn't work. Mattress squeaked everytime you turned over. Good access to River Walk and ATT Center.

This hotel needs to invest in new beds! Both beds in my room were lumpy, bumpy. The toliet "ran' all night long. Upon checking out I noted that I was charged for use of the safe ($1.50 + tax). As soon as we walked in the room we walked right out; the room was filthy, the vanity was coming off the wall; the shower was dirty and the bed board fell off the wall. It was just so disgusting; pictures on the website are not correct for this hotle just the blankets. Went to the front desk to check out and ask for a refund. Was told to call Hotels.com […] to confirm refund and cancellation. "YIKES! It's a ROACH Motel!"
This place was in a great location but OMG! What a dump! We stayed about an hour and actually even that was 60 minutes too long. It's about 100 years old, smelled of mold & mildew and even though we didn't actually see any roaches, i'm thinking they all split for 'higher ground' also... "Cheap but mostly clean and convenient"
It's cheap and you get what you pay for but it's a straight walk down Lexington to get to a Riverwalk entrance and later, the Alamo. The staff was nice, too but get used to the overpass noise. My room was right on the end and the walls kept MOST of it out but not all.

The Hotels is quite pleasant, however do consider why it's called the Rodeway or RoadWay, its next to a main busy highway with LOTS OF NOISE

We showed up to only 2 double rooms available. Kinda stupid to have a married couple have to sleep in seperate beds. No discount for the inconvenience. Stayed there 3 times now, this last one gave us a sour taste for future visits

I was having doubts about reserving the room because of a few bad reviews. I was completely happy with room and location is great! The workers at hotel were very friendly and very helpful if any questions asked. This hotel has awesome feature which is trolley station, the trolley has red, blue, and yellow stations. You can hop on and off all day for […] $1.10 each time you get on. Way better than taxi!!! Also this hotel is very close to downtown Riverwalk, Rivercenter mall, Alamo, etc I am satisfied with this hotel and I will reserve the room next time I go to Texas. Great Service and location! "Rodeway Inn Downtown San Antonio - bring earplugs"
We recently booked two nights here because of the location. However, once we arrived, we saw that it was a motel, not a hotel. It was in a questionable part of town, with wrought iron fencing surrounding the property. The freeway was noisy on one side of the motel, while a very loud club was across the street on the other side. The room wasn't the worst I have seen but not what I would call clean. The room smelled like mildew and the neighborhood seemed questionable. Not really close to everything downtown even though it says downtown in the listing.

I attended the TMEA conference in San Antonio, and this was a somewhat convenient location to that. The service was friendly, and on the surface, the room was clean. Sadly, it still reaked of cigarette smoke, probably allowed at one point in the hotel's history, and there was definitely a mold problem, which I am severely sensitive too, so I spent much […] of my time having an allergic reaction to the that. "For the price its right"
The area is close to the riverwalk and restaurants. The beds are not comfortable, squeaky. The a/c doesnt blow very well nor cools off the room and someone having hotflashes often its not good. We were there for two days and each time we asked for wash clothes they said they didnt have any. So between three women we had two washcloths. Overall though […] its ok for the price. if you come during the hot summer days you may want to stay somewhere else unless they turn up the blower during the summer. Läs mer
The room was great for the price. We enjoyed our overall stay . It was in close to the Riverwalk but I would not reccommend walking. The hotel has a convenient Trolly location that is very reasonable and takes you to the Riverwalk. The only drawback I experienced was the bed everytime you move it squeaks

Overall clean hotel. There was just a slight leek in restroom that made noise. But other than that great place to stay.

aside from the location, and hot shower..this stay was horrible. trash scattered everywhere, noise all night with people blowing leaves at 10:30 at night, everything in the room was broken and dirty, saw a roach in the bathroom, there was a used shower bottle and soap bar with a hair from last occupants, room smelled musky, microwave is outdated and […] looks like it came outta the 70's Läs mer

Location is all this motel has We were greater with a used condom on the sidewalk 2 ft from our room door. The cielings are sagging, there was a roof leak in our bathroom, the beds ware okay as long as you didn't move because they squeaked like crazy. The pillows were OLD and had seen there better days. My family feared for their lives in this horrible part of town under the freeway. How it got 2 1/2 stars, I will never know. Shaking drug addicts were in the lobby, this is not where you want to take your family.

When I got there, it was dark and there were lots of "shady" individuals just hanging outside of the lobby. To be honest, I was a little scared to leave my car in the parking lot. The room was clean and the heater worked great, but my bed frame was busted on one side. Luckily I had 2 doubles, so was able to sleep on the other one with my other guest. "Not too unberable"
I chose this place due to it's proximity to downtown and of course price. The neighborhood is not to bad I never felt unsafe at anytime. The rooms are not bad considering the price my comforter had cigarette burns which was a nice touch. The crowd at the hotel ranged from transvestite hookers, small time drug dealers to kids on a field trip with there […] school a lot of variety. The staff very friendly. This was THE worst hotel chain room ever. No phone, dirty bathroom, roaches, yuk. It was cheap, but you get what you pay for! Really gross.
