Trevlig personal, nära french Quartet. Men det vara bara 1 kvarter från ett område man inte skulle gå till. Men killen var snäll Ica berättade vart man inte borde gå. Vi bokade samma dag som vi kom så vi fick ett rum med 6 st sängar. Det var i ett gammalt hus och var lite läskigt med så många sängar och så stort rum. Men skulle kunna bo där igen för det var lämpligt gång avstånd till det vi ville se och mysig innergård.

"Nice hotel location, terrible hotel"
I am very disapointed about my stay at this hotel, I was told I was reserving a suite, when I show up to the hotel the room was very small, the beds were horrible the place smell bad, the refrigerator did not work, and on top they told me I will have internet access and I was not able to connect to the internet, when I talk to Ramona (front desk) she […] told me there was nothing she could do for me and that if I wanted she could help me to check out at that very same moment. I ask her if that room was a suite and she told me there were no suites in that hotel. I had reservation for four days in that hotel, I had to pay more expensive room in a different hotel because I need it the next day to get out of the Confort Inn and suites. when you dont have reservations the charges are even higher. "Unacceptable lodging"
I hated it because the windows were frosted glass with chicken wire in the glass. Thus, you could see NOTHING. I am claustrophobic and this was horrible. No one should have to stay in a room with virtually no way to see out. It did not look like it had been cleaned well. The vanity was dirty and sheet were wrinkled - bed looked messy! It was downtown […] New Orleans - no good places to eat nearby. P & B restaurant which they recommended for breakfast was a walk up counter service. The people at the front desk were great and helpful. Unfortunately, they work in a run down hotel with inadequate maid service. On Sat. morning (8:40 am) a maintanence man knocked on door to fix safe - we did not report it as broken so I did not let him in - no pre call about his arrival from desk??? At 10:00 am a young woman came to the door and said that she had previously stayed in the room and left her perfume. I did not let her in. There was NO perfume left in the room!! No one called or accompanied her to my room. I thought her to be a potential mugger waiting in hall for us and called manager - he made lame excuses that Head Housekeeper was with her - there was NO one with her. Felt very unsafe in hotel! Hotel is a little hard to find and there is no parking on the busy street just outside the hotel. They do offer valet parking for $21 or you can self park 2 blocks from the hotel for $16. Robert and an other young lady at the front desk were extremely friendly when we asked about things to do and places to eat in New Orleans. Rarely meet such nice and helpful hotel staff, especially in a lower end hotel like Comfort Suites. The hotel could probably be renovated, but no complaints. Great sized room for the price and great location. No […] need to spend the extra bucks to stay in the Quarter. Its a few blocks away and a safe walk. "Bed Needs To Be Bigger For Couples"
Everything went pretty smoothly for the most part....they have this energy saver option for the in room fridge that failed to work properly. It was a major PITA!
