This hotel definitely needs to be updated and cleaned. If you want a nice hotel for yourself or a business associate, do youself a favor and go somewhere else.

Spotless room, very nice breakfast was included, right next to Los Gatos Creek Park trail, and walking distance to the Pruneyard. I'll be back.

I'd stay there again before a trip. Convenient and ride to airport was fine. Desk clerk wasn't very helpful .

Have stayed here several years ago and it was a definite plus. Just stayed there this week and was totally disappointed. Room carpets were stained and in need of remodeling. Would suggest to find other hotel if you want a clean environment.

Overall we had a good stay. The carpets in the room were extremely dirty where our sons clothes were soiled brown after 15 minutes of playing on the floor.

This is our 4th stay at the Campbell Inn. Each time our trip was down to see a surgeon in San Jose. Surgery was done in Campbell. Thats why we 1st picked Campbell Inn. Enjoyed it so much we now stay there even though we see the surgeon in his office in San Jose. Thanks for a great breakfast. And wonderful staff at the desk.

The Campbell Inn used to be a good quality hotel. While the staff were wonderful, the room furnishings were threadbare and stained and the bed was uncomfortable. This is sad for a hotel that used to be a hidden gem in the San Jose area.

I wouldn't say they are a 4 star hotel but this hotel has a lot of potential. On every aspect of hotels it does pretty good. Location, friendly staff, safe, clean, reasonable price, breakfast, quiet, and no bed bugs. I would go here again.

The hotel was surprisingly quiet (given how close it is to the freeway) and has plenty of free parking. The building is older but well maintained and very clean. The highlight was the included breakfast, which includes eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, fruit and cereal.

Only two things beds are hard and internet can he a problem. Some areas the internet is good others very bad so bring your hotspot

Too noisy at nights. could'n sleep well. Very close to CA-17 Highway. Also some other noisy machinery work at nights.

The floor of the room clearly had not been vacuumed as it had particles of something on it that I stepped on when I took my shoes off.

Accommodations were acceptable for our 2-night stay. Carpeting could use a good cleaning but otherwise the room was Neat and clean. GREAT complimentary breakfast. Friendly staff and housekeeping. Good location, close to restaurants. Enjoyed the walking/riding path right next door. Did not use pool or hot tub.

This place was way overpriced for it's amenities. Thank goodness the breakfast and WiFi were free; those made up for the flippant evening checkin manager. The directions for getting there were incorrect, so if you decide on this place, be sure to get directions from the hotel. The whole place is in need of upgrades: uneven floors, new paint, new bathroom […] fixtures, TV, etc..... The beds, however, were comfy, and if you are lucky enough to get a room somewhere in the middle of the line of rooms, you did not hear the freeway. This place will not be my first choice next time. The staff and manager are extremely customer friendly and eager to please, making your stay pleasant and enjoyable. Although this is an older hotel, it is excellently maintained.

The Campbell Inn backs up to the freeway, but considering that, it was reasonably quiet. The stairs leading to the room needed to be cleaned. The phone had no instructions on how to use it, i.e. front desk, room service, etc. The glasses in the room were not changed daily. The bedspread was not put on the bed. Great location, with outstanding comp breakfast for the price I paid. It's near bars, restaurants, shopping, as well as light-rail line to get to downtown San Jose.

The outside of the hotel looks much nicer than the inside. The room seemed extremely out of date, the mattress was old, the sheets smelled strongly of bleach, and the arm chair in the room looked like someone found it on the curb. It was so old and disgusting that I was afraid to sit on it or put my jacket on it. When we need to visit the area, this is a hotel with a great location, clean rooms, large breakfast buffet, and reasonable price. We've stayed many times and although it isn't the newest or most upscale, we've never been disappointed, and would rather spend the money saved on restaurants, shopping, etc.

Nice place for the price and we have stayed there 3 or 4 times previously sice it is close to our kids. Rooms were kept extra clean as we stayed four nights and noticed. Only complaint that I have is that your staff are not very friendly. Desk girl was fine but the cleaning, grounds men etc. were not. I don't speak spanish but I greeted them daily verbally […] & with a smile and they choose to either ignore us or look down with a good morning wispered. Not good!! Good except for the strong smell of cleaning chemicals in our room. However, we were able to air it out eventually. Good transport service to the San Jose airport. Excellent complimentary breakfast.

This has been the worst hotel we have ever stayed at through Hotels.com. I think your company should take a very close look at this hotel in person. It was horrible. The room was not clean, the carpets are worn out and dirty and so was the bathroom. We were very unhappy, we should have left, but we would have been charged for the room anyway, so we […] stayed. There was a tick on my bed. I was disgusted talked with the manager and left. Rooms were pretty gross, obviously. I won't come back and suggest you have a talk with them.

The room was clean, bed not overly comfy,location for my needs was superior, breakfast was very good, staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
