Spent three nights there. The main purpose of the trip was shopping, seeing musicals and doing tourist things. This hotel has an excellent location if you are here for shopping. This is located in a quiet side street, at the back of Debenhams Department Store, you could not get a better location in London if you want the shops on Oxford Street. Stayed here 15 years ago, nothing much changed, except the two tiny elevators which could hardly take two people and bags had been replaced with one modern bigger elevator, this was a great improvement. My room on the ground floorwas awful, spelt of damp, the bathroom ceiling was black spotted all over. Tried opening the bedroom window, (December) locked, wasn't putting up with the mould spors for 4 nights...Asked reception to open the window, was told it was locked for a purpose, "What purpose was that", I asked. I said it needed freshening up and airing out, the mould was awful. Then there was this constant rumbling noise, every few minutes, for the same duration. I thought it was comming from the next level, and that it must have been a porter with his trolley. I later saw the porter on the ground hall, and asked about the noise, and was told it comes from the Bond Street underground, it would stop at 12.30am and start again at 5am. Telling this to reception and asking to be moved further up away from the vibration noise I was informed they had never had such a complaint before. Considerng the underground was built before the hotel, I assume the hotel had this problem since day one. I was moved, to a room that was bigger than the shoebox I had been put in, and right next door to a huge construction crain that was rebuilding next door. Fortunately it was Christmas, and the construction crew were on holidays. The restaurant was boiling hot every morning, and the reception staff needed customer friendly training, I felt as though I owed them, instead of the other way around. Läs mer

THe hotel gives you everything you expect from a holiday inn with the added convenience of being on the door step of marylebone and Oxford St. The only thing that was quite inconvenient was hte lack of room service. After a night out with work colleagues and no evening meal the last thing i wanted to do was wander the streets looking for food, however […] the hotel did call a local pizza shop for me - rather unhealthy but desperation had set in. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location - when you can get a good rate this hotel is great but always compare to the bigger Park Lane hotels as I have in the past managed to get the Hilton park lane cheaper! This hotel was a perfect place for our family. Conveniently located, all the perks you would need. Great conceierge service and hotel bar for convenience.

We recently booked a weekend stay with a family room and standard room for grandparents. The hotel feels tired and clearly in need of a good refurb. Flaking paint/wall paper, thread bare carpets. In one room toilet door broken and wouldn't shut. Old TVs with poor picture in both. Just had the overall feel of a student digs or a bed sit. But with a […] brand new lift! The building is small and like a maze wandering around to find, toilets, dinning room. Rooms are two rooms cut into one to make larger and just feel strange. A good location, backing onto Oxford street within 5min walk. But care as behind Oxford street you can find yourself in a dirty side street with homeless people and scary at night, so stick to the main road. The service is terrible, luggage in a down stairs bedroom, which we where forced to clamber over, feeling bad inturpting porter from watching horse racing or forulm one on arrival and departure. Checking in was 15 minutes of paperwork, obtaining vouchers for breakfast a complete nightmare and complex. Don't ask staff for directions or information on area, they didn't have a clue and had to google the most basic information. We asked for a pizza express, given directions and ushered into a 15min taxi drive. Then next morning whilst getting newpaper found one 2 mins around the corner. In the heart of London, could not of been in a better location. We took a triple room, a bit small but all in all it was perfect. Would definately recommend the hotel, 5 minutes from Oxford Street, 5 minutes from Marble Arch - couldn't of been better.

Great Hotel, a very good Location. staff helpful and friendly very quick checkin and check out. Clean Rooms, It is a Very nice hotel in London Recomended for Business traveller and for shoppers.

First room we were checked in to was noisy due to air con outside which we could hear clearly even with all the windows closed. We immediately asked for another room and were given one with no hassle at all. Second room was much quieter. Arrived after theater show so fairly late in the evening. Could not operate the shower which was frustrating - needed "finesse" which required more patience than I had at 1 A.M. Front desk responded promptly to the incompetent woman in room #000. Basically comfortable. Basically clean. Spent less than 12 hours in the hotel.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in July 2010. The hotel was in a great location in central London and very close to major tube stations and lines and made getting around London a breeze. Hotel is close to lots of shopping and great restaurants. Room was clean and good size for a hotel room in London. The rooms are a little outdated and could use […] some refreshing, the carpet in our room was extremely worn out. However, for a room in Central London, this room was definitely a good value and comfortable. Its excellent location makes up for it being a little outdated. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to London, just remember that generally hotel rooms in Europe are not as big as what we are used to in the U.S. and you will be pleased with this hotel. Myself and my daughter (heavily pregnant) really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable. The reception staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel is in a great location just behind Oxford Street, so it easy to get to all the shops and tubes - this was essential as my daughter didnt want to walking for miles […] to get to and from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and I would and have recommended it to friends. The breakfast was good - good selection and piping hot. Overall the rooms are very clean and adequate in size. The one complaint is that you can hear noise from every one that passe your room the doors need better sound proofing.

I didn't use the restaurant as I wasn't there long enough. There are facilities there to leave your bags and go out if needed.

Fint hotell med som ligger sentralt. Litt minus med service. Da vi kom sa de at vi ikke hadde betalt hotellet, noe vi gjorde gjennom hotels.com. Det var litt styr og hun i resepsjonen var lite behjelpelig og stod lenge på sitt. Ellers har vi ingenting å klage på etter dette oppholdet. Eit greit hotell med kort veg til Oxford street og Marleybone High Street. Hotellrommet hadde trengt eit malingstrøk for å dekke over eit par slitte hjørner, men sengene var gode og badet var reint. Eg kjem tilbake!

Hotellet var veldig greitt, renslig, gode senger, romslige rom. Veldig nært shopping eldoradoet Oxford Street, kun 5 min gange. Kan absolutt anbefales...., kommer gjerne tilbake.

Der var en god service og maden var i top.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til. Et par minutter fra Oxford Street, og andre hyggelige bakgater. Rommet har alt du trenger for noen netter i London. Kommer til å bestille her neste gang vi reiser på jentetur.

Super beliggenhet med tanke på shopping og flere koselige spisesteder i nærheten. Fine rom, minuset var harde puter :)

Hotellet var veldig bra. Beliggenheten var super, og de på hotellet var veldig hyggelige og service innstilt. Glimrende utgangspunkt for både shopping og utflukter. Vi var to voksne og to barn, og rommet vi fikk var kjempe fint for oss. Litt dårlig frokost , men alt i alt et veldig bra valg. Vi kommer igjen!

Vi hadde et fint opphold på hotellet. Det lå rett ved oxfordstreet. Det var vekdig rent og fint til en rimelig penge, flere spise plasser rett ved.

Hotellet ligger i rolig områded rett ved Oxford street. Masse hyggelige restauranter i nærheten av hotellet. Vi var to eldre barn og to voksne på tur, rommet vårt var et fire-manns rom med god plass. Anbefaler pub'en på hjørnet i retning Oxf. street som frokost sted, hotellfrokosten var fryktelig dyr! £18.50 mot ca £8 for full engelsk frokost.

Et pent og rent hotell, god størrelse på rommene. Noe slitt, men generelt god standard. Perfekt beliggenhet rett ved Oxford stedet men i rolig gate. God service på hotellet, hyggelig betjening og vi fikk sen utsjekk uten problem. Et bra hotell for en weekend i London!

Perfekt beliggenhet. Små senger til barn på 15 og 12 år. Det gikk meget tregt i resepsjonen.

Lontoossa 3tähden hotelliksi ihan hyvä. Lämpimät huoneet ja ystävällinen palvelu. Hotelli sijaitsee lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Oxford Streetiltä. Metroasremalle helppo kävellä.

Vi ankom hotellet med stor spenning, var nok litt skeptiske, da vi vet at standard kan variere mye i London. Men vi ble veldig positivt overrasket, var storfornøyd med rom og beliggenhet. Kan anbefales :) :) Vi kommer garantert tilbake hit.

Hôtel idéalement situe, a proximité d'Oxford Street. Métro a 5mn . Chambres correctes, plomberie un peu vieillissante mais très bonne literie.petit déjeuner correct, copieux et varie.

Bra beliggenhet i forhold til severdigheter og shopping. Stille omgivelser. fint å kunne ta med store barn på felles rom. God variert frokost, men middagen var kostbar og lite raffinert. servicen i restauranten var god.
