Lite gammalt och slitet men trivsamt! Bra service, gott om parkeringar utanför. Perfekt om man har bil eftersom det ligger lite i "utkanten" av stan då man slipper den värsta trafiken. Bra hotell om man reser i affärer, möjligen skulle jag välja ett annat hotell om jag reste med familjen.

Lite gammalt och slitet men i övrigt helt ok. Restauranger och barer för dom flesta smaker och böjelser.

A small comfortable 4 star hotel in mid-town Dubai close to shops and areas of interest. Parking and taxis are very convenient and the exit and entry sliproads onto the SH Zayed Road in both directions is easy. Restaurants and hotel nightlife are reasonable. Service friendly.

A very comfortable hotel with restaurants, a great English pub (The Red Lion Pub), nice pool with swim-up bar, fitness center, spa, and excellent service. Absolutely great accomodation for my 5 days in Dubai. I initially booked 2 nights but ended up extending to 5! Staff, facilities etc were excellent. Shops, ATM and mini mart on site were extremely useful. room was cleaned every night. Really enjoyed the pub, bar and night club. Taxis always readily available. Petrol pump with subway sandwiches close […] by - invaluable for late night feeding frenzy! Short taxi ride to crowne plaza. Bur Dubai and Deira within 30 Dhirams. Loved the whole experience. Old and a little worn down hotel, but service was good, gym nice, pool so so, restaurants bars and nightclub was good - very good location but there is nothing in the surroundings in walking distance - have to rely on taxi. Good for business and with friends, not so good for couples and children

The breakfasts were good but after that the stay went downhill. 1 - A small bottle of water from the bedroom fridge costs £9. 2 -You cannot get a 'red, yellow or blue top ' Taxi. They have there own taxis that are considerably more expensive. 3 - the bedroom bath did not drain away. they corrected this but it should not have happened in the first place. 4 […] -You are out of you room at 12.00. There is no facility room wash, shower, etc.if you are on a late flight. We were on the 01.55 and were left to our own devices to handle it. 5 - They do not tell you that they charge 120 Dirhams to go to the beech resort. When we went, they forgot to pick us up. 6 - Its am OLD hotel, not interested in holiday makers. Its cheaper to go the more modern hotels, i.e. Atlantis, Zebell Saray, Jumeirah Beech and so on. Got a great deal on this hotel, which I chose because it was right in the middle of business bay, a great central location if you want to travel around Dubai. The food was much better than I expected here and the best part was the big pool and gym, which included free weights and machines and even a squat rack. The staff was very friendly. The Hotel staff were very friendly, the room was nice and spacious, however we felt that it was to far away from the shopping and "sights". It was a taxi ride everywhere. There were just as nice hotels closer to the markets or the beach areas.

I arrived at the hotel with a sense of relief having finally arrived after a 6 hour delay at Istanbul. However, from the get go the staff were rude and seemed to be more interested in finishing their activities on the computer screen than helping me. In addition to this both the lifts had an incredibly repugnant smell which would make even the most […] strong person feel nauseous. In the morning I went downstairs to catch a taxi and was ushered to an umarked Lexus that charged me 30 AED in advance to get to the DIFC. On the way back in the evening I caught a marked taxi and found that the total cost was not more than 11 AED for a taxi. Basically, the door staff at the hotel have conspired to defraud the guests at the hotel by directing them to their friends waiting cars so BEWARE of this. As I speak hindi I confronted them and they apologised. It is quite a unique thing to find a hotel where the staff have conspired to actively defraud the guests and this made me very angry and sad at the same time. The food in the actual restaurants is incredibly overpriced- the only place I actually ate any food was the Don Caprioni resteraunt though found the experience more like a cheap Italian rip off than anything genuine. The food was mediocre for the price I was paying (the 25 AED glass of 'fresh' orange juice was lukewarm and smelt dreadful'). There is a Subway 5 minutes from the hotel and I would definitely recommend everyone to go there then eat in the overpriced, poor quality food in the hotel. The internet in the hotel was poor quality, overpriced and broke down so many times I was offered a complimentary breakfast to make up for it. I went to the business centre to access the computer only to find out I had to pay for this too. On accessing the computer I found that it had very recently been used to access pornography and 'naked porn videos' which made the whole area seem quite filthy. A great little resort unlike the massive towers that have popped left and right throughout the city. Friendly staff, nicely appointed room, except that there were no 110V outlets to power my laptop. The concierge sent up an adaptor, but it was the wrong plug type. I had a room facing the pool/bar and unlike other reviewers I didn't find the noise either […] too loud or raucous. The Chinese restaurant, Summer Place, was excellent. Two lows for the hotel were the room carpet condition (stained) and its breakfast buffet (limited number of choices, food was ho-hum and not warm). There are tours available and taxis were plentiful so location is not a big issue if one wants to get out and see the city sights. Available passes to the beaches can be purchased from the hotel and there are scheduled shuttles to take you there. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a well apointed, efficient, friendly place who is not interesting in paying extra for unneeded luxurious settings. Läs mer

I'm a frequent traveler to Dubai and have stayed at many hotels rated 3-5 stars. This one rated at 4 stars was much below expectation. Room furniture & fittings was very old and depreciated (broken wood surfaces, etc.). Toilet drainage was producing noise day & night. Staff were not knowledgeable and lacked experience even with basic tasks like changing […] my flight reservation. There was no Dubai attraction info in the room and they promised to send someone with a booklet upon our request but never did. We left the room in the morning and came back near 4 pm and it was still not cleaned. The location is so cut off and faraway from any amenities. It was not easy to get taxis passing by and we frequently waited for a taxi to pass by while the hotel staff were standing around without offering any help, until we specifically requested them if they could call a taxi which they did. I was not impressed at all. The hotel was not busy and certainly not fully booked yet the two rooms I booked did not get cleaned till the afternoon (every day)!! The cleaning was minimal. I had to ask for connecting rooms to be near my children; rooms were available but the staff would not allow us to take them and had to ask the manager!!!!

The hotel although somewhat dated is extemely functional for transport, taxis are never any problem infact there always a line of them waiting also the 2 biggest malls in the world are only a cuple of miles either side of the hotel namely "Mall of the Emirates" and "Dubai Mall". Hotellet som sådan var udemærket. Værelserne var rene og pæne. og pool området var utrolig lækkert. Vi vil dog ikke vælge at bo der igen. Årsagen hertil er at ALT på hotellet er MEGET dyrt, og der er ingen alternativer i nærheden. Situation of Metropol Hotel is very good, only 15-20 minutes from airport just next to Sheik Zayed Road. Hotel is very clean and personell very friendly. For those who wants to take it easy and enjoy dinner or what ever in the hotel there are Chinese, Indian, Italian and of cource local restaurant in the same complex. Ik zou nooit meer terug gaan naar dit hotel. Jammer genoeg het wa een verkeerde keus. Dat je aan tafel wordt gevraagd om direkt je onbijt te betalen vond ik het heel bizaar en onbeleefd.In weinige woorden, het is een rare hotel en de personeel ook.
