+ centralt, rent - frukosten var sjabbig, kriminella kvarter nära inpå, dåliga resturanger och inget trevligt ställe nära hotellet.

Mycket välskött hotell med bra frukost i priset. Centralt läge i ett hotellområde nära stationen. Vi trivdes utmärkt.

Bra hotell med utmärkt frukostbuffé. Receptionspersonalen var alltid behjälplig vid frågor. Dock är områdena runt stationen inte de trevligaste! Man får hålla hårt i plånboken efter mörkrets inbrott.

Ett hotell som ligger perfekt mitt i Rom. Mindre än 5 minuters gångväg från centralstationen och gångavstånd till hela centarla Rom. Kan inte bli mycket bättre. Hotellet har hög standard med rymliga rum och riklig frukost.

När vi bokade detta hotellet var vi inne på hemsidan som beskriv något helt annat än vad det var i verkligheten,. Kände mig grymt lurad!!! Det var som vilket tidigt 80 tals hotell som helst. Det går inte att fixa till det med några nya lampor i entreen bara. Läget var dock bra, när centralstationen men finns inga mysiga restauranger nära. Fräscht gym […] och bra frukost. Mycket bra standard. Modernt hotell jämfört med många andra i samma område. Stor och god frukostbuffé. Hotellet ligger på gångavstånd från Centralstationen. Det ligger också nära T-banestationen Republica så bil behövs inte. Det finns också några helt ok restauranger i hotellets omedelbara närhet. Jag är 20 år och åkte på denna resan med min mamma, och vi verkligen älskade hotellet! Rummet: Vi hade typen "Superior Room". Jättefräscht! Speciellt badrummet och sängarna (mer åt det hårdare hållet, men sköna tyckte vi). Läge: Väldigt centralt, ca 200-400 meter från tåg -och busstationen. Mellan 1 och 3 km till varje huvudattraktion, Vatikanstaten […] något längre (buss eller metro rekommenderas dit). Frukost: Väldigt stilfull inredning på matsalen, och helt okej frukost. Ganska annorlunda från vår svenska. Yoggi, frukter, färskpressade juicer, ganska mycket sötsaker, pajer m.m., äggröra, prinskorvar osv Personal: Måste säga att de var rätt så stela, speciellt männen. Kvinnorna var trevliga, men männen, framförallt i receptionen, var rätt så stela och tråkiga. Gentemot folket på stan och i Rom i allmänhet som är fullständigt helgoa och trevliga. Men detta hotell rekommenderas absolut! Vi ville inte åka därifrån. Vi tyckte det viktigaste var läget och hur fräscht rummet var, och vi blev inte besvikna! Läs mer

Ligger ca 5 min från Termini. Rent och snyggt. Bra service och trevlig personal. Frukosten är dock lite halvtråkig. Gångavstånd till dom flesta sevärdheter.

Bra läge nära stationen. Fräscha rum och fräsch lobby. Frukost ok. Dock dyrt att använda hotellets datorer (borde vara gratis nuförtiden att få tillgång till internet). Inga internationella tidningar och ingen concierge-service om man är ute efter att få bra tips och service som besökare. Broschyrer om stan finns. Ligger centralt nära till det mesta, bland annat når man centralstation med flygbussar på ca. 5 minuters gångtid. Mycket bra frukost för en turist. Trevligt och vänligt bemötande från all personal. Med största säkerhet kommer min nästa vistelse i Rom med övernattning att förläggas till detta hotell.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Termini Station. After flying to Rome, we took the DaVinci Express to Termini. The hotel about a 10-minute walk from there and is also very close to the Piazza della Repubblica Metro station, which can come in handy. The hotel was very clean throughout, and breakfast was outstanding. We prefer to stay […] a little distance from the major tourist hubs in the city, so this is a good choice. This hotel has all the amenities we Americans expect. Soft beds, fluffy pillows, coffee in the room, english TV channel, great A/C, sound proofing. Lacks the old world charm but after traveling in Europe a while you can appreciate modern amenitites. Very convenient to the train station. Great location 3-4 blocks from the Rome Train Terninal. Very good breakfast. Rooms were clean and functional.

Hotel was well located for travel around rome walking distance to the Termini station. The environment was clean breakfast ok. the rooms were of good standard. On our first night was uncomfortable as the airconditioning system was not working. We informed the reception the next morning and they moved us to a better room. Good customer service. Communication […] was limited for the price paid for this hotel. you get first 30 minutes internet free only on your own lap top and there after its very pricey. Room was clean (though it was the second room we requested because the first room reeked of cigarette smoke). Service was professional and polite. It was no problem switching us to a different room on request. Front desk staff also made reservations for us. The buffet breakfast was good. Booked a junior suite however am not sure that was what I was provided as the room did not match the description. After querying this with hotel staff concierge advised was not a suite however reception were adament that it was. The hotel itself was wonderful. would have been better to stay near some tourist spots as we were only there for a short stay. […] My primary issue was the internet that did not work in the room and had limited bandwidth in the lobby making it extremely difficult to plan the next leg of our trip. The room was very hot, we complained but to no avail The room was barely cleaned daily and the walls were filthy and chipped with certain areas not painted. the drain in the shower constantly backed up and the tub was full of hair. Good choice for a city centre hotel, easy location to get to but can be a bit noisey at night due to traffic so ask for a courtyard facing room if possible. The breakfast is a bit samey each morning and can be very busy after 0900. If you want to use the Internet in your room this is a rip off. However they do provide free (very very slow) access for […] 30 mins in the foyer. Do go out use the buses and trains, these are a bargin and dead easy to use. We went to Tivoli to visit Villa D'Este which was the high light of our stay. Rome is very expensive, I am convinced they charge whatever they can get away with once they scanned you for your dress code! Great hotel front desk. Breakfast buffet was very good. Excellent cappuccinos; I am now addicted to cappuccinos!!! Best part was the breakfast staff...very polite and helpful, especially Renato!!!! He's the best!!!

Nice four star hotel. What you would expect. Comfy bed, good breakfast, good service. Right by train station, and good location (Rome is very easy to get around). About 15min walk to Colosseo and main tourist area. 5min walk to train station. Wlk out main door and turn left - bar/pizza place across road is brilliant.

The location is great, was just a walk away from Termini station and it's not as seedy as I have thought. Very smart, and comfortable business hotel with reliable free wifi in the lobby...great value for money.

It was only about a 10 minute walk to the train station. Very convenient. Friendly and helpful staff and very clean. Would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

This hotel is really well located, with good service, good breakfast. Nothing to complain and no highlights either. Typical four stars hotel. Worth the price.

We stayed here four nights in December 2011 and had a very good time. The breakfast buffet is nice, with yoghurt, cereal, coffe (incl. a variety such as cappuchino etc.)/tea/juice, bread, fruit, bacon, egg, sausage. Toaster is missing though. No Chinese (noodles, rice) etc if you are looking for that. WiFi is provided free of charge in the lobby and […] breakfast area, but you need to get the WiFi code from the reception (and it only lasts 30 min). So we always took 3-4 codes at the same time (which is no problem). Location is convenient. 3 min walk from Termini train station (where the trains from the airport arrive) and the bus terminal (with bus directly to e.g. Vatican). Läs mer

This hotel is excellent, close to Statzioni Termini, but keep an eye on your handbag as one of our party has their purse and phone stolen by a pickpocket at the Termini. Staff were excellent at the hotel and recommended 2 restaurants for our party to go to . We were given an upgrade to deluxe rooms, which were very spacious and quiet and clean, nice […] robes and slippers also in the room. Breakfast okay, plenty to eat but if you want toast or boiled eggs you have to ask for them. Breakfast tea was in short supply in the rooms, you couldn't even get it from reception. Hotel location ok for the most part. (Termini - Easy to find when you arive from train. Also City bus nearby.(a lot of walking anyway in Rome). Very good cleaning of the room, and a good breakfast. The Hotel is very clean with spacious lobby. We walked to the Colosseum and to Trevi Fountain. It is in a great location next to the train station if needed. there are also scooter rentals near by. The Washington Bar/ Restaurant on the corner has great food as well as all the other near by restaurants. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very […] friendly and helpful with directions etc. I would definitely stay there again. I have recommended this hotel to coworkers and friends. Only had 1 issue with a room (911) that was next to some kind of generator that made some noise that kept us up at night, they promptly changed our room the next morning. The staff/hotel was very accommodating to our needs. The windows in the room are huge and open for some fresh air. Some of the rooms have a terrace with a small table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the view. All in all my wife and I enjoyed this trip greatly and loved this hotel and Rome. There are many hotels, but as we looked into them as we passed, we noticed none of them had such a large and comfortable lobby as this hotel. The bar is small with just one bartender so you may have to wait a little for a drink, but the service is always friendly and that’s where we also got some info on the local restaurants and just plain friendly conversation. This hotel is about 35 – 40 minutes from the Fiumicino airport, which cost about 50 to 55 Euros for two. There are other taxi services available. From the airport we just got our bags and started looking for transportation and we were approached by a taxi van and we took it. They brought us to the front door of the hotel. There were other passengers with other destinations on the same trip. The driving was CRAZY, and I live in NY so beware and wear your seat belt. Also the best advice for walking around we got was when crossing a street, at a crosswalk, hesitation kills. Just keep walking and get on the sidewalk as soon as you can. Very good hotel, we even had a nice little balcony. The room was very clean and spacious. Great service, friendly and the receptionists were very helpful. Although the immediate area isn't that nice, it's very close to most touristy attractions and everything was within walking distance. I'll stay there again and I would recommend it to friends and […] family. Only reason I am giving it a 4 is because the decor was very dated and some waitresses at breakfast were a bit rude to us. We stayed at Starhotels Metropole for 9 nights. The room was exactly what I expected based on information on the Hotels.com website as well as the hotel's website. The room was spacious by European standards, the bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. The breakfast was a great bonus and the buffet has a wide variety of food to satisfy most […] travelers needs, not to mention that the coffee was excellent. We utilized the main termini frequently so this hotel was well situated for us. Our room faced the courtyard so it was very quiet even when we left the windows open. We would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs to be close to the termini. Läs mer

This is a very nice, comfortable hotel near the train station (though a bit too far to walk if you have heavy luggage). The staff was helpful and courteous. Have only good things to say about this hotel. There was 3 of us sharing a room and it was spacious and comfortable for us all. Really clean room and the bathroom was spotless too, we had a bit of trouble sorting out the air conditioning but it was fine in the end. The breakfast was excellent, a wide variety of food and drink to cater for all needs. […] Staff were friendly and very helpfull. Excellent accommodation, well situated for all the sites. Excellent service, wonderful breakfast. Will stay here again when next in Rome.

After a wonderful, but exhausting day, we arrived at our hotel not really sure what to expect. We were extremely happy with the hotel. It is well presented, the room was very comfortable, and the hotel was in close proximity to an excellent restaurant. We had a thoroughly pleasant stay.

The hotel location was really very convenient, close to the centre with vecinity to both taxis and the terminal. The service and cleaness were really impressive. However the only drawback was the breakfast; which was not up to the standard. This should be improved with more given attention to varaities of the food. Great hotel close to Rome termini +-400 meters. Room recently refurbished, large and comfortable. Bathroom superb. Staff helpful but the telephone took precedence to me standing at the counter. The breakfast was great a wide selection and great quality. I would recommend this hotel and definitively stay again.

Nice hotel with with attractive rooms and good bathrooms. Walking distance to the central train station, and also the metro system. Not really walking distance to any main attractions. Area near the train is not too attractive.

This was a great hotel! We really enjoyed staying there. It was close to the train and Metro station. We walked there from the train and had no trouble finding it. They were so nice. We arrived about noon and they found us a room that was ready. This has never happened before on any trip we have made to Europe. Most hotels let you store your baggage […] and check in later. We were able to go to the room, shower and change and then go out and see some sites feeling refreshed. The breakfast was very good. There was a huge dining room and so many things to choose from.
