Svårt att hitta något negativt förutom läget om man vill in till Bintang. Lite för långt i värmen att gå, men taxi är billigt. Toppboende, toppservice och hög klass på deras restauranger.

Bodde 2 nätter på detta fina hotell, superbra service från incheckning till avresa. Frukosten var en av de bästa buffeér som jag sett till vilket inkluderar en chokladfontän och allt annat man kan tänka sig. Vi bodde fem nätter i ett Horizon Executive rum. Vi reste med vår 7 månader gamla son. Barnsäng fanns tillgänglig. Kocken på Horizon Loungen var mycket vänlig och tillagade barnmat åt vår son som vägrade äta burkmat. Rummet var normal stort, fint badrum och mjuk säng. Frukosten serverades på Horizon Lounge, med både asiatiskt och västerländskt utbud. […] Vi beställde middag via room-servicen två kvällar och var mycket nöjda med maten båda gångerna. En kväll åt vi den internationella buffen som serverades i restaurangen i lobbyn. Buffen kan också rekommenderas. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående. Vi var mycket nöjda med hotellvistelsen. Hotellet ligger på promenadavstånd från KLCC Suria shopping center. Trafiken är mycket livlig kring hotellet men det är inget man störs av inne på hotellet (inte i alla fall på vån 23). Läs mer

ett underbart hotell med all tänkbar service och faciliteter. Gillade skarpt deras fitnesscenter och goda frukostar. Bra läge och lätt att promenera om man vill till många olika sevärdheter. Du får mer än förväntat i jämförelse med kostnaden. Vi bodde under samma resa på Shangrila hotel i Singapore, dubbelt så dyrt lite äldre hotell men annars jämförbart […] i alla avseenden. It was just what I needed after a gruelling adventure holiday. The bed and pillows are pur luxury, they turn your bed down at night. The massage at Fitness Club was wonderful. Breakfast glorious.

Great hotel deserving of 5 star rating. Excellent service. Nice pool, gym and spa. Excellent range and quality of in-room and restaurant dining. Amazing breakfast buffet. Close to monorail and metro rail services. Near to major shopping centre (KLCC) and bars for coffee, shopping and drinks.

Great place to stay in KL. The hotel has a fantastic garden and a nice swimming pool where one can relax after visiting the city. Nice buffet breakfast. Very comfortable rooms. Great location just 5 minute walk from Petronas Towers. very friendly and helpful staff.

The turning-in of the beds at night is especially impressive.. the bedroom slippers were laid on each side of the bed and having a beautifully designed bookmark placed on the duvet is something else.. marvellous thought

Great location with monorail stn nearby. Walking distance to the Tower and KLCC shopping mall. Wonderful lobby bar and lounge with live music every night. Very helpful concierge desk. Hotel staff friendly and efficient

My room door was broken, could not look the door. I report that reception desk around 6 pm before I went out to dinner. At 3:00 pm I have 3 drunk girls getting into my room, I try to push them out, but they did not care, used the bathroom for around 5 min. I called from desk for help, nobody show up, after that they girl went to room next to mine, very […] noise until 5:30 nobody in hotel did anything. A superb hotel with fantastic attention to detail. Second stay there in a year and the standard was as high as ever. Breakfast buffet is wonderful and where else would you get 2 chocolate fountains? Arthur's Bar was as good as before and the steaks as juicy but the short rib wins every time. Staff are all polite and bend over backwards to help you. […] The monorail is 5 minutes walk away which is a great gateway to explore the city. From the moment we checked in, the service shown to us at the Horizon Club was amazing. It was our anniversary and we were given flowers on arrival, and a small chocolate torte was delivered to our room that evening. The staff really went out of their way to assist and serve - we were unable to get a hire car on short notice, so one of the staff made […] some phone calls and organised a car for us through some contacts she had. Don't miss the afternoon tea and cocktail hour each day!! Excellent gym (the best we have seen in KL hotels). The breakfasts in the main restaurant have an incredible variety. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel for 3 nights on the 2-5th April 2013. This place is amazing from the time you arrive to the time you leave. The staff are the most impressive I have ever come across. Daniel at Reception was outstanding, giving us an upgrade for our anniversary plus chocolates and a cake waiting in the room...nice touch. The room is […] very spacious, bathroom marble and clean. The Breakfast, Well you will have to see for yourself, no words can describe the selection but a mention to Noritha for her professionalism. There is nothing they won't do for you, just get your map out and within a second they are there to help, it's mind blowing. The pool was mentioned in other reviews as small, Are you serious!! I have stayed many places and this isn't small. There is a free shuttle bus that take you on a small loop, pretty much what you want to see except China town for the cheap shopping good but that is only a 2.10 Ringett Monorail trip each way and pretty much close to them. We stayed at the Shangri La for 3days on our way home from a 3week holiday travelling in Sri Lanka. This was a fantastic luxury transition back to our real world. Couldn't fault the Shangri La. wonderful room, service was great and we were within walking distance of major shopping centre and the monorail stations.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were consistently friendly, helpful and polite and even took the trouble to find out and remember the details from our names down to how we took our coffee! The food was varied and delicious with plenty of healthy, fresh options available. Highly recommend upgrading […] to the Horizon Club you will not be disappointed with the facilities, food and drink on offer plus the views from the rooms are outstanding. The gym and pool facilities were fantastic, clean and modern and we loved the little touches such as the iced water, towels and apples that were brought to our sun lounger. Rooms are spacious, clean and with all the expected mod cons plus loads more such as a Nespresso machine and L'Occitane goodies in the bathroom. The hotel is fantastically located near the city centre with the Petronas Towers, KL Tower and all the major shopping malls just a short walk away. The rooms were nice, the service great, but hey, WHY IS EVERYONE SMOKING IN THE LOBBY??The air was thick with cigarette fumes and the stink stuck to my clothes. Couldn't even conduct a meeting in the lobby lounge without someone next to me lighting up. Thumbs down!

Like coming home. Warm welcome, great service. Well equipped gym. I left my mobile phone behind when I left and didn't realise until I got to the airport. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful & I was very grateful to be re-united with it!

Excellent hotel. We upgraded to the Horizon Club - superb. Spacious rooms, with 2 large beds and very comfortable - complete with a dressing table, desk, large flatscreen TV, mini-bar, coffee/tea making plus even a capsule type coffee maker with several kinds of coffee, replenished daily. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower with good toiletries […] supplied. The upgrade included a good hot /cold buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails. The latter both had finger-food - an excellent selection of sweet and savoury, all mouth watering, dishes! The Club lounge was well planned and comfortable - the only very slight complaint we had overall was that although we didn't FEEL watched, every time we finished something, someone was there to clear plates etc. Just a touch too much we felt. That sounds rather picky but nowhere is completely perfect. The public areas were very well laid out and furnished - 2 gardens with fountains, a maze, a great swimming pool area in a very well-planted area with all the beds, mattresses and towels needed. On an afternoon we were offered iced water, ice creams etc - a very nice touch. All the public areas except the Horizon Club room were available to all guests.The hotel provides a free shuttle service around the shopping malls several times a day. Amazing service, breakfast had everything you would want. Complementary water daily. Free wireless Internet. Everything was perfect except the location which could have been better because it was not as close to the shops/food as the Marriott/Ritz Carlton or Grand Millennium, although having said this reflected in the room rate.

We have enjoyed our stay at Shangri-La. I have to say that the hotel was below the expectation but it does provide all the 5-Start services with high quality. What you are going to like there is excellent team they have and the continues smile you see all the time.
