Klassiker med fint läge på Dublins största gata. Det finns shopping och restauranger riktigt nära men är ca 15 min promenad till finshoppingen omkring Grafton street och Temple bar district. Ett tips är att boka rum utan frukost och istället ta den på The Maypole, en canteen 100 m längre ner på gatan vid Henry street. Stora och ljusa rum, bra utrustning […] och fin städning. Had a lovely stay. Hotel was really lovely and we were delighted with the room. Would definitely stay again.

A great spot to hang out and people-watch. Old style glamour!

The electricily when off at 8am that morning and were still not back at 2pm and all we got was a sorry but the ESB did manage to restore one half of the hotel, it was a disgrace old people had to try and walk down the stairs themselves, it runied my Christmas break away and I will not be returning to that hotel again.

To have the best location for a hotel in city centre, the basics also need to be right. Our stay on 16th Dec was let down by lack of heating, so reception had to give us portable heater for room. Bar service was also a bit lacking in hospitality and speed. The premises was in very good condition and clean.

Even at the knock-down price, not good value for the money.

Had requested a non-smoking room but was told that it was not available on check-in.

A really beautiful hotel, excellent staff and the food and atmosphere were a marvle to enjoy, we will be back and will bring friends there also

No complimentary newspapers, no biscuits with tea in the room - this is the first hotel I've stayed in,where these are not available as standard - even in much cheaper hotels.

My stay at the Gresham was amazing. Greeted by a great friendly staff, the hotel looks warm and very welcoming! Very conveinent if your barely coming from Dublin airport. The Gresham is very near by Trinity College, the main post office, Temple Bar and Henry street where you can do lots of shopping! If your needing a taxi, it's just across the street, […] if you need the tourist information center, there is one located about four businesses away from the Gresham and there is another located on the other side of the street (Henry street & O'Connell street). I was in Dublin (alone) for the first time ever in October and I stayed two nights at the Gresham ... best decision ever! Plenty of pubs and places to eat, and if you need to catch a bus, coach and taxi ... it's very nearby the hotel! Happy travels! Läs mer

A very comfortable hotel, convenient to public transport and shops. Efficient and friendly service. Good value for money.

The rate wasn't super expensive but it also was not a great value considering how old and beat up the rooms are. They are clean and free wifi are big pluses. Staff is super friendly. So if you can get it a price you like - reserve a room - the good location and friendly staff are worth it.

We checked in at about 13:30 on Sat. 12th. Nov. The girl at the reception was most helpful and did all she could to make sure we got the best room available on that day.The room wasnt quite ready so we left our luggage with the porter. he was most helpful as well. Overall we enjoyed our night very much and hope to go back adain.

Hotel had a good location near all the bars and site seeing- very clean and comfortable. Staff was great

Central location, close to all amenities, great value, clean, good ambience

A central location and classy lobby and bar area unfortunately does not make up for dated rooms and facilities. Very disappointed, had expected so much more from this hotel.

Recently stayed in the Gresham for the Dublin Marathon. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Our room was facing o connell street and we knew it would be noisy but on a bank holiday sunday night it was extremely noisy so didnt really sleep very well. The breakfast was very expensive i paid 8 euro for a cup of tea and two slices of toast!!!!! […] A continental breakfast was 14 euro, we thought that was a bit crazy! Overall its very convenient and we would stay there again, but definitely get your breakfast in the Kylemore down the street!! Läs mer

Great hotel for location and comfort - close to everything without being in the centre of some party areas which are notoriously noisy and bad when you want to sleep. Free wifi in the room was great too.

A real enjoy to stay at the Gresham, Great Irish breakfast, the only thing is its a bit steep at 19.95 Euros....

Was a little jaded. Had superior room and although comfortable it was overlooking rear service lane and very noisy at night. The windows did not close properly, being old. Air con is OK but old and hard to control. Bathroom needed updating. Rang for room service and it took 20 mins with no answer. Very limited room service menu. Not really very 4 s […] tar. Läs mer

We had not stayed in Dublin for 40 years so the lack of knowledge of the new city led us to our historic view that it had to be the Gresham. We were not disappointed. This is the place for the history and style of a grand old era. Staff, public rooms and central location are great. Bedroom was ok but a little odour of the years hung around. Would we […] go again. Absloutely. O'Connell Street has gone down a bit but Henry St just round the corner is now the shopping place. Chester Beattie library is the must not miss tourist spot. Läs mer

All aspects of the hotel were great but I was disappointed that they were unable to cater for my special need as a person with a disability. I telephone for some special assistance and they just said "No". No alternative was suggested.

The hotel is in a convenient location, but I would not rate it as 4 star. The beds were not very comfy and the the room could use a refresh.

Clean, spatious, but linens look outdated.

Wonderful location. Close enough to the fun but still quiet at night when sleep is appreciated. The lobby was quite nice, but the room itself was average at best, hence the rating.

We were placed in rooms that were rather noisy ( air con etc) but with a quick call to Reception were moved to a quieter area. Excellent no fuss service Thank you

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I were allowed to check in earlier than 3 which was a great help. They answered any questions we had and made us feel welcomed.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, bus for airport & sightseeing stops right outside. The rooms are lovely & spacious. We were woken up by seagulls each morning at 5am but didn't mind. The bar is nice but pretty expensive- 12 euros for half a pint and a small glass of wine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin.

It is right O'Connel street and across from the historic GPO. The along O'Connel can get a little rough later at night but there are lights. The hotel is traditional looking but many of the modern conviences. The one area they can work on is the comfort of the beds. Other then the stay was perfect and what is need in Dublin.

Really nice, clean and a pleasant stay

This was a great hotel for our weekend in Dublin. The hotel is full of character yet the room was very modern and very spacious looking out onto O'Connell St. The position was very handy for the hop on hop off bus, walking down to Temple Bar and the bus from the airport stops just round the corner. Good pubs roundabout if you don't want to stay in the […] hotel. Lastly, but important the staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. When back in Dublin I will have no hesitation in staying at the Gresham. Läs mer

Clean -wonderful they gave us an upgrade since they saw that our reservation was for 5 nights all were curtious helpful location was a big plus it made our vacation truely wonderful

Do not stay at The Gresham, it is appalling. At check in we were told our room was ready. We got to our room & there was cleaning equipment in the bath, pillow cases lying on the floor & it was generally dirty. We had to carry our own bags back all the way to reception & told to check in later, this was 4pm! I then had to take our bags all the way to […] another room that was miles away from reception. This room was tiny & very loud, the shower was not working correctly, generally very disappointing. Finally breakfast was not served until 7.15am which was far to late for us because we had an early flight. The one highlight is definitely the afternoon tea that was delicious. Läs mer

The Gresham is a well-known hotel in the Dublin area and provided a comfy and close stay to all attractions within the Dublin area. It is within walking distance of the Temple Bar night life and is located in the center of the city. Downsides include the noisy city sounds and our room was located right next to the elevator that ran all night. The hotel […] itself also seemed old and we had some difficulty with old water pipes that caused for Luke-warm water until the pipes were thouroughly warm. Overall, a very good hotel that includes a bar, restaurant and a awesome concierge and front desk staff who were helpful for tourist attractions. Läs mer

This is a very comfortable hotel. It's location on Upper O'Connell Street makes it accessible to everything. We walked to all the major sites. The hotel bar is a wonderful place to relax and have a drink with friends. Highly recommended.

the hotel is beautiful and in a superb location. Our room was small and there were no extras, like hairdryer, coffee maker, etc which was unlike a four star hotel. we were not impressed with the room but enjoyed the convienence of being right in the heart of downtown Dublin
