Hotell Five Continents Bed and Breakfast - New Orleans

Vi hade läst recensioner om att det skulle vara bra men det var bättre! För det första så var läget helt perfekt med lugnt område men promenadavstånd till French Quarters. Sedan fick vi egen svit och balkong att sitta ute på. Men det bästa var nog frukosten. Vi fick en meny att välja hur vi ville ha äggen tillagade. Värden som också var kock i den franska […] skolan lagade fantastiska rätter. Vilken hollandaisesås!! tillsammans med pocherade ägg och räkor och kronärtskocka....mm underbart! Värden var så otroligt tillmötesgående, gav tips om allt möjligt. Inredningen i huset var så tjusig och allt var fräscht och rent.Kan verkligen varmt rekommendera detta hotell. Thank you Peter!! I have only great sings to say about this place. So worth the price I paid. The new owner are really friendly and helpful. Only a 5 minute cabride or a nice healthy walk from the French quarter. Breakfast excellent. The rooms are one of a kind. Beautifully decorated. I'll come back again for sure.

We had a very enjoyable stay in the Asian suite. The daily breakfasts were delicious, our room was very nice and the included gated parking was wonderful.

I just learned this after I stayed there for two days. Peter, the new owner, served the same good breakfast, and is also knowledgeable in local area , so I just assumed he is the one every other reviewer talked about. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy at first site but felt safe walking back at night. Not too bad of a walk to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. It's a good way to walk off the extra calories from all the good food and drinks. The owner was very nice and helpful with suggestions on where to eat. He also made an excellent breakfast. Stayed […] in the cottage was was really nice. It's not very big but has a nice patio and a good working AC. This is a gem of a place. Jess, the proprietor, is a wealth of information about the best restaurants to go to and things to do in the city, not to mention he is a fabulous cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again. What a bargain!!

This was our first stay at this fabulous bed and breakfast hotel, but it definitely won't be our last. Jess, the owner, was the consumate host with great dining and site seeing suggestions. He served breakfast at a time that was convenient to us and both the quality and variety of the meal was superb. While reading the reviews for this hotel, we were a bit skeptical that it was really 5 star worthy, however, I could not agree more with the other good reviews. This place was incredible. The owner's personal service and recommendations of things to see and do in New Orleans were right on the money. The breakfasts he prepared were incredible and he […] was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule. We even ate at separate times one morning, which was no problem. The bed was comfortable, the room temperature well controlled, and the original features of the house were wonderful. The TV in our room was small, only 13 inches, but we did not watch much TV in this crazy city! Although the surrounding area is not the best, the hotel has gated entrances to both the front door and the parking lot, so we never felt anything but safe during our stay. If we ever visit the NOLA area again, we will most definitely be staying at the Five Continents. No other hotel could possibly compare! Läs mer

Jess, the innkeeper was outstanding in every respect. He was there for us 150%, could'nt ask for a better host. The hot breakfast was great. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone that visits New Orleans.

Five Continents is gevestigd in een mooi opgeknapt mansion. De inrichting is helemaal in de oude stijl. Wij waren een van de eerste gasten van de nieuwe eigenaar. De verzorging, met name het ontbijt, was erg goed: specifieke wensen konden ingevuld worden. Probeer de gekruide omelet met spek: erg lekker! De eigenaar was verder ook erg behulpzaam bij […] het bezoeken van bezienswaardigheden. Het B&B ligt op een stukje lopen van French Quarter, dit is heel goed te doen. Voordeel is dat je 's nachts geen last hebt van lawaai e.d. Wij hadden de Eurasian suite. Deze is lekker ruim (bestaat eigenlijk uit twee kamers met een aparte badkamer). De kamer was prachtig gedecoreerd. In de koelkast staat frisdrank die je gratis mag gebruiken. Al met al hadden we een heel prettig verblijf en we kunnen Five Continents dan ook van harte aanbevelen.
