"Very comfortable!"
The beds are wonderful. Dave the bartender was great. The second night had some problems with the noise due to a frat formal. The breakfast buffet was great would love to stay again. Had no trouble getting around the city.
"downtown omaha"
Excellent Hotel within walking distance of the market & the event center. Very pleased with all aspects of our stay. I would say for the money it was excellent but the price was just a bonus. Very happy and would book again.
"Nice place"
The weather was nice so walking several blocks to Old Market and also Convention center wasn't a real problem. Our room was comfortable and roomy, pillows and bed were great. We would definately stay again.

"Walking distance to Old Market"
Good location. Lots of restaurants downtown. Close to zoo and museums.
The customer service was fair, room cleanliness fair as well as other accommodations. We did, however, pick this particular hotel because of the pool. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the pool with kids in tote, it was completely filthly. It was like a diaper had exploded on the top of the water. The front desk was notified and we were told that someone […] was coming to clean the pool. Unfortunately, no one showed. Not sure I could have gone in after what I saw anyways. Läs mer

"staffing levels"
upon arrival there were about 25 parties waiting to check in and there were only 2 staff at the check in desk. another staff member came out of a locked office behind the desk and quickly went back in. the check in staff should also inform customers that they need the parking lot card when they leave after their stay to avoid paying twice for parking. the […] shuttle service was fantastic! "Poor Practices"
The room was very noisy from people walkng upstairs, next door and upstairs. I would not have expected to be able to hear other occupants but it woke us up. Trays of dirty dishes were on the floor in the hall when we checked in and were still there with more added when we checked out. A health issue. It was not as if no one came to the room to deliver […] food. They just did not pick up the empty trays. Gross Läs mer
"Dbl Tree Downtown"
Construction going on while i was there, so it was difficult to relax during the day. Had some room issues, and despite 4 calls, talking to 3 different people, they were unable to get me to the requested room.....boo. However, everyone was super nice, and the room i was in was very clean. I would stay here again, but just wish they could've worked […] out the kinks. Läs mer
"Gross Room"
When I arrived in my room, there was men's body fluids running down the dresser and mirror. There was blood on my sheets. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. The drain stoppers for both tub and sink were left on the counter with hair wrapped around them. There were exposed wires laying on the pipes that fed the water to my sink. I called […] down to the front desk and was left to sit for 3 hours before anyone even acknowledged that there was an issue. "Amazing Staff"
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The night manager was especially helpful in making our stay worry free. Free cookie at check-in too!
"No WiFi??"
I have stayed here twice because it is very nice and relatively close to the Old Market area. However I will never understand why I can get free Wifi with a $2 cup of coffee but not with a hotel room that is many, many times more expensive. How does that make sense???

"DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Omaha"
This is a beautiful and comfortable hotel in a clean and seemingly safe neighborhood, although we noticed the neighborhood deteriorates rapidly about one half mile west of the hotel. It's a little pricey, but worth it for the quality of the hotel and services.
"Omaha for Steely Dan"
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it the best value for the downtown area if you're only there for a night or two. Very clean, if somewhat dated, and easy to walk to Orpheum, etc.

Good rates. Appreciated the covered parking adjacent to the hotel, as we arrived in between hail storms and downpours! The extra touches like the "warm chocolate cookies" and the "flavored waters" in the lobby were extra special. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very accommodating.
"Nice place to be stranded"
The only thing wrong with the place was no fridge or microwave in the room. The bar didn't have NFL network.
"The Doubletree"
I can understand the parking garage charge as the garage is owned by the Bank, not the Doubletree, but that doesn't mean I have to like paying per night for parking. I also didn't like being charged for the use of the internet on my own computer. Otherwise, it was comforatble, clean and convenient.

EVERYTHING IS FABULOUS ABOUT THIS HOTEL EXCEPT THE TV REMOTE DID NOT WORK---PROBABLY DEAD BATTERIES--- SO COULD NOT WATCH TV. CALLED FRONT DESK BUT NOTHING WAS DONE DURING OUR STAY.

"Doubletree Downtown Omaha"
One of the worst hotel stays ever! The hotel was undergoing renovation. The noise level was horrendous, and went from 0900 to 1800 daily including the weekend. When getting ready to check-out there was no water. The water stayed shut off for over an hour. Maids did not empty waste baskets, nor vacuum. We would never stay here again.

Place was nice, but took forever to check in. We didn't get the room we were hoping for-but that was booking through hotels.com. No fridge or microwave, and no outlets!! I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. The shuttle service was very convenient and the drivers were nice. I was just hoping to get more for what I paid for.
"Convienent for concert"
We were in Omaha to see a show at the Orpheum. This Hotel was well within walking distance so we didn't have to mess with moving our car. However, there didn't seem to be many choices for eating out or nightlife right around the hotel itself. This doesn't have much to do with the hotel but, it was a little dissapointing to us. "Loud A/C"
The hotel is obviously a little older and it is showing in places. We stayed here a couple months ago and had no complaints but this time our room A/C was very loud (keeping us awake most of the night) but it was so warm we had no choice but leave it on. When we told the front desk about it, the woman working didn't seem to care and I am almost certain […] she made no note or told anyone. "DoubleTree Omaha - Excellent Service"
We were only there for one night, but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's within walking distance of the Old Market district. The rooms are slightly outdated, but very comfortable and nice. We would definitely stay here again.
"Doubletree in Omaha - comfortable and convenient"
If you're heading to Omaha for an event at the Quest Center, or shopping in the Old Market area, the Doubletree is a comfortable, close and affordable option. The only negative aspect of my recent stay was my attempt to have dinner in the dining room; after waiting nearly an hour and a half, with only silly, made-up excuses ("There was a communication […] break-down in the kitchen.") Excellent hotel willing to accomodate groups of teenaged girls for dance competitions for Music Hall. Within walking distance of Music Hall, Quest Center, and Orpheum Theature.

Big differnce between smoking rooms and non smoking except price. Nonsmoking rooms are beautiful all new furnishings - smoking rooms are outdated and have not been remodeled yet but you will be charged same amount.

Was in Omaha for a show at the Quest Center and the DoubleTree provided everything we expected. Right from check-in, which went smoothly, to our depature we were treated like first class customers. The only things I didn't exactly like were the fact that there was a $7 per night parking fee which I think should just be added into the room rate, and […] the pillows were too small for my liking. "Unable to controll air unit"
Ive worked in a hotel for a about 4 years and this one is right on par for its price range as far as affordability and convenience. A lot of the rooms are slightly dated compared to many brands that have began to renovate and install newer appliances such as TVs, fridges, etc. The only problem was the air unit. When we got back to the room at night […] we turned up the heat a little to warm up, but it never stopped when we tried to put the temp back at a more comfortable level. Heat kept pumping regardless of the setting and eventually in the middle of the night we just shut it off all together and opened a window to cool down. (In February) . The unit was also extremely loud. Between the noise and uncontrollable heat, it made for a pretty long night. Im sure this isnt the case for all rooms, just a bad experience on my part. Läs mer

"Great Place"
Great location and a great room. I have stayed in several hotels over the past few months and this was by far the best experience I have had.
