Ett mkt prisvärt hotel när flygplatsen i san fransisco. Standarden på rummet var bättre än förväntat med tanke på det låga dygnspriset.Bra sängar, rent och städat, snabb hantering i den dygnet runt öppna receptionen. Bra med fri transfer till flygplatsen

Klart värt pengarna! Inte ett jättestort rum, men om man åker till SF för att sitta på hotellrummet tror jag man kommer billigare undan med att stänga in sig i ett rum hemma! ;) Bra läge precis brevid Union Square och nära till all shopping och dom gamla spårvagnarna går smidigt hela vägen bort till Fishermans Wharf.

Nära till hållplats för Cable car, gör det smidigt att ta sig till centrum. nom promenadavstånd till fisherman's warf. Stora rum. Mycket trafik på Lombard Street dagtid, men den störde oss inte på natten. Bra parkering i husets källare till för SF rimligt pris.

Charmigt hotel i gammal Amerikansk stil som förflyttar dig till 1940 talets filmer. Inrett med behagliga färger och med gamla inramade posters. Egen populär restaurang Milennium i hotellet. Hotellet ligger farligt nära uteliggarna i denna delen av San Francisco, så när man lämnar hotell gå mot Union sguare så blir allt bra.Verifierad gästrecension

Hotellet är inte ett lyxhotell men inte hellre något skräpställe. Vi var jättenöjda med våra fem nätter. Bra service och helt okej rum. Stället ligger också bra med enbart några minuters promenerande till Powell-stationen och spårvagnarna och Union Square. "Smaller than I thought"
The hotel is ok, but for the price, the rooms are extremely small. Also the walls are paper thin. There was a restaurant outside my room and even though I was on the 3rd floor, I could here conversations word for word. I was kept awake unitl 1-2am by how loud it was outside. We loved the fact that this is an old hotel. That is to say, it was charming and cozy. The staff were fantastic...always ready to help, offer a tip, store our bags after we checked out (we had a red-eye flight out), We also loved the central location. We walked everywhere!! The included breakfast was extraordinary. It had fresh-made waffles, eggs, ham, […] all kinds of cereal and breads, yogurt, just to name some of the items! The room was very bright and the bed was very comfortable. The only down side was that the room was a little on the cool side. We were there in early January and the in-room heater worked, but just didn't seem able to put out quite enough heat. Then again, San Francisco was under an unusual cold spell while we were there. Everything was pretty nice about this hotel except the room and the neighborhood. We paid a lot for a Suite that turned out to be two small rooms connected by a small hallway and a bathroom. "Average hotel with charme"
The Hotel has its charme for sure. Very antique and oldfashioned. Room was very small and smelled like used socks when you enter it. Bed was not so comfortable because of soft matress. Bathroom needs an update as well. In the shower there were still hairs from previous guest left. And I really don`t like this. It`s gross. Only one bathrobe. Maybe we […] could have get another one, but why do I have to ask for an additional one, when I book this room for 2 people. Extremely loud - there is an open bar (big) at the inner courtyard. Street noises (from police cars and street cleaning vehicles) are very loud too, but of course it`s downtown and the windows are old fashioned too. Some stuff members were very helpful and some not so. Everyday different one. Breakfast is continental. I did not like the coffee at all. Aweful taste. I guess it was starbucks. We liked our room, it was cute, clean and had a lot of character. The wooden floors were quite special, along with the huge windows. The staff were very helpful and nice. I loved the hotel, its not for children at all. because the roms are small n cozy. Book this is its just for you and your sweetie, no kids.... This hotel is located in the heart of downtown so if you DONT like noise dont book here, we njoid it very much. They serve a nice breakfast thats free but we tried DOTTIES which is in walking distance for breakfast […] is a must go to, you will have a line but the food and service was well worth the wait, must go see Beaches of Babylon excellent play I must say, Tim, & Baji at the front desk were great!! Dont rent a car if you plan to tour Alcatraz unless you dont like to walk, we walked there it took us 30 min exactly to the pier leave hotel make a left out front door make a left on Stockton and keep it straight down to the pier, no hills or nothing. I visited the Best Western Hotel California for 6 days to attend a conference at the nearby Moscone Conference Center. I wanted to stay closer to the Center, but the hotels were booked up. The walk was not bad though, about 20 minutes, and you get to pass by Union Square and see some of SF's famous trolleys go by. The hotel itself is very clean, and […] I found the staff to be helpful and courteous. The only negative thing I have to say about my experience was that the surrounding area is a bit sketchy at night. Many drifters and street noise, so I might not recommend this if you are traveling with a family. But I travelled by myself and never felt unsafe, just a bit more cautious than normal. Our family of 5 stayed here in August and we had a wonderful experience. Had the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect. The central location was great, the breakfast every morning was delicious.
