The Ramada Inn, Walterboro, SC, was substandard in every way, from the reception (unfriendly; unhelpful), to the room (the pillows looked like they'd had a LOT of hard wear and had been thrown on the bed), to the breakfast, which was inadequate and very messy.

the hotel was clean and easy to get to but the staff was not very helpful when asked about arriving late or changing reservation because of car trouble. Breakfast was not that great.

The Ramada Inn room was comfortable, clean, but just a little in need of sprucing up. Carpeting, drapes, spreads just a little shabby. I would stay again.

I stayed at the Raamada of Walterboro mainly because of its relative value to other hotels on the exit. I was a bit skeptical because of some negative reviews. But considering how popular it was on hotels.com I gave it a shot. The minute I walked in, the service was amazing. The front desk clerk shakira was very friendly and informative. "Free breakfast not open"
At 6 a.m. we went to have the free breakfast and the doors of the office were locked and no one was in sight. Breakfast was suppose to start at 6 and we had a 15 hour trip. We waited 15 minutes and still no one around. I've never been to a hotel with the lobby doors locked!! very poor

Hotel was run down and very dirty!!! It is in desperate need of paint and regular matinence! The rug was dirty and had two large rips in it!! It sure was not vacuumed recently!!! I guess the saying you get what you pay for rings true here!! You are better off paying a little more to get a better room!

The room was a nice size but the bathroom needed to be cleaner. If I had small children I would not bath them in the tub, the ring in the tub looked like it had been there a while. The bathroom counter needed to be wiped down, it looked like someone had spilled lotion on it and tried to wipe it up. The breakfast was ok.

The hotel is conveniently located off I95. However they are in the middle of renovations which are desperately needed. The hotel management and staff are great though and were very friendly and helpful.

There are other hotels nearby for higher prices, I've stayed in this Ramada before and it's perfectly fine. Clean rooms...but of course you can tell it's older just from (visible) wall damage repairs and such. Clean sheets, clean floor, clean sink, clean toilet, and pretty clean showers (with adjustable heads/sprayer). For half the price of some of […] the "bigger" hotels on the other side of the highway it's a no brainer. Cable TV and (supposedly) WiFi. (I didn't use the WiFi, but they said they have it.) The breakfast is always sufficient: eggs, bacon, cereal, pecan twirls, donuts, bread, apple and orange juice, and (my favorite) the waffle maker. It was on way to Florida. Great rate. Room clean and bed firm and comfortable. Hot breakfast not so great. Waffles doughnuts ok. Eggs yuck. Juice good.
"Pleasant overnight stay in Walterboro"
The Ramada Inn has everything you need for a short stay. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. Not too much noise or anything. The outdoor pool was not useable (of course it was cold out) and unfortunately the 'hot breakfast' was all sugary and cheap. Overall the hotel felt safe and the people were friendly.

"slip and fall"
There was condensation on sidewalk My uncle fell and he weighs 400 lbs. Receptionist was very rude ( young girl) said they had survelience I told her to look at tape and watch her tone. It was very upsetting. They better be glad I did not fall and gotten that reception because I would have sued! NOT HAPPY NOT HAPPY NOT HAPPY

"tarpon springs resort"
We found the hotel to be a great place to stay for it's price. The staff was friendly and when we checked in, put us in a different room with a nice view because it was available. We did not hear any noise from the bar and overlooked the pool and waterway.

This hotel was a great stay on our Florida trip.The staff was very friendly,hotel was very clean and the pool was well maintained.We were surprised by the quality of the free breakfast(waffles,eggs,bacon,cereal,rolls,toast,apple and orange juice and coffee).We will stay here again and highly recommend.

"Best bang for the buck !!"
We were in Walterboro for a wedding. It was very hot and my Wife feels sick when we have to stay outside for long periods of time . We checked in went to the room put the air on high. Room was great . We left and when we came back it was Ice cold inside. Perfect . It was everything we expected and more. Breakfast in the morning was great Too.

Bathroom was dirty. Mold under bath mat. Toilet seat broken. Everything very rundown. Out of order signs on both lobby bathrooms.
