Good location for walking to many attractions and shopping. Friendly and helpful staff. One caution though, there is construction going on accross the street and at times it can be noisy. This will likely be the case for the next few months, but the noise is not that bad and it's usually during the day when most people would be out of their rooms.

My friend and I had a great time...couldn't figure out the TV guide very easily though! I look forward to my next stay.

The room we stayed in was on a back alley. Lots of noise from people walking by and car noise. Did not get a good nights sleep! The room had carpets with stains. The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice.

This hotel is good value for right close to town. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming. The room was a double queen which was adequate ( bit small) and though the outlook was road and construction it wasn't noisy. Room was clean and plenty of towells etc. Would recommend.

I was really pleased with the location of the hotel as it was close to where I needed to be. However, there is a massive construction site on the back of the hotel that woke me up at 7am. Not really a big deal, nor entirely avoidable, but when you are on a mini-vacay and looking forward to sleeping in a bit it was mildly annoying. Especially considering […] the price we paid. When I complained at the front desk they just shrugged me off. The desk staff was also a little inexperienced, so checkout was a longer than normal process. Stayed two nights at Quality Hotel in Vancouver BC, this is a nice hotel and the rooms are comfortable. If you take your vehicle they have a secured parking, even though you pay for it per night atleast your vehicle is secure, especially if one is driving a vehicle with foreign country licence plates. Overall a good experiance.

This was such a great experience and I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. The service was wonderful and everyone was so friendly and eager to help. It was in such a convenient location, close to all the downtown hotspots. The rooms were really nice and clean and we had everything we needed.

Overall a nice hotel. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner, which was a bit frustrating. Clean and spacious room. Can walk to just about anywhere.

Seeing as how I booked this hotel based solely on location and other people's reviews on this site...I was definitely a bit nervous. However, my husband and I were quite pleased. Granted, our room overlooked the back alley-this was not a problem noise-wise at all. The Room still got a lot of light. The front desk was very helpful, and even called a […] cab for us for our early morning flight. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, and the room was a good size. You are a pretty close walk to Granville Island, and Yaletown area with some great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Läs mer

The service was excellent The room was exceptional. The food at the Cedar dining room was excellent.

Loved the beds!!! very comfortable with great pillows. will absolutely stay again. also room rate was great.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful, courteous and attentive. But the place is a dump. The lobby had the curbside appeal, but thats where it stopped. A good deal but add the 4th person and it's out of line. Next time I'll spend more and stay at the Fairmont.

It was an older building but very well kept, the caulking was nice and clean (strange to notice i know) and the comforters are white which i LOVE

I've stayed here many times before. I come here mainly because they are pet friendly and their rates are outstanding. The rooms are clean and modern. Frankly, I don't see how they do it.

Had a nice stay here and everything was good except the rooms were a bit dusty. if you have a dust allergy like me, then this could be a problem.

Everything your looking for in a hotel. They are all the same concept and reliability. This was a PEFECT choice, and super cheap price. Will stay again.

Nice rooms at a value price. Not 5 star, but certainly well worth the price compared to others. The front desk was more than helpful when I had questions and needed directions. I would definitely say the front desk was first rate!

An old hotel who can benefit from a little updating but good value, clean, good location, friendly staff. The restaurant serves really good food but no room service.

Hotel was horrible. The floor we were placed on smelled incredibly bad. We had to call management to move us. The parking garage is extremely shady and you have to drive through a shady alley just to get to it. The television remote didn't work a lot of times so you needed to get up and turn off the tv manually. Hotel looks run down and unsafe. Horrible […] lighting in the hallway. It was a nice little hotel with a very welcoming lobby. I liked their business centre with free printing- it's where I printed my flight ticket :)

My family and I stayed her for 21 days (before X'mas 2011 and after New Year 2012) We are very happy with the services and friendly staffs. The room rates are reasonable and clean. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. We have great time staying there and walking distance to the town.

i rented a room by phone for my son and his fiancee for new years eve . the guy i talked to was very nice. but i was not told that there was a hundred dollar deposit needed to be left as security as i was not there with my credit card. there fore they did not get to do some of the events they had planned as they were shorted on their spending money.i […] would think that this should be explained before hand Läs mer

Bit of a dump, get what you pay for?

Within easy walking distance to Granville Isle, the downtown shopping district, short cab ride to the sporting venues. Truly friendly accomodating staff. Clean rooms, safe parking (extra $15/night) and truly friendly and accomodating staff.

The room was a good deal, but it didn't include free parking or continental breakfast; Parking costs $15 a night. I found the decor to be a bit older but still clean. This place is nothing fancy but just OK for the night. I think I will try somewhere else next time.

Only one complaint: the pillows smelled funky, particularly the little decorative pillows. They were comfortable, the bed was comfortable, things were clean and staff was responsive. They gave me directions and ordered a cab for me and I was grateful for all of the service.

Overall, the hotel was acceptable. Quiet. Clean. Rooms were of a decent size. No view for us, but that wasn't important. But the wireless was a disaster. It was sporadic. Kept losing the connection. Would have liked to have been closer to the metro, but the bus stop was quite close and easily accessible. I liked everything about this hotel and the service was both friendly and first rate. There were two things that inconvenienced me; first, my room looked right out onto the street, half a block from the bridge connecting downtown Vancouver to […] south Vancouver, and the traffic noise kept me awake (I am a light sleeper). Second, the water bottles left on the desk weren't free and there wasn't a sign on the desk saying the water price. Granted, I should have looked closer (I found out at checkout that it stated the price on the paper attached to the bottle neck, but this was not obvious and difficult to see). but for the price I paid for the room, charging for the water as well as the room was a little tacky (most 4 to 5 star hotels comp at least two bottles of water as a matter of policy). Much better than the previous hotel we has stayed at in Vancouver, which was in the same area. Very helpful staff and very happy to stay there -. we will stay there again. Didn't use the restaurant as we were out much of the time..
