Super comfortable, convenient, and affordable!

Good location for downtown activities, especially baseball or basketball games. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Otherwise, kind of an older place and not the nicest. Certainly not bad, and for the location the price was the most competitive I could find, but not particularly nice. Gets the job done if you're in town for a night or two.

We weren't in our room much, but the hotel was a good price for being so close to everything... we were able to walk to the baseball game and bars.the bathrooms could use an update..but overall id definitely use your hotel again.

The staff at hotel was very professional and friendly. We only stayed one night as we were visiting our son @ a nearby college. Location was ideal and the rate was budget friendly.

The hotel is a legitimate three star accommodation - nothing fancy but clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is on campus of Cleveland State University. Although the hotel name includes "downtown" it is long walk or a cab or free bus ride to the City center.

Loved the front desk staff here. Convenient location. The only bad thing I can say is hotels.com fault. It reads that there is a $100.00 pet deposit. This is actually a non-refundable fee. The hotels web site is clear but this came as a big surprise.

I had a comfortable stay. Very clean, reasonable parking. Only negative, I hoped to use fitness room, but it was not available. I accidently left a jacket behind and the general manager arranged for it to be sent to me. I received it today. Much appreciated.

We dealt with bad service, the staff was rude, and it was the managers who were the worst! The hotel reeked, not just the main floor or hallways but EVERYWHERE. Our room on the second floor smelled like sewage. The tiny elevators even smelled like trash. Pay the extra $20/night and stay somewhere else. This place is way overpriced for the quality. They […] put no effort in making their guests feel welcomed. Oh, and when they take a credit card to put on file "just in case" be careful, they will charge you a random charge and tell you it was something you did. Desent nights rest. Nice breakfast, not hard donuts and cold coffee but real nice choices. Maid needs to check room better, found a few belongings not ours. And there is a charge for parking (per night) which is not mentioned until check-out. We would stay again. We loved having places to eat right next to the lobby!

This hotel is more than adequate. The staff was very friendly. The included breakfast is an actual buffet rather than a cheap continental. Thre only draw back is the surrounding neighborhood does n ot have too much to offer. Great place if your just passing through.

Stayed for one night only. I was overall very stisfied with the room. Front desk was very kind, prompt attention. Room was clean and morning breakfast was not bad at all. Compared to other hotes that charge twice the price, this is an excellent choice if you are not looking for luxury. Will definetely recommend it and will go back.

My guy and I stayed here two nights - had no problems. The only not even big thing was our clock said 6am when it was 5pm, I reset it, no big deal after that at all. The parking was convenient, not expensive - for one day with in/out privileges. One short block from Peabody's Concert venue (which was great) because he had a concert there one of the […] nights. Close to bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. Traffic wasn't bad at all, even though there was tons of snow. As soon as we got to our room, front desk called to make sure everything was okay. I am HUGE on clean bathrooms... it was great but small. I liked that the mirror/sink was in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable... tv channel selection was small. During our stay, there was not any major problems!!! Book here; if you're not a snob!! Don't be fooled because it's not a "Hilton" hotel. everyone was exceptionally nice and very helpful. was a very nice and comfortable enviroment. very close to so much and would definitly stay again!

People were nice. Sink was cracked and clogged. Beds were very comportable. The room was very noisy. Could hear traffic all night and constant doors closing.

Stayed after a performance at Playhouse square. OK location about two blocks from theaters. Breakfast room hadn't clean tables. Front desk responded quickly to report of dead light bulb. All staff friendly.

This hotel was horrible and it was not cheap as compared to others. Not clean, lazy/sloppy staff, and we did not get the wake up call requested. Not safe area either. Was told it was a non smoking hotel, I was glad I asked to see the room first and could barely breathe because of the cigarette smell which the staff refused to acknowledge. I insisted […] on a room change. The window would not shut and we were exhausted. So, we slept through the pleasant sound of traffic and sirens not to mention the cold wind howling. This was our 24th anniversary and we were in our own little world. Needless to say when the staff learned of our special day they went out of their way to make us feel even more special. THANK YOU...we will be staying here again!

As soon we walked into our room I was blasted by the smell of fresh cigarette smoke smell (I thought this was a no smoking hotel!!). It was worse than just the smell, there was a cigarette burn on the toilet seat, and the chair in the room had a cigarette burn in the middle of the cushion. The tub and sink still had someone' hair in them. The only thing […] good about this hotel is the location. Breakfast was typical for a Comfort Inn. Which was the only thing I appreciated. I didn't complain to the front desk, because any hotel that allows the quality of their rooms to get that bad was unlikely to make the customer happy and probably has staff untrained in making things right. It's apparent quality and cleanliness is not a core business value at this hotel. I would of left this hotel and got another one, had I not been so exhausted from my trip. Läs mer

I usually just think of hotels as a place to sleep at night, but since I've begun traveling more and caring more about where I stay, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. First, Comfort Inn is one of my favorite stays in other cities. This one is older, but well kept up. It was comfy and the staff was very friendly. All basic needs were met. Clean and quiet room, efficient staff. Good breakfast.

This hotel was decent and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, but old and outdated. The breakfast was standard with several choices. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Cleveland.

Nice place- reasonably priced, very clean, conveniently located to many attractions. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good- much better than I had expected.

We went to Cleveland to see at show at the Palace. The hotel location was perfect. It was less than a 10 minute walk. Some have commented that this is not a very good area. I guess that's in the eyes of the behold. It's nestled between CSU & the Theatre District. We had no compulsion about walking after dark. Parking attendant was very nice guy, wished I had tipped him as I felt he was watching out for my Harley, but he was off when I left. Hotel staff was nice & offered to help with directions & advice on dining, etc. Rates were low.

Great stay at this hotel. Great locale, in the heart of downtown and immediately adjacent to the theatre district, the college, and generally a hip cool area. Room was clean as a pin, hotel was bustling with activity. Didn't wake for breakfast, was to comfy! Would stay here again without hesitation.

I needed a room close to downtown for one night because my daughter was filming as an extra. This hotel fit the bill for this occasion. I feel as though parking should be included in the rate and not an additional charge. I was not fond of the parking. The room seemed to be in good condition and clean. I did not turn on the tv so I don't know about […] that. The internet connection worked well for me. I was called after being in the room for a short time and asked if everything was ok. I told them as far as I knew and I said I was just trying to figure out what I would have for dinner. I was told of the surrounding restaurants. Chose to go to Subway. Was looking forward the the continental breakfast because had had a good experience at another hotel in Cleveland Heights but I am sad to say the reviews on this hotels breakfast were right. It was awful. I had to throw it away. The eggs didn't resemble eggs. They were round yellow patties. The sausage was horrible. I did have a bowl of cereal and took home a plain doughnut. This is a nice, affordable option in downtown Cleveland. Hotel is not far from the Jake or the R&R HOF. Staff was competent and friendly. Hotel was clean and well run. Had underground parking which is nice because the neighborhood although not bad, isn't great.

Hotel was better than expected! Hotel servers were nice, room clean, and hotel convenient to downtown attractions/business. Parking more costly than other lots in the area.

The hotel was nice but it need to work on parking.
