Enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the Adult pool. No screaming kids. The room did not have a microwave or refrigerator, which was a disappointment.

Very disappointed with just about everything! Terrible food, bad service, dirty pool, and most of the amenities offered on website were not available or open! We had exceptionally bad service at the restraunt. First, It was the only one out of 5 at the hotel that was open past 8 Saturday night. When we walked in we had to fond chairs and carry them […] to the bar to get a $10 drink. Then during our meal the staff started dragging the furniture around the restraunt, causing so much noise thaty husband and I cancelled the rest of our order and had to leave. The staff didn't care that we were driven out, all they cared about was setting up for brunch the next day. When paying over $100 for a meal and drinks at a restraunt I would expect a better experience. I felt this hotel catered to events being held and are not at all concerned with the regular hotel guests. I would never stay here again and do not recommend to anyone!!! I didn't care for the layout because it is so spread out and on a very hilly terrain. The service personal were lack luster to bad. I was very surprised considering it was a Hilton resort.

First, I describe myself as regular international travel that appreciate luxury but is always looking for a bargain. The hotel is located on the side of a mountain. Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall is located 30 mins away. The hotel is laid out in such a fashion that you feel like you are in a small Mexican village. The hotel is a little older but the […] rooms are in great condition. The only problem with our room was that the bathtub was slow to drain. Each room has a separate living room, bathroom, sink/mirror area, and bedroom w/ balcony. They have several small swimming pools in addition the relative small water park. The hotel had an adult pool with two hot tubs and attaches bar/restaurant. Also, they had a family pool. In addition to the pools, each roof had flat tanning areas, which were great in the evening to get a couple of extra hours of sunlight. The hotel was ideally located across the street from North Mountain. My wife found the Spa to be very welcoming and professional, overall she was very pleased with it. A Starbucks and three restaurants were located on site. Valet parking is free but it is easier to park yourself since all of the rooms are easily accessible to the parking area. Internet is included in the $18 per night per room resort charge. (This is typical for Phoenix.) Overall, the hotel was better than expected. Overall it was a good stay. We were a little put off by the $18 per night "resort fee". It would be better to show the full rate when you book the room. I would have stayed at the JW Marriot for almost same nightly rate of $199. No complaints really except it might be time to upgrade the lumpy mattresses.

This hotel was nice, but I would not give it a four star rating! We took the Presidential Suite - which was nice and spacious, but the room had a stale smell. Love the hotel, but did NOT like the fact that there was an additional daily charge added to use the very crowded pool. It was $18.00 per day. REALLY!! We already paid $200.00 per night.

The motel was ok I thought it would have been more updated. The carpet in our room looked dirty and old. The tiles on the stairs were all cracked they need to be redone.Someone told us that the motel was build in the 70's well it looked liked it. Despertly need some updating. On our last night I wanted to do some landry so I put then in the washer when […] they were done I put them in the dryer well the dryer did not work so I called the front desk to tell them and they would send someone over to pick me up and take me to the only other dryer they have. I waited for half hour so I called the front desk again and asked to speak to the manger again I waited finally some driver told me he had been waiting down stairs for me. No one ever told me that the driver is not supposed to go to the room to pick up people.He drove my husband to the other dryer so we could finished our landry. When this happen it was 10 o'clock at night on our last night.Seems to me that a motel with over 500 rooms could use more than two washer and dryers. Those machined were old and funcky those could also use some updating.The pool area's were so full that you coouldn't even get lawn chairs for your family to sit together. My stay was very comfortable and nice. The room was very clean and we had a nice view of the mountains. I enjoyed that there were multiple pool locations providing me with more options. The people we're very kind in helping us with whatever we needed. I would definitely stay at this location again in the future!

We waited over 20 min's to check in, lost dinner reservations. Following day left to go shopping in the morning got back to hotel after a late lunch and room was not cleaned. Very cramped property. Told on checkout we owed two days resort fee. No mention of this when the reservation was made. No mention of this when we checked in. Surprised to learn of this when we checked out. Very gracious woman on the desk when we checked out agreed to waive the fee as she should have.

The buildings were in need of repair. Many roof tiles were missing on the roof across from my room and the tiles on the stairwells were worn to cement. The size of the resort requires much more staff than was available. The overworked staff in the lobby were rude. I will not stay here again

The hotel facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Everything is very clean. The staff is curteous and timely, parking was easy. Pools were great with zero entry for toddlers but were better suited for independent swimmers. Water slide only available for independent swimmers 42" or taller, no life jackets allowed. No water features for the little […] kids, you would need to bring your own water toys, floaties for fun. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and will come back when our kids can better use the pools. Resort has beautiful views. There are about 8 pools on site, the main falls area pool is open until 5PM but there are at least 6 other pools/hot tub areas around the resort that are open much later. Resort is carved into the side of a mountain, which means that parking is steep, and walking around the resort is not easy do the the steep terrain. Also, […] the resort does not tell you this, but upon there is a $75/night deposit to your credit card. Even if you have prepaid, they still hold $75/night on your credit card. There is also a non-refundable $18/night resort fee. The hotel is a little outdated, and housekeeping is horrible. The standard practice is to only change the sheets every other day. They actually made up our bed one day with dirty PJ bottoms bunched into the top sheet. Therefore, they did not even strip the bed or inspect them. They simply smoothed out the sheets. When we found this out we stripped the bed and found stains on 3 of the four sheets. (Mold on 1 top sheet, brown crusty stain on another, and some wet/water spot on another). When we contacted the management they said sorry, but we had to call them back and request clean sheets! Bad service, and service recovery. We also had a dirty room service napkin left on the living room floor for 2 days, Which means they did not vacuum each day. The grounds had dirty dishes left out all day or longer. It was only so-so, they added a "facilities resort fee" with no warning and I felt a little misled. There was no parking, and the steam room was broken, the pool tiny, and the gym very small. However it was clean and the personnel very friendly.

The resort grounds and outside appearances very nice. Clean but rooms need updating. VERY disappointed there is no free WI-FI in the rooms. Also did not like the room mini fridge stocked with hotel beverages. Would have liked to have the space for stocking our own and not being charged outrageous prices. We stayed in a Signature Suite. Room is large, decor is so-so. Fireplace was enjoyable; bed was amazingly comfortable. Never heard a single sound throughout the night. Only thing I didn't like was the standard bathtub/shower combo. Bathroom had been remodeled but still had a standard size tub & shower head which seemed very dated. In a room so nice […] I was expecting a garden tub & waterfall shower head. The service was outstanding at the front desk, guest services, & when we ordered dine-in food. They were also quick to bring extra towels & coffee when requested. But one of the bellboys who was too lazy to bring us firewood & instead told us they were all out. When I complained to the front desk he magically reappeared with it 10 mins later. I paid for a room with a fireplace for a reason & it took too much of an effort/wait to get the wood when it should have been in the room already! The food we ordered tasted fresh, homemade, not like from a restaurant. But it was definitely pricey once they added in the delivery charge & gratuity. It was convenient to have it brought to us but overall not worth what we paid. I definitely liked the resort but I'm not sure I would stay there again. I asked for and was told I could expect a particular room that is far from the action (we like quiet) - but they closed that section for scheduled maintenance. Several days before our arrival I asked for their next best room - I was assured twice (called again to confirm it on check-in day) that we would have a quiet room and it was far from the noise […] and activity. Surprise! When we checked in they had given "our" room away and we got poolside above and beside the waterfalls... Oh joy! The blaring music started at 8:30 on Saturday morning and ran all day long along with a typical very noisy vacationing pool crowd - hardly the quiet we were promised and desired. The parking and roads around the property are quite a challenge - very very steep hills and confusing one way streets with very difficult dead-ends. The room was great but had no towels. Hit me with a "resort fee" that I was not expecting. Said it was part of the expedia amount which was a lie as it wasn't. So if you want to stay there be prepared to spend an additional $20 a day for the "resort fee."

Very nice setting and well designed. Please be aware that the hotel adds a "mandatory" Resort Charge and a Suite Tax even though you have prepaid for the room. For my two night stay it amounted to $40 total.

The low end $$ rooms could use some newer carpet. My business partner got upgraded to a suite (him being a Hilton Platinum member) and that room was awesome.
