Jätte mysigt hotellområde med pool, bubbelpool och solstolar precis bredvid vattnet. Hotellrummen är inte de modernaste men cubanskt charmiga! Bra service av de anställda och rena rum. Vi blev positivt överraskade av hotellets atmosfär och återvänder gärna!

"Utmärkt läge men bullrig klimatanläggning"
Hotellet var väldigt trevligt, rent och snyggt, enkelt men bra. Allt verkade perfekt tills vi skulle sova och klimatanläggningen bullrade så att vi inte kunde sova utan öronproppar. Att stänga av den var ingen bra idé pga värmen.Verifierad gästrecension
"Bra pris om man vill spara pengarna till annat!"
Kent hotel passar alla som inte vill lägga hela sin resekassa på boende. Det är billigt, lyhört men rent med bra personal. Ligger helt rätt på Miami beach. nära till bad, mat osv. "Kent Miami South Beach"
Två nätter på Kent. Trevlig personal men hotellet hade blivit av med terassmöblerna då motsvarande kronofogden hade tagit dem, så ingen terass utomhus i lobbyn. Parkeringshus i närheten, vi hade inga problem att få plats där. Rummet OK men badrummet var dåligt städat med mängder av gamla hår från tidigare rakandes gäster. Perfekt läge vid South Beach […] även om detta var sista gången jag bor där, då detta område är superturistiskt med inkastare på restaurangerna och då blir det såsom Kanarieöarna eller vilken turistort som helst. "Mycket för pengarna"
En vecka på the kent i februari 2012. Litet och hemtrevligt. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra städning (luktar nästan lite väl mkt rengöring). Tyvärr väsnades ac:n och rummen var ganska lyhörda in mot korridoren. Perfekt läge mellan strand och nattklubbar, för om du bor på south beach så bör du vara ute efter strand och uteliv, annars bör […] du bo längre norrut. Mycket prisvärt hotell med gratis wifi. Rekommenderas för er som vill bo billigt, fräscht och centralt men som inte ska göra så mycket annat än att sova där och uppleva sobe när ni är vakna. Tänk på att utnyttja concergien, vill ni gå på klubb finns det gratis vipbiljetter på hotellet!!! Bra brandskydd med larm, rökdedektorer och sprinkler men såhär i efterhand undrar jag om det inte behövts lite bättre säkerhet mot obehöriga. Lätt att bara traska förbi lobbyn och upp bland rummen... Jag tycker att The Kent Hotel var över förväntan! Väldigt trevlig personal, bra rum (AC var dock lite för kall, gick inte att sänka), nära till allt! Personalen hjälpte en med precis allt. Mitt emot hotellet låg en dygnet runt öppet kiosk o 2 min promenad bort låg Starbucks, shoppinggator mm. Hotellet ligger "mitt i smeten". Kommer definitivt bo här […] nästa gång! Good affordable simple hotel, nothing extra. Not exactly the luxury segment but rooms are clean and functional and hotel staff are relaxed with a very positive and helpful attitude. "Middle of Everything"
Service was horrible. The clerk was more interested in trying to pick up the woman checking in to the hotel before us. After about 10 minutes of standing in the line, with the female guests nearly checked in when I arrived, I was getting tired of hearing his pick up lines and the banter back and forth and while it was apparent I was getting tired of […] it, it didn't seem to matter to the clerk. Suprisingly, being a male, my process lasted less than five minutes. While I understand that everything is old in Miami, the decor seemed to be half-heartidly done and wasn't done well to keep up with the times. The beds need to be changed....I have a bad back and the sinking into the matress didn't help. As for the cleanliness, no complaints at all and it is a good location to walk to nearly everything. "Close to the beach"
There are no clocks in the room, nor a local clock in the lobby (weird right?!) so bring your own alarm clock or watch. You can park nearby for cheaper then the valet fee per day ($15 lot to the right of the hotel). Was not very clean. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Has a room fridge but no microwave. I visit Miami at least once a year and every time I stay at a different hotel. I've stayed in lush, expensive hotels and some not so good ones as well. I will say that this is a perfect middle ground. The price was within our budget and the location is awesome! You will save hundreds of dollars just by staying one block west of Ocean Dr. The staff was […] extremely helpful even with our demanding group. The housekeeping was attentive and even helped dry our wet bathing suits. The hotel itself is a little older and the elevator is small but that is to be expected with any SoBe hotel since the city itself is old but the decor is very modern, sleek and bright. I will return to this hotel for sure. Outside of the super expensive hotels, this was the friendliest, and cleanest hotel and EVERYTHING we needed was within walking distance. South Beach has many, many hotels to choose from and I would come back to the Kent just because I LOVED the front desk staff, maintenance and housekeeping. "Close to everything you need and will go"
My stay was fabulous. The people at the hotel were very helpful told us what we could do, where to go, what was the place to be and time. Me and my husband got the most out of our 3 day vacation in south beach. We would of gotten more if my husband was so hard headed and would of listen to the man in the front desk but he thought he knew better and […] he found out quick he didn't. We went to the hottest clubs and had so much fun. We were close to the beach and they provide u with beach towels. They don't have a pool. The room was very modern. Great hotel if you want to be central to art deco,beaches, business and nightlife.Don't expect luxury,rooms are a bit noisy when people come home,but the guys at the front desk are a great help,the hotel is reasonably clean,and absolutely centrally located .At the left there is a parking(paid).Breakfast at 100 meter from the hotel for about $9,coffee […] included.Some great restaurants nearby.I will certainly visit again. My husband and I came for a 2 night get-a-way. It was perfect for this in terms of location. 2 blocks from the beach and close to lots of great restaurants. Staff was very nice and rooms were perfect for just a place to get some sleep. I would recommend if you were staying one or two nights, but any more than that I wouldn't stay here. The Kent is located in the Art Deco area with that South Beach charm. The room and hotel are older and need a bit of updating. The rooms were clean but very basic. "Convenient and Cheap..."
Overall, the Kent was exactly what I had pictured it would be from reading other reviews. Myself and my girlfriend booked the Kent for 1 night before we left for a cruise out of Miami. We had an early flight and arrived at 12:30 pm. The employees at the desk were very helpful and let us leave our bags in a locked closet until our room was ready at 4pm. […] We ended up getting a room around 3:30 which was room 110. When we arrived we were actually happy with how clean it felt and the bed was nice with clean sheets, nice floor, clean bathroom and such. I attempted to open the shades in the room and realized why they were closed. It was a horrible view of a dirty alley and buildings with a garbage truck that arrives pretty early. (Not the end of the world) The bathroom is small and water pressure was weak. When it came time to leave the desk staff called a cab for us and was waiting for us when we had to leave at check out. Overall, we felt safe, comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful to us who had never been to Miami. You get what you pay for and I would recommend to anyone staying overnight or for a quick, cheap getaway. It's a block from the beach with a lot of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
