The hotel itself was nice. The room was very outdated. The airconditioner was very loud and did not cool well. It was close to the Stadium which was the reason we chose this hotel in St Louis

My husband and I stayed at this hotel so we would be a close to Busch Stadium without paying the big bucks. The staff was friendly and helpful even though they were so busy! The hotel was very nice and easy parking. The only downfall was the Hard Rock Cafe played music all night and it was pretty loud. I slept through it, but my husband didn't. Would […] stay again. Stayed here for 6 days for a conference at the Americas Center. Convenient to most of the sties downtown and the creative re-use of union station lobby is very lovely. The rest of Union Station looks a bit depressed and the stores are not that interesting unless one wants to buy Cardinals swag. Free wifi was a pleasant surprise and the breakfast buffet […] is very nice in the adjacent Station Grille. The hotel rooms was rather non-descript but was clean. Construction was going on at the time down near the lower level- but this did not cause any disrruptions for us. I give the lobby, the reception staff, and the station grille( for breakfast) a solid 5, and overall a 4 for everything else. Läs mer

The hotel was very nice. The room I booked was not what I saw on the photo, but I could have been easily mistaken. Everyone was very friendly. The food in the restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will go again!

Excellent. I would have liked to have had the option of the buffet breakfast like my relatives got however. Not a lot of choices for breakfast otherwise.

We went to this hotel for a mother's day getaway. I was really looking forward to a shopping trip with my family. We live only a few hours away but I hadn't been to union station in many years. I was shocked how few stores there were (about 1/3 of what I remember). The mall had shady characters in it and we were asked for change in the food court. The hotel was nice, but way too much walking to get to our room and for the amount paid per night I would expect a little better. No indoor pool, no exits close to room at all.

St. Louis Union Station is absolutely breathtaking, so it's a shame that the enormous Hilton corporation isn't taking better care of her. The carpet throughout is worn and sad looking. Lighting in the public ares and traffic patterns are not well thought out. However, if the choice is a complete remodel of this stately building, I'll take her just the […] way she is. I would hate to see her remodeled within an inch of her life. My room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff friends and the valet was always on time. Great Hotel in the heart of the city, very close to Blues and Cardinals. Historical feeling throughout the property. The mall is disappointing because its so empty but very clean. Price was high on the room at $165 in my opinion.

overall enjoyed our stay. I would have prefered a room on an upper floor as oposed to the 1st floor. The preson that checked us in on arrival was not at all helpful and seemed indifferent. All others we came in contact with were always helpful. We would stay again and recommend Union Station..

Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the history of the hotel and Union Station. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe. We will return. We will also send our friends.

They don't build buildings like this one anymore. The renovation job brought back a great old building to usefulness. Its very close to the Hockey Arena and Baseball stadium, however, it's a little bit of a walk to the Arch. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent service. Very helpful. (Cannot say the same for the Pub Elephant and castle located next door). Location has only 4 stars as they are downtown that is basically dead during the week end. (other areas are definitely better).

Traveling with kids it would have been nice if there was an indoor pool. (March) We did appreciate the complimentary breakfast buffet. Rooms were nice and spacious with 2 adults and 2 kids. Would have appreciated a mini fridge or microwave. I probably would not stay here again because of the lack of amenities.

Loved the history and architecture inside the front of the hotel. The cleaning staff was always friendly when we saw them in the hall. Sad to see so many closed stores at Union Station mall, though.

The hotel lobby is gorgeous with photo oops. The rooms and hallways were very clean and I felt safe in the neighborhood walking. The beds were not super comfortable, slightly above average

The lobby of this hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. There was shopping and dining right on site and the overall ambiance was excellent. The only disconnect was the odd configuration of the hallways to get to the guest suites. It kind of felt like we were in The Shining, as we had to go down three […] long corridors to get to our room. It was very mazelike, but other than that, it was a unique and fun place to stay. The night staff here was unfriendly, unhelpful, and quite frankly, a little unintelligent. Half of the hotel was a 4 star atmosphere with amazing rooms, the other half was a 2 star motel atmosphere with low-class rooms. We reserved a room for 3 adults and 2 queen beds. When we checked in, we went up to the room in the luxury area of the hotel and found […] that there was only one queen bed. We went back down to the desk and asked for a new room. They gave us new keys and we went to the new room. It was in the basement in the poorly maintained portion of the hotel on the other side of the old train station and the hallways were dirty and there was some blood on the wall. We tried the keys but they didn't work. We went back to the desk AGAIN and the attendant went with us to try the keys as if we were lying about them not working. It turned out that the room was occupied and we woke up the lady in the room. The attendant did not apologize to the lady or us for the mistake. It was almost 12:30 AM at this point and we had to go all the way back to desk to get ANOTHER room. This time, the attendant admitted that there were no rooms with 2 beds. He gave us a king suite, which he claimed was a nicer room, but it was small and had two pullout beds. Even then, there were no sheets or blankets for the couch bed. We called the desk 4 times to get some and they finally brought some an hour later. I'm sure that our stay would have been great, had the first room been the right one. Läs mer

Great Hotel, looking forward to the renovation of Union Station as it was not very nice and lot of homeless people begging for money. I was asked 6 times for money and only there for 2 days.

Let's be honest, we were all a little tipsy when this room was booked. It was for an out of town wedding that we'd procrastinated on finding lodging for, so one night after downing a bit of alcohol, we booked the first thing that looked decent and was affordable. We were all very pleased when it turned out to be the most amazing hotel we'd stayed in. […] The beds were like clouds, the building itself was beautiful, it was just... very nice. We enjoyed our stay greatly! The beds were so comfortable I slept better than I had in a long time!!!! I totally wanted to bring the puffy white comforter and pillows home with me!!!
