I came out to the coast for my birthday. I'm not one to complain and I didn't. "But" I found an eye glass case left behind from another stay. There was food on the sofa and curtains from a former stay. Missing knob on the air/heating controls. An old straw stuck in the patio door window. Cheap plastic patio chairs covered in moss/mold. Scotch tape on […] the walls from a banner? from a former tenant. Scuff marks on the wall from someone trying to take off there shoes? And dried white "stuff" on the chair in front of the mirror by the tv. Brown stains on the white sheets that looked liked dried blood. Over all I have learned my lesson and will never stay at a Shilo Inn again. I wanted to have a nice weekend away and that didn't happen. But on the plus side Shilo Inn has excellent front desk women that are very polite and informative. Läs mer

Great location near the beach. Room was a great size for 4 people. The sitting/kitchen area was a bonus! Kids loved the 24 hour pool and the restaurant was good. Loved that pets are welcome (even though we did not bring ours).

Nice hotel probably the nicest one in ocean shores love the seperate sitting area and all the tv,s the pool is pretty large to I will be staying here next time for sure

The Shilo Inn was host to our spring conference; hotel and restaurant/catering staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Our suites were spacious, the beds superb; the showers were hot and the views of the Pacific breakers crashing on shore were spectacular! We had a most enjoyable weekend.

We had a great time! Loved the hotel, view of the Ocean, close to the beach, stores, bowling alley - just a great time all around. Also, LOVE that the pool is open 24 hours - that is a huge amenity!

Great place, nice ocean view, great rooms, great place to stay for a get away weekend!!

hotel was nice,rooms clean, however for what a person would pay regulary. The shade on the outside door was missing and T.V. reception on some channels was not good.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the beach. The hotel is centrally located to everything we wanted to do & everywhere we wanted to go. I would have liked a much comfier bed, the one we had was very firm & wiggled alot. When in Ocean Shores visit Galway Inn, a great Irish pub. Oh & obey the speed limit, it's only 25mph in town!

I have lost my cell phone and may have left it in room 224. Please contact me if found. Otherwise, my wife and I had a wonderful 3 nights at Shilo Inn. I even used the exercise room and was glad it was available. We would return again.

Wonderful staff, great views of the ocean and LOVED the fact that they let us bring our pup. We had our own semi private patio. The pool was super fun and there were quite a few gorgeous art pieces to look at all over the hotel. The only downfall was the restaurant, they were seriously understaffed and the wait was pretty long. Our waitress tried her […] hardest though. We had a great stay. Pool is open 24 hours so my boyfriend really enjoyed his twice daily swims.. anytime of the day! Will go back soon.

Very nice rooms and they allow pets which is nice. We enjoyed are stay and would highly recomend it to others.

The Shilo in Ocean Shores is convenient to everything. We attended a wedding that was held across the street at the Convention Center and were able to walk back to our room after the event. Room was very clean. Had a double queen and there were three TV's, nice little gas fireplace and sitting area. Planning to stay there again in the near future.

Although the bed itself was not that comfortable, the kitchenette is very convenient. Also it's right on the beach.

Great place to stay if you like a very firm mattress

Shilo has the best of all the other hotels we have stayed at. Housekeeping is thorough and polite. Lobby is welcoming. On site restaurant is very good, though a bit pricey. We are loyal customers!

I usually frequent another hotel when going to the ocean but I will be coming back to Shilo!

Beautiful room, with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. Quiet, clean, very convenient to stores, restaurants, etc. I would stay there again!

We went to dinner at the shilo and ordered seafood liguinee . Was told when the food came that they didn't have all of the different seafoods that went with it. So they gave some extra shrimp. Didn't see any.Also no salad with dinner or bread. Ruined our night at $21.95 a plate !!!! Hotels OK , just don't eat the food!!!

I liked everything about it except the sad fish-tank. Not many fish, the rock fish in there was almost dead and all the coral was fake and knocked on its side. It is such a massive fish-tank it should be better maintained and it could be a focal point of interest instead of disgust.

I was surprised by how unfriendly staff were at both check in and check out. Smiles were rare and we got the feeling we were an inconvenience for them. Polite, but not a drop of friendly. For the price, I would have liked to have felt welcome too. The restaurant desk staff was the same way. When we ordered dinner later, the young man who brought our […] room service dinner was the only person who smiled and seemed to care about us as guests. The room service food was not impressive either. But here's the balance, I thought the property was clean and I liked our room, while a bit outdated, we were here to enjoy the beach and we were close to the beach. So, my answer to "would you recommend this hotel to others?" could have gone either way... but I'd guess I would try another location before I came back to this one, and I suggest that to my friends too. I was really impressed by this hotel. They have a great location right by the beach access. The lobby was nice and clean and I was pleasantly surprised that they let me check in several hours early. I brought my big dog with me and he was well received! The rooms given to dog owners are perfect because they are ground floor and have a door that opens […] out onto a patio with bushes and access to the back lawn. Perfect for pet needs at night. I was surprised at how nice the room was and even had an electric fireplace. At first I thought I had somehow received an upgraded room but found out all of the rooms have a suite feel. Staff was great and one of the nice ladies even held onto my dog for a few minutes while I ran into the restaurant! I will definitely be returning. Läs mer

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Shilo Inn. The room was clean, reasonably updated, and the bed very comfortable. Three TV sets, including one in the bathroom! Nice restaurant, and the food was good (we ate dinner and breakfast there). It was a clear view of and a short walk to the beach. We were looking for a place that had an ocean view, and we got […] it. I would have liked to hear the surf more, but the hotel is too far back from the shore for that. Just two negatives: (1) The rooms are not sound insulated - you can hear the TV in the adjoining rooms, and also every toilet flush or the shower running, and (2) This time of year it is nice to be able to have the window open for fresh air instead of running the air conditioner or fan, but there was no screen on the window, and we had to prop open our door to the hall in order to pull air into the room. My friend and I chose this hotel becuse of its proximity to the beach. I was told it was an ocean front property. Well nothing was built up infront of it but it was a solid 15 minute walk to get to the water. The beach here at ocean shores was the most filthy I have ever seen. Literally trash, plastic bags, broken beach toys and cigarette butts could […] be found in every single square foot. Plus, they allow cars on their beach. Between the noise of them and the smell I don't know which was worse. We had trveled about 200 miles to reach this hotel through much natural beauty Washington has to offer, hoping to just sit.and and relax on the beach. Did not happen.here. when we got back to our room I went to open the window for some.fresh air only to find there was no screen! When I asked the hotel staff to help with this they simply said we don't have screens here. Really? No screens in a hotel billed as a luxury suite. By the way, the cheesy fire place was also a joke. Our only issue was the food at the restuarant was not that good for the very expensive prices. Otherwise, really liked this place.

The hotel rooms seem a little outdated. TVs seem to be about 15-20yrs old. They do have three of them in the room, wish one of them would have been a flat screen. That being said, great view, pretty clean, nice indoor swim facitlity.

Growing up, we never came here due to the Inn's price tag. Upon arriving, our room was not ready [mind you, we arrived after check in, the room should have been ready] whereus our friends room was the same King suite and ready. There was no cont. breakfast, or amenities. Basic shampoo and soaps, towels. I think the price mostly comes from the decorations […] and art. We were surrounded by loud yapping dogs, and there was no silverware in the room, or dishes. The hot water was out down the hall. There were marks and dings in the wall, and the fireplace does not even have a real fire. Fine for kids and concerned parents, but the room layout has little privacy- the beds are right next to each other. The sands has a section with an apartment layout, same price. The king room we had was nice. The blind was missing from the balcony door, so there was no way to block outside light. The pool was clean and warm. Comfortable place.

The grandkids loved the pool and steam room.

We were traveling with kids and grandkids and occupied three rooms. All were spacious and clean. The restaurant was excellent .. good food and very pleasant servers. Close to the beach, great ocean view, walking distance to shops and activities. Great time was had by all 9 of us.

My children and I had a fun stay in Ocean Shores at the Shilo Inn. However, if you stay here, expect some maintenance issues. The air conditioner in our room leaked all over the floor, the pipes were EXTREMELY loud when neighboring units took showers. Housekeeping took away wine glasses that I had brought from home. I travel a lot and stay in numerous Hotels,but the staff at the Shilo Inn (especially Renee and Ty or Tia they were very helpful)is the best and the most friendliest that I have encountered.The pool,spa,steamroom and fitness center was always clean and fresh smelling.I give this Hotel 5 Stars.I plan a return trip in August with my two granddaugthers […] to enjoy the Ocean. Rooms are good size. 3 tvs ...cool touch. Could be updated though. We stayed on first floor which was perfect since we brought our dog. The pool needs to be refurbished; bottom needs to be refinished. Restaurant was out of clams and peanut butter. Minor downers but overall good place.
