Hotell The Westin Pasadena - Pasadena

Great stay overall: well-maintained, great staff. One major complaint is that the walls are extremely thin between rooms and we heard a crying baby all evening, and any passing guests walking in the hallway conversing in normal volume were easily audible in the room.

Comfortable beds!!!! gorgeous hotel. Clean Valet parking is the only way to go. In and out capabilities. Stayed here because I had a conference at Hilton down the street. It's walking distance to paseo and old town!

very nice hotel - worth the money which is more than we usually spend

Easy to get around by car, and walk to nearby restaurants. Loved the drip Starbucks coffee in room, with half-and-half instead of dry fake "creamer." Terrific fitness center, good bar. Excellent housekeeping services.

Overall the Westin in Pasadena is a great stay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was 95% clean (I'm pretty picky) and when our neighbor was smoking in a non smoking room and causing the whole floor to stink, the staff took care of the smell ASAP. My only big complaint was that they pool area is rather small and there are only 15 […] places to sit. So it gets pretty crowded. Also, there was only one bartender on staff, who closed up shop at 5pm, while people were still sunning themselves. So getting a drink was difficult and a long wait. Läs mer

This is a perfect hotel for visiting Pasadena. You can walk to so many things and the shuttle will take you short distances if you prefer, The service was superb, quiet, good size rooms and healthy breakfast menu, beautiful roof top pool and clean, new exercize equipment. I do have to say, I had a great rate and notice the rate doubled the day I left. […] My rate, did of course effect how much I enjoyed my stay! But I would still return to this hotel. Läs mer

I was very surprised that the pool/spa area was so small that we could not even find lounge chairs to rest in and were told there were no more available when we asked. It was so crowded that you could not walk on the deck. There are hidden charges everywhere and if you park in the open parking you are charged $9.00 everytime you enter or leave the lot. […] Not $9.00 per day every time you enter or leave!!!!! The bedding was very nice except for the pillows being hard as a rock and leaving me with a very stiff neck. For the money I would not recommend this hotel. Läs mer

Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Easy to find and access from other areas of Los Angeles. I stay here often when I am visiting my family. It never disappoints.

I like the location of this hotel. You will be 2 blocks away from paseo Colorado which is the main shopping centers in Pasadena and about 5-7 min walk to the shops on E Colorado including for ever 21 H&M 21 flavors melting pot, Kenneth Cole. The bed is comfortable, Starbucks drip coffee and complementary water is available in every room. Bath-tub/ shower […] water flow is a bit weak. Try to get a room in a high floor with mountain view. Self park is available for about $10 but valet is about $4-6 more which is a good deal. Unfortunately every time I stay here there must be some sort of renovation going on :( but it's not that annoying any way. Läs mer

While the Westin is usually a lovely hotel, this time our room was very dusty (especially the phone and lamps), the carpet did not look well vacuumed and there was hair/dirt/dust in the corners of the bathroom. Otherwise the bar area, toilet, tub, sink, and linens were all spotless as usual.

I simply love it! Friendly, very good customer service! Nice view from the pool! I highly recommended, to families !

Lobby under construction. Many people waiting for rooms at check out times and none were ready. Very noisy in the halls and outside. Could not have a drink in lounge because of construction noise.

Hotel room was not clean. There were milk stains on night stand. Both night stands were dusty including alarm clock and phone. Bed was unmade on one side. I had to request housekeeping to come in and change the sheets and dust as it was too late too change rooms.

We really like the courtyard and the nice restaurants across from the hotel. It's convenient to the 210 too. All in all, a very nice, comfortable experience.

The hotel is very conveniently located a block away from so many shops and restaurants (outdoor mall) and the room we stayed in had a nice view of the pool. Parking is very affordable compared to other places I've stayed at in Pasadena. There was just some makeup stains on one of the decorator pillows on my bed but I just threw it on the floor and it […] was taken care of. Läs mer

For a quick getaway, we elected to try the Pasadena Westin. Everything was top notch, with a special kudos to Andrew, the concierge. We had arrived during prime dining hours and Andrew recommended and got us in to a great restaurant. The hotel, staff and restaurant recommendation were outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel was everthing I wanted for my stay. The hotel staff was very accomidating, And polite. Parking was very reasonable compared to others I have stayed at. The room was clean and was nicely arranged. The only downfall was a little bit of hallway noise from other doors shutting. But not a big deal. I would deffinetly recommend this hotel. So NOT a 4-star hotel! Definitely disappointing. The location is awesome and the staff was very friendly, but the room had issues. The bathroom was small and the tub was grubby and needed updating; leaking faucet, ancient hardware, stained tub and calcium deposits all over the drain. The bed was OK, but the bedding was lousy; scratchy, polyester sheets […] and duvet cover, no extra blankets, and sheets that came undone before we even got into the bed. The room was small, definitely worn looking (chips on the furniture, stains in the carpet, marks on the walls), and needs updating. Cottage cheese ceilings? Really? The view from the room was great, but the a/c units on the rooftop below were so loud that you couldn't open the window to really enjoy it. From the moment we set foot in the room, I wished I'd paid the extra $70 for the nicer hotel a few blocks away. Wouldn't stay here again. Läs mer

Very nice and staff was very accomodating with special requests-i.e. a little early check-in, a little delayed check-out, more cream for the coffee. I definitely will come back for my trips to Pasadena (I've stayed in same hotel before). Tho they have downsized some-no more use of their very comfy, cushy bathrobes that they used to provide. The hotel is conveniently located near Old Pasadena and the Metro Gold Line. Never needed our car. Took the Gold Line to Union Station and the Red Line to Universal Studios. Worked like a charm. Lots of restaurants and shopping in Old Pasadena which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The room was comfortable. TV could use HD channels. Housekeeping […] was a bit lax. We did not have our room cleaned (stayed two nights and prefer to keep all strangers out of the room if at all possible) but upon check in some of the glasses were dirty. View from the top floor (Executive rooms) was outstanding. Did not use any hotel amenities. The Front Desk staff were polite and charming. Läs mer

Conveniently located, Pasadana is very nice, however, Parking is very expensive.

Room was great but room service was way too expensive. Better off walking down the street and getting a better meal for cheaper. Room service also took a bit longer than you would want. Room was clean and looked great. Location was good. Only a block from Colorado. Price of room was worth it.

The special thing about this hotel is the genuinely friendly and caring service. Of course this hotel looks remarkably pretty and is in a great location, but man hotels have that - not all of them have staff this nice!

Pricey, but very comfy. Well kept. Check out TV reception, had to be moved to another room because reception so bad.
