Very comfortable room with spacious bathroom, excellent sturdy fixtures, beautiful art deco tiling. super comfy bed. Polite sophisticated hotel staff. Hotel has interior detailing that is reminiscent of a 1920's transatlantic ocean liner. Nice European breakfast with excellent Viennese coffee. Only small quibble was weak wireless signal.

Staff were very helpful from our arrival until our departure. The room was very clean and extremely well furnished. The restaurant was wonderful for breakfast and evening meals. Situated within a 100m of underground station and easy walking distance to the city centre this hotel was excellent for a short break. Fully recommend it.

We truly enjoyed our recent three night stay at Das Triest. The location was great.....far enough from the busy streets of the inner strade to be away from the crowds but close enough to easily access the opera house, St. Stephen's, etc. The staff was frIendly and helpful. Very comfortable, modern room. Great service, pretty good breakfast. About a 20-minute walk to downtown as well as the Belvedere. Right next to the Technical University. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Hotel Das Triest (4 nights) was quite nice. The hotel is exceptionally clean, which for me goes a very long way. The location is quite good, just a few minutes walk from the main center of town, but the metro stops right out front and the u-bahn is only a 2-3 minute walk to get anywhere in the city. Comfortable, hotel in a very convienient location. Rooms were clean, everyone was nice. Breakfast was quite good, make sure to get this included in your room rate. Only complaint is the shower, the water pressure was horrible and the temperature frequently changed.

The hotel as a building and location is far below our expectations. It is categorized as a five star design hotel but I have to say that that is just an average two or three star hotel. Negative: -The hotel design is extremely minimalistic that you do not feel staying in a five star hotel. -The rooms are very small. -The bathroom as a whole is very […] poor and old fashioned. Nothing works properly. -The housekeeping is not doing their job efficiently. For example they took the dirty towels but did not put the new ones! -The hotel is exactly 20 minutes by walk from the city center, not 5 or 10 minutes. Also, you may not feel comfortable around the hotel area if you arrive late. Positive: -The staff are extremely helpful. They are always there and help you for everything. -The breakfast is okey -Internet in the rooms are perfect. -Complimentary chocolates are nice. A real gem of a hotel, only a few minutes walk from the centre. Boutique in style it has large rooms, designed by Sir Terence Conran. Bathrooms are fabulous topped off with Molton & Brown toiletries and a bath you wouldn't want to get out of! Comfortable large kingsize bed with soft fluffy pillows made for a quiet nights sleep. The area is OK and the hotel is well located within a 1o to 15 minute walk to most of the sites. We were a little skeptical about the location when we arrived, but after a day realized it just wasn't the most cleanest part of town. The hotel is located a bit south of city center, which can be nice if you don't want to be in the center of everything. Yet you can still be within city center with 20/30 minutes of walking. Easy to reach from the airport for a weekend city break. Very comfortable, excellent breakfast buffet and helpful staff. Rooms were well equipped and everything worked. Wifi, internet access, comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Large bathroom and plenty of power from shower.

The entrance and the lobby of this hotel are rather unassuming, but once you get to your room and experience the breakfast you realise how good it is. Service was friendly and smiley and the room was great, especially the large bathroom with a great basin and abundant hot water. I have stayed at Das Triest before, a few years ago, but in the winter. Even better in the summer! Big rooms, comfortable beds, sleek Apple TVs, pleasant courtyard. Great buffet breakfast, and attentive/helpful staff working during breakfast. Very helpful front desk staff, very professional. Short walk to Karlsplat z UBahn station.

We found this hotel to be quite adequate, but nothing special. The breakfast was ample and very good. The hotel was clean, but not especially well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was close to our favorite restaurant which is the reason we chose it.

Der Triest is situated next to the subway,U bahn, and many trams .It is a few minute walk to the opera and museums. So location great and the neigborhood has its charms. Breakfast -great and staff very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness and decor were the tops.

This is a great hotel. I've stayed here three times and will do so again. The location is excellent and the facility itself is first class. The food is very good and the wait-staff is extremely professional. The front desk did everything they could to help me with taxis, directions, cleaning clothes, etc. No hesitation whatsoever to recommend to tourism […] and business travel. The Hotel was conveniently situated - a reasonable 4 star- no tea/coffee making in room but everything else was comfortable and clean - Silver bar was expensive but worth a visit for at least one drink.

The hotel staff were very friendly and didn't mind speaking English. The hotel was in a great location, especially if you just wanted to walk to see an Opera. I did think the Apple TV/Internet was a neat option. The room was spacious and clean but I really disliked that they only give you one full pillow and a single sized blanket for a king sized bed. […] I was also disappointed that there was no alarm clock or a good selection of tv stations. Great hotel with very helpful & friendly staff. Was disappointed that we couldn't get a table for dinner in the fully booked restaurant on any night of our stay, as the menu looked great (definitely worth booking in advance of your trip). Breakfast was fantastic though. Only a couple of niggles - the hotel bar didn't open (as advertised) on Sunday night […] & a couple of lamps in our room didn't work. The hotel is well designed, and well looked after; staff speak excellent English - which is helpful for non-German speakers - and were extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble; rooms well designed with good bathrooms; like most Viennese buildings, it was very hot!

My husband and I had a very nice time in the Das Triest Hotel. I was impressed with the different fresh flower arrangements that where placed in the lobby and around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We hope to come to Vienna and stay in this hotel again.

I travel often to Vienna and have been looking for a unique hotel experience. In the past, I have stayed at chain hotels but this time I tried Das Trieste. The location of the hotel just off of Karlsplatz away from the center is convenient for travelers. We only stayed one night this time but I look forward to returning again soon. I am a fan of "design hotels" and Das Trieste fits into this category without being over the top -- you can sense that time and money were invested in the design of the hotel but it is still comfortable and welcoming. Fresh flowers are scattered in interesting arrangments, including in the bathroom of the room. The decoration in the room is simple, clean, and comfortable. Anbefaler dette hotellet på det sterkeste! Flott service, fin beliggenhet og flott hotellrom. Fikk tildelt suiten i 6.etasje selv om dette ikke var bestilt. Kjempegod frokost hver dag på verandaen, veldig renslig, personalet var alltid behjelpelig og god standard på rommet. Et flott opphold!

O hotel é bem localizado. Fica perto de várias atrações, como o museu Secessão e a Graben. O quarto, que dispõe de um computador da Apple e acesso à rede wi-fi, é confortável, embora pequeno. Não é um hotel muito luxuoso, mas atende satisfatoriamente às necessidades de quem vai fazer turismo em Viena. Os funcionários são bastante atenciosos.

高級感というのは全くないですが、清潔感がありました。一人の滞在ということもあるかもしれませんが、最低限の広さもある部屋でした。 予約後に最寄り駅のカールスプラッツ周辺は治安上避けた方が良いとのコメントを目にしました。夜間はすごくにぎやかな場所ではありませんでしたが、治安上問題があるような場所では全くなかったです。路面電車1番はオペラ座の前を右に曲がってリングを外れていきますが、そのオペラ座の次の駅（名前は覚えていませんが）で降りれば、ホテルまで徒歩1分程度ですので、ご宿泊の際は利用を検討されても良いかも知れません。ただ、オペラ座やケルントナー通りから歩くとすると、多分10分程度はかかると思いますので、都心の本当のど真ん中に宿泊されたい場合には若干不便さを感じるかとは思います。コストと場所／設 […] 備を天秤にかけると、お勧めしても良いホテルではないかと感じました。 Läs mer
