Hotell Hampton Inn Indianapolis East - Indianapolis

Hotel was good everyone was very nice. Only problem was the hotel had Smoking & Non Smoking rooms in the same floor and the hallways smelled like smoke.

The service at the hotel was great...everyone was kind and very helpful. Our room was dark and the bed comforter was lumpy from being washed?? The room was a bit smaller than I expected but it was clean and comfortable for one night. Nothing special, but not horrible. Easy to get to since it's right off the highway.

While a slightly older hotel, the accomodations were great. Cost was very reasonable and we had easy highway access to & from Indianapolis - about a 10 minute ride (max & that's with traffic). There are a couple of places to eat along the main drag with most of them the fast food variety. With breakfast being available at the hotel, we just ate in […] town so it wasn't that big of a deal to us. I was concerned about highway noise but there is a hotel between the Hampton and Interstate 70, so you don't anything from the highway. Läs mer

I was very, very pleased with everything. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. The room was spacious and I felt that I was at home away from home. I will definitely go back there. The breakfast bar was good. I like the fact that I can get tea, or coffee whenever I want in the breakfast area.

Beds were lopsided, there were strands of hair in both beds, the whirlpool didn't work, pool area was dirty, light in the bathroom Worked only half the time, the bed frame stuck out and my son hurt his leg, need curtains- @ night the lights were shining on the beds.

The hotel was very busy with many guests there for the Big Ten basketball tournament. In spite of the large number of guests, the staff was courteous and quite willing to futfill any request we had. Got there and was expecting more. we have stayed at Hamptons before and they were lot better. The hot tub was broke and indoor pool was ice cold. We asked for extra towls and blankets several times before we got them. Room was nice and breakfast was good. I have been in better hotels but it was alright for one night. Let down for a hampton.

We booked this hotel solely on the reviews on-line and it paid off. Our room included a king size bed, sofa bed, microwave, fridge, movable desk, extremely comfortable bed and bedding. We stayed with our 1 year old and 6 year old children. I am always concerned letting a 1 year old crawl around on hotel floors, but I didn't hesitate with this room. […] It appeared very clean and recently updated. The bathroom looked so clean I even let them enjoy a long soak in the bathtub. The pool was very nice for children because the cement steps were the width of the pool. This allowed our 1 year old someplace to stand/sit and play in the water as well. The continental breakfast included the traditional fare: eggs, sausage, muffins, rolls, bagels, waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. Seating was a little slim but the food was delicious. I was very pleased with the desk staff as well. We only dealt with one person, but she was extremely kind and personable. Location of hotel is in very noisy area, though it was better than I expected.

This hotel is the best value for money of the many hotels I have stayed at in East Indianapolis. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast buffet has something for everyone - from yoghurt and fruit to bagels and muffins, freshly made waffles, and hot selections including oatmeal, bacon or […] sausage and eggs. And if you want something more, Bob Evans restaurant is a few steps away. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and is in a well-lit and safe neighborhood. Nice hotel. Well maintained. Close to restaurants and I-70.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms were big, and very clean. The furniture was nice, and I especially liked the bathroom vanity. There were shelves under the sink for all your things so the countertop wasn't cluttered. Each room had its own min-fridge (the larger size) and a microwave. Breakfast was very good, and the front desk staff was […] friendly. It isn't in the best neighborhood, but it is right on the expressway, so it had quick access to downtown. We visited on a weekend where it was hard to find a hotel downtown, so we chose this instead. It was half the price, and we were dowtown in about 10 minutes anyway! Läs mer

Hampton Inn in Indianapolis East, IN. is right off the highway, easy to find. The room was newly remodeled, and the furniture looked antique. the room was very clean and inviting. Nice Pool

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton. I used other reviews to help make my decision. The morning breakfast was wonderful with a variety of selections. The workout room was small but adequate for a short stay. The staff was always courteous and helpful.

Overall this is one of the better hotels in the area, if not the best considering its location. It is convient to the businesses in the area, as well as restaurants. I had no issues except the key access on the north side of the building stopped working the second day i was there, and it was still broken 5 days later when i left. I will be using this hotel every year that we go up to the State Fair. Close and great neighborhood. Close to all types of restaurants and price ranges. It was clean ande just as promised.

better than I expexcted

Only a few minor complaints. The hotel seemed sort of hidden behind a Bob Evans, so it took us a minute to figure out where the hotel actually was. No biggie though. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so that if you took a hot shower the bathroom was going to get hot and humid really quick. My wife and I left the door open when we showered […] so that it would stay fairly cool. The shower seemed as though it was either too hot or too cold. It seemed impossible to get the setting right. Both my wife and I had problems with this. There seems to be quite a bit of noise comming from the hallways too, even at night. The business center only had one computer and it was almost always taken. If you come here don't expect to use the business center computer unless you want to wait for it. None of the above was any big deal to me but it was an "imperfection" if you will. Other then that, everything was great. The staff was friendly, the bed was EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE, when all the noise quieted down in the hallways my wife and I slept like babies on that great matress. The pool was nice for a good swim, the TV was good. The late checkout time (12 noon) is great if you like to sleep in. The window shade blocked out the outside light extremely well. There was also a good selection of chain resteraunts nearby, so you don't have to go very far for food. The breakfast was decent but nothing to write home about. Läs mer

The hotel was easy access to the local highways and streets. It was a driving trip as opposed to flying. The room was very comfortable and modern. The halls, elevators and entrance way were clean and pleasant to the eye.

Although this hotel is updated and has a lot of ammenities they do need to work on their customer service. At first we were put in a room that was next to the ice machine, so we asked to be moved. Then we were placed in a room that had a connecting door to some very loud neighbors (mind you we were traveling with a 6month old). After complaining to […] management 2 times they sent a very unprofessional "security" guard to tell them to quite down. Through the door we could hear him being more focused on being friends with out noisy neighbors then asking them to quite down. After they continued to make noise (its about 11pm) we complained again this this time the "security" guard knocks on their and not waiting for them to open just yelled through their door to keep it down. Our neighbors opened the door and asked him who called on him and he pointed to our door!! After we informed management of his unprofessionalism they then moved us to a 3rd more quiter room. Complaints are minor, but involve inconveniences. There was no remote control for the TV in the room, and when I called the front desk to ask for one, I was told it would be sent. It never was. Finally I went to the desk where another clerk gave me a remote with batteries. There were no hand towels in the bathroom, only washcloths and bath towels. I […] didn't receive a receipt on checkout. The desk clerk told me it was prepaid, so no receipt was needed. That may be, and if I really wanted a receipt, I would've pushed for it, but I thought it odd that they didn't automatically give me a receipt so I could match it with my credit card statement. The hotel entrance was difficult to find from the road after dark, and I thought I made a wrong turn. Staff kept running out of food for breakfast on Sunday morning. Breakfast service seemed unorganized. I like the Hampton Inn chain, and while this was far from the worst hotel I've ever been in, it's probably the worst Hampton. It wasn't a bad enough stay to tell people not to stay there, but at the same time, I've had far better experiences at other Hampton locations. Läs mer

This hotel was very nice. Right off of the expressway. There were enough places to eat nearby, but the street wasn't flooded with traffic either. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. The young woman at the reception desk was very kind. I will stay here on my next visit to Indy.

I travel about 10 days a month and hate to be surprised with a bad hotel. This was not the case...Good hotel..I will stay here again..

If need a quick and comfortable night's stay right outside of Indianapolis, this is the place for you. This Hampton Inn looks fairly new, folks are very friendly, and breakfast was great.

The cost was reasonable and rooms were clean and comfortable. For the cost, we were expecting far less than what we got. It was easy access on and off the interstate and all personnel were friendly and eager to help. My only negative is the ice machines. We were several rooms down the hall from the machine on our floor, but could still hear ice clunking […] everytime someone used it - which was pretty much all night long. We still would not hesitate to stay there again! Thank you for 'clean' at the price charged. I will recommend your hotel to anyone I can. Thank you!! Läs mer

Great hotel, clean rooms, great staff, great breakfast. I will definately be staying here next year for the Indy 500. Finally a hotel worth staying in!
