The part of the hotel that was renovated was very nice, but it is still under renovation, so you have to go outside to get to the lobby if you take the elevator. If you take the stairs, you can go right to the 1st floor and then on to the lobby. Also, the walls are paper thin. The lobby was attractive but this is an older property in need of a re-hab. The renovations done to the lobby were sadly lacking in the rooms--they were in not the best condition--cracking paint, old carpets, etc. AND, the bathroom was not spotlessly clean which is kind of icky. Very good motel, and convenient to shore. Very clean and apparently well organized. Front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice place. Food was extremely expensive though - probably because there was nothign else nearby. Pool was very comfortable. Great to have free wifi! Loved the balcony too.

when we check into our original room there were wet towels on the floor- there fore the room smelled. was transfered to another- ok - place is dated

I was excited that there was a restaurant onsite, until I saw the prices for a breakfast sandwich. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was over $7.00 for a sandwich. I understand its a convienence, but it seems overpriced. we dined elsewhere.

Conveniently located and easy to find, this Courtyard was technologically relevant with touch screen information boards. Starbucks in the morning with a fresh, healthy breakfast met expectations, but most importantly, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly - all of them.

The hotel was conveniently located for a visit to Quinnipiac University. This was our second visit, and it was short but pleasant. We were disappointed that we could not get Marriott loyalty points because we did not book the hotel directly. Also, one of the reasons we booked the hotel was because of its indoor pool; however, it was so cold we did not […] use it. We did enjoy the spa, but it was very crowded because the pool was so cold. We booked up the hotel because we've previously been impressed by the Marriott chain, and it certainly didn't disappoint. As expected, the service, facilities and quality of room were all excellent, and we couldn't believe the price we paid! (- and all charges refreshingly transparent, unlike some hotels) Although breakfast wasn't complimentary (but […] the coffee was), all the meals from the bistro were great value and the food was fresh and tasty - not a wide range of choices but we really enjoyed what we ordered. The hotel is in quite an isolated location and you would only stay there for a specific reason; we were visiting the nearby Durham Agricultural Fair in September and, for that, it was extremely conveniently situated. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean and located close to resturants, and the movie theater. The staff were very friendly as well. I was traveling alone and felt very safe staying at this hotel.

What can I say. I was in the area for a wedding! The Hotel was within a 15 minute drive. The staff were above wonderful. Very considerate of your needs willing to lend an extra hand when needed. I would highly recommend this hotel in this area to anyone who asks.

The hotel lobby is recently updated and is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was quick to respond to requests. The cost of food and snacks in the lobby is excessive but the staff made up for it. We look forward to staying here again.

The hotel was very well maintained and comfortable. This hotel has lots of amenities and is still very new looking and feeling. Also the setting is very nice, it is relatively quiet and the outdoor space is pleasant.

It was graduation weekend and we were still able to get a room--fantastic. The hotel was very close to our family so that worked out just great. As for the facilities and service, they were wonderful. The staff was most friendly and the little cafe was just right. To quote those famous people "We will be back"!!

This hotel was clean and the room was nice, but the bed was awful! It was hard, uncomfortable, and unpleasant. The pillows were like throw pillows and so unsupportive. Really disappointing, since I've stayed in other Mariotts without this issue. Can't reccomend this hotel, as a comfy bed is really what you're paying for!

The rooms were good sized, bathroom small, but clean. Came with extra chair/couch and good work area. Staff were very friendly. Nice breakfast area and lots of amenities. Easy to find. Easy access from the highway. It snowed overnight and parking lot was clear when we left early in the morning.

I've never stayed in a hotel in Wallingford before, I had relatives to stay with. I would, however, stay here again as I felt safe and rooms were comfortable.

I chose this hotel due to its' proximity to a softball tournament, and the location was perfect. I could get her there early and return for a coffee in the lobby before heading back to the field. It's in the middle of nowhere but the staff give good directions.
