Great Hotel - great location. Minutes from Power & Light District, Country Club Plaza and steps away from the convention center. There was an event at the hotel and no parking available in the garage. I was refunded the parking fee on the spot. Excellent service all around.

Beds were hard. Arrived late and no free parking available. Ended up paying 12 dollars for valet parking. Noisy area of downtown. A/C partially worked. Not worth the price or hassle to access this hotel. Next stay will be outside of downtown.

Paid $100+/ night and I wasn't "Wowed". Great hotel but not worthy of the price tag. Service was phenomenal !!!

had to drop overall rating considerably due to the fact that it appeared to be party central this weekend. almost all saturday night we heard laughter, yelling, swearing, footsteps and constant ice machine noise from what appeared to be numerous college age type parties ongoing on our floor and throughout the rest of the hotel as well. one guest was […] even challenged to a fight when he asked the rowdy partiers to hold the noise level down. security was trying to quiet some of the noise makers but to little avail. finally at about 4:30 AM the noise subsided, probably due to the partiers drunkenness. what should have been a most pleasant experience was marred by the noisy youngsters. of course, i remember being young once so i figure it may have been a touch of "payback" that they kept us up most of the night (lol) Läs mer

Good stay overall. When I first got there it took the lady a second to talk to me. She almost acted like I didn't belong there. Once I got in my room it was clean. The bathroom made weird noises in my room and could hear the same noises from room next door. Very odd. Elevators from parking garage to the room are confusing and don't all work. Nice job with decorating, BUT I am 6'4" tall and the bathrooms are just to small ... head hits ceiling in the shower. Time to rebuild rooms.

I would definitly stay again. Overall a very nice stay. The only problem was i booked a room with one bed i get to check in and they say all they have is double but i can pay the upcharge thats forty buck and have a single bed. Kinda seems like they do that to get you to pay the extra.

Crowne Plazas tend to be outdated--what was once touted as luxury hotels are now hotels behind the times. The lowest available floor was 7, which is terrible when you have vertigo--but at least the front desk clerks were helpful to get me the lowest possible floor. The hotel was very busy at this time and hosted a variety of obnoxious adult groups. […] The room itself was OK--some of the toiletries look like they had already been used and the closet door/mirror looked like it was coming off the frame. There was also no fan/vent to circulate air in the bathroom. They also got our address really wrong on our bill, but it didn't seem to matter. LOVED that there was a Starbucks on premises. This hotel was clean, staff was friendly, nice extras like Starbucks in the lobby. Walking distance to many main downtown places. Rooms are a bit small for the price but it really didn't matter on a trip. Cost of parking in hotel garage is extra charge.

Negatives - We did not get the room we reserved, toliet seat broken, room key mechanism must have been bad ...had to replace keys about 10 times (4 times in 1 day); tv didn't initially work; handle on toliet falling off; room Very Tiny; heat and air unit very noisy. I felt the rooms were overpriced for the room. On saturday, the housekeeping was poorly done. Maybe they were busy, but for the price we paid, I thought at least the tops of the cups and things would have been straightened.

I can say nothing bad about this hotel. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant within the hotel had very delicious food. All in all it was a perfect stay! If I make another trip to KC I will definitely consider Crown Plaza again.

The location of this hotel couldn't be much better. The lobby of the hotel is upscale and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Unfortunately the amenities for the rooms are not up to par for an expensive stay. Furthermore, our shower/tub wouldn't even drain. There nothing quite like paying a premium price per night and then standing in a pool of […] your own filth when you take a shower. This hotel is within a good walking distance of the crossroads art district. Its also just a couple blocks from the downtown movie theatre, and a bunch of amazing restaurants and night spots. I was very happy with the hotel and the staff they were very helpful. Didn't like the idea I had to pay $13 a day to park, would have liked to have known that ahead of time, not used to big city parking I guess.

Starbucks in the lobby was a plus. Room service was prompt and even reasonably priced. Only a 3 block walk to the center of Power and Light district. If you like sushi, I highly recommend Drunken Fish, which is 3 blocks away, and I could see it from my 17th floor room.

Did not get a king size bed in which we paid the upgrade... No hot water for shower on Sunday. Not a good experience
