Hur detta hotell kan vara fyrstjärnigt är för mig en gåta. Rummet vi hade var iofs stort och rent, men det var också allt. Det fanns ett pentry med kyl, micro etc som vi hade tänkt använda oss av. Problemet var bara att det inte fanns någon som helst köksutrustning, inte ens bestick eller tallrikar att äta med! I övrigt dåligt med krokar för kläder, […] ont om sittplatser (t ex inget bord att äta vid), och väldigt lyhört från grannrum och korridor. Dessutom ett otroligt tråkigt område med bara hotell runt omkring. Inte en enda restaurang, café eller snabbmatsställe utan att promenera minst 15 min eller åka bil/taxi. Rekommenderas inte! Läs mer

This is the second time we stay at this hotel. Great location near the beach, and a great pool area at the hotel. Good parking where you can choose from valet or self park for $15 per day.

Elevator could be heard all night outside of our room, but not too bad..got used to it.Room service was quick, staff very polite. Allowed late check-out and care of our bags while we were on beach. Didn't get a chance to enjoy pool since working, but this area was delightful...beautiful view of the canal.

I have stayed at this hotel location several times and have ever been disappointed. I've also stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotels in nearby Sunrise, FL and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Neither compare to the Hollywood, FL location.

the rooms are clean, the pool is perfect, a cross from the beach...........i willl stay there again for sure

The hotel was very clean. Staff was helpful. The pool was beautiful with seats directly on the waterfront of the intercoastal.

My wife and I stayed at the CP for 7 days this March and the hotel was very comfortable and close to all the great sites. From shopping to dining out, this area has it all! Great golf in the area too!

I really wanted to love this hotel based on the reviews I read but it fell short. Lovely staff with the exception of the night manager (?) at the pool (entirely to serious and he escalated what should have been a joking situation into an aggressive/angry confrontation -- not cool when vacationing). The rooms are a bit worn and practical conveniences […] were not available (ex.: 6th fl ice machine out of service during my entire stay). The room I was assigned (610) was above a massive generator and had a view of the parking lot and highway. That killed the desire to use the balcony - the loud grinding sound of the generator is not soothing. Our friends stayed in 621 and the difference was like night and day. No generator sound to bear with and to your extreme left was the canal and to the extreme right was the ocean. If you want an easy view of either, you pay for it by purchasing the corner rooms, otherwise your view is a parking lot or highway. In addition, at night there USA high pitched sound that starts and stops. My boyfriend didn't mind but it drove me nuts. The room comes equipped with a microwave and mini fridge, coffee maker and sink. There are no utensils, plates, etc provided. If you want to do anything but eat out, remember to bring disposable stuff with you to your room. The women in housekeeping were lovely, accommodating and very helpful when we requested additional items. Their service didn't interfere with our schedule which was huge since we had late mornings. The hotel is located on a main stretch and restaurants, stores, and shopping is a 5 min drive maximum. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable like you expect from a 4 star hotel. Rooms were recently renovated with a very modern layout and furniture. The LCD TV set was really small (28" or less). The pool area is very nice and has a beautiful view of the Intracostal. The hotel seems to be a bit understaffed, but personal was very kind and proactive […] to help guests. For those that need a good expresso or capuccino on the morning, there is a mini Starbucks shop inside the hotel. The hotel is located one block from the beach across Ocean Dr, and there is no hotel bar or restrooms on the beach. You can only reach the beach from a public access located half block to the South from the hotel, so it's not a "beach resort". Self parking costs 16 dollars per day. I was there 2 nights with my wife and 2 kids. They loved the pool area but not the beach that was not clean and difficult to reach from the hotel. We will stay again only for a short stay. Läs mer

Stayed 3 nights. First morning housekeeping knocked and woke us, with "do not disturb" sign on door, claiming delivery of towels. We had not ordered them. Second morning bell captain banged on door, waking us (2 hours earlier than first day) with "do not disturb" sign, claiming to collect our bags for check out. Third night I made large sign reading […] "do not knock" to hang on door along with "do not disturb" sign. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. Staff was courteous, attentive and prompt. Only negative was that for some reason the shower faucet operated backwards from every other faucet I have ever used. Consequently it was evident that people had abused it trying to get it to turn on and it was partly damaged.

Stayed 1 day post cruise from Miami. Hotel let us check in super early, which was really unexpected and appreciated. Room was spotless. Weather wasn't great which put a damper on the day. Pool is not as big as it appears in photos, but still nice. Drinks very expensive at poolside bar, but convenient. Great beach an easy walk across the street. A small […] beachside cafe right across the street. We saw lots of people using water taxi although we did not, stops right at hotel. Fun to watch boats come through the causeway and the drawbridge. Walmart is a short walk just over the bridge. Would stay again and hope for better weather. Läs mer

You have to pay to park at your own hotel I mean it's rediculous and you have to drive everywhere it wasn't that nice

I reserved a corner room that two windows that oversaw the pool and canal. It was so beautiful. I loved waking up and seeing the amazing view. I had a very early plane to catch else I would of loved to spend more time there.

Hotel was comfortable and staff very friendly and accomodating. Hotel is across the street from the beach. Corner king had two balconies, one facing the busy causeway bridge with a view to the ocean across the street. The other overlooked a canal, so neither were private and fully exposed to public view. My wife and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a part business, part pleasure trip, coming down from NJ in January. Since we also spent a few nights at the Courtyard Beachfront in Miami Beach on the same trip, my review will compare and contrast the two hotels. Room - Crowne Plaza wins hands-down. The rooms are spacious, have a "wet bar" area with sink, […] microwave, coffeemaker, fridge outside of the large bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Nice little balcony. The TV was a little small given the room size, but the very comfortable bed made up for that. Area - Hollywood isn't South Beach or Miami Beach when it comes to nightlife. Not much to do, and plan to drive to a decent restaurant if that's what you're looking for. My wife took a short shuttle ride to the "award-winning, 3rd-ranked" boardwalk. If your travels necessitate a stay in the Hollywood area, then I think the Crowne Plaza is a good choice. If you are on a true vacation, there are better choices as far as location goes. Pool - Crowne Plaza's pool area is great. You can find a lounge chair in the sun or under the shade of a palm tree no matter what time of day. There's no restriction on the number of towels you can grab, which is nice because you'll need about 4 to properly pad the plentiful but uncomfortable chairs. Looking out over the infinity pool to the intracoastal was cool. The Tiki Bar's drinks were appropriately expensive, and convenient. We didn't sample the food. Parking - the CP has valet or self-park. Most guests chose self-park that is a few dollars a night cheaper than valet, and about half the cost of parking at the Courtyard. The lot had plenty of room, and the walk to the front door was reasonable. The Courtyard, by comparison, was valet only, a 25-30 minute wait for your car, and the valets we dealt with were not the friendliest folks I've ever met while vacationing. Nice hotel...too bad its not on the beach.

this was a lovely hotel and would stay here again. it was clean and looked very elegant inside. they had a nice pool area with palm trees around the pool.

Hotel staff very nice, but almost like a ghost town inside. Remodel down some time ago and it's showingit's age. Especially the towels which were miniscule and very threadbare. Parking at $19 per day very steep. On the watertaxi route but the last stop. Takes almost 2 housr from FT Lauderdale. food and drink prices also way too high

Very good hotel near the popular beaches of Miami, good staff and very pleasant rooms.

First of all we had to wait until almost five PM to access our rooms. Then there were only two towels in each room and in one of the room we had to air the room out because it smelled as if someone got very ill in it the night before! We asked for a different room and were told they were sold out. Sleeping was a total loss because of the smell and the […] beds were like the old farmers beds in the barn. lumpy, old stiff sheets, and the springs were like 1970's and to top it off... when we had our car delivered from valet it looked like it was in a bird target zone and all the birds made perfect scores. Really, I am not kidding! My car was covered in white bird poop! The valet manager said it was too bad but there was nothing he could do about it! This is a beautiful cayenne limited turbo 100+ black on black totally decked out that came to the hotel spotless! I couldn’t believe it? Anyway the hotel desk manager came out and said he would remove the valet charge, right, I just check my visa... not only did he not take the charge off, there is a fifty, yes, $50.oo charge for valet per room! Bogus on all accounts. Now I have to go through all the B.S. disputing all the charges and sicking my in house attorney on them. Nothing too exciting, but has a nice pool on the waterfont and is just across the street from the beach. Stayed here a couple nights when I had to be in Miami unexpectedly and it was a great place for the money.

I must say that my family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. After booking our rooms I’d read some less than favorable reviews regarding this hotel and I was a bit concerned. We were coming off a cruise ship, and we […] arrived at the hotel several hours before check-in, but the staff worked tirelessly to get into our rooms ASAP. I do have one caveat to my praise of this hotel. There isn’t much to do in the neighborhood. There’s a beautiful beach across the street from the hotel, and a 7-Eleven conveniently next door. Having said that, the pool area is a nice spot to hang out. There’s a trolley that runs every half hour on-the-hour which will take you to the Beach Broadway and it costs a $1.00 each way. The Broadwalk is a great place to people watch or grab a bite to eat or a drink. Additionally, there is the beach. From the moment that I checked in early, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was suprisingly large and nice. The refrigerator and microwave allowed me to save money by walking to the Wal*Mart for groceries. Close to the ocean and on the intercoastal waterway, but not close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Very nice pool area. Only complaint was that the refrigerator didn't work at all.

This hotel is great for location and amenities. Each room is equipped with a mini fridge and a microwave. No dishes, but if your a bachelor this is nothing new and get by easily. Nice views of the causeway are available with the taller floors and well worth it. Mornings are comforting sitting on your balcony drinking a coffee watching the boats pass […] on the causway as the sun rises. Well kept and good location. Other than being clearly dated, the hotel is comfortable, quiet and clean (except maybe the carpet). The hotel staff were extremely helpful and responsive. The room carpet looked a little dingy - but that is the way it is with carpet....I don't think it was unclean but worn. We were there with 2 small children - so I looked for a hotel with kitchenette. […] The kitchenette includes a small fridge and microwave/sink. It does not include plates/utensils, etc. I had read that from another reviewer so went to the store and got plastic right away. As long as you know to do that, the kitchen is perfect for our use. We stayed 3 nights at the Crowne Plaza and were very happy with the accommodations. We have a 1-year old and were pleased to have the kitchenette in our room--we don't know what we would have done without it! The pool was lovely (except for the birds that sometimes bathed in the shallow end). The hotel is right across the street from the beach and access […] is very easy (which we were worried about, but you cross the street and there's the beach!). I would have liked a little more things within walking distance, but if you get in the car, there are many things just a very short distance away (1-2 miles or less). Walking distance to 7/11, Spa (which was great!), Pizza place, The Diplomat hotel and beach. Walmart is just over the bridge. The room only had one very small trash can and there were no plates or utensils in our kitchenette. I went down the the restaurant to get them, which was not a big deal, but still inconvenient. We called for extra towels 3 times […] to no avail and ended up taking them from the cart in the hallway. We got the breakfast included in the room and it was good, but regular prices were high. Drinks were $10 at the bar. The pool is very nice, it would be nice to have had a playground for the kids. Overall, a very nice stay. Läs mer

Not the best of hotels, the rooms are a nice size. Dont expect any type of service here, in fact I am not sure what type of service I am to expect from a Crowne Hotel since this is my first time staying here and last.

very attentive staff...overall experience was excellent.

We stayed here over the 9/25 weekend and had a wonderful time! The hotel is conveniently located, has a great pool/jacuzzi, and mini fridge and microwave in room. 7-11 is located next door for easy snacking convenience! Would definitely stay there again.
